Helios had been sent the costume. His sister had decided that he needed one, so he was wearing one, but the great hall was not a place that he really wanted to be. it was scary, with so many things flying around and the music was too loud, and bobbing for apples was dangerous. Nothing about this seemed safe, and he couldn't spot a single adult who could in fact put a stop to any of it. In fact he'd spotted one professor actually dressed up. Helios was carefully making his way into the hall, knowing that something was going to jump at him and scare the daylights out of him. He knew he'd be having nightmares for months after too.

Felix loved Halloween. He loved the costumes and the scary decorations, and he was sad to think that this was his last feast. Obviously he knew the holiday existed outside of school but it would be different and less special out there. He wanted to enjoy it while he could. His own costume was a little weird but he was working with what he had. He had just filled up on some snacks and was about to look for some friend when he spotted a first year walking into the hall alone. "Hey! Cool costume, ghostbuster right?" Felix asked as he approached the younger boy.

Helios was not having a great time, there was just a lot that he didn't like about this. he was approached by an older boy, the head boy if Helios remembered rightly. "yeah," he said shortly. "it was my dad's favourite film." he explained, since this boy clearly knew what it was, but Helios hadn't actually seen the film, he'd gotten five minutes into it and had been too scared. "What are you?" he asked, though still glancing around, as if everything was a possible threat.
