Yellow Rose for @Margo Fox

Salem had managed to wolf down some lunch and was now looking forward to trying to track down her next delivery. She recognized Margo's name from scouts, the girl having just moved into the Phoenix scouts with Salem, but she'd had a bit of trouble remembering which house she was. "Hey, Margo, right?" She asked, finally spotting her at the Hufflepuff table after finishing checking out Ravenclaw. "I have a rose for you!"

Margo had heard older kids talking about Valentine's day and roses but she wasn't sure there was anything that could have prepared her for the craziness around her. She had sent roses to her friends and she hoped they had done the same. Yet, there was a part of her that wanted to hide away even if it meant not getting any roses. But she couldn't avoid the great hall forever and she ducked in quickly hoping to get something quick to eat. She had just sat down when she was approached by an older girl who was vaguely familiar. Margo nodded, suddenly losing her voice when it came to confirming who she was. "Oh thank you." she said and took the yellow rose carefully.

Salem was pleased to find out she'd remembered Margo's name correctly, it'd always stuck a bit more than some of the other scouts because Salem liked her last name. Fox was just a cool name, especially for a scouting. "This is your first rose year right? They're pretty fun, right?" She asked contently, passing over the note along with the rose for Margo. "Happy Valentine's."

Thanks for being my friend! Happy Valentine's Day!

Isadora

Margo spun the rose's stem between her finger's and watched the petals flutter before looking up again when the older girl asked her a question. She furrowed her brow and considered how to answer. "It's my first year...ever." she said tentatively. It was her first year sending or receiving roses but it was also just her first year and she felt like she needed to point that out. Thankful for the distraction she took the note. "Thank you." she said before reading it quickly. She smiled reading Isadora's note and felt a bit calmer about the day. Sometimes she felt a little lonely at school but it was nice to know her friends had thought of her. "Happy Valentine's day." Margo added quickly.
