It was still only early as Rosalie stepped out and into the muggle part of town. New Zealand was a big place when you gave it time and though in the Summer it was usually fairly warm, today was a little chilly. She was used to the colder temperatures of England usually, but as she had been living in New Zealand for shy on about five years, she had almost all but acclimatised herself to the warmer weather and now anything below about twenty degrees required a jacket. Still, it wasn't too much of a problem and it wasn't as terribly cold. It was only slightly chilly if she was examining it from that point of view. It was only the fact that she was currently occupying a muggle area and so couldn't perform magic that was causing her grief, of course that didn't mean much. Most of the time Rosalie lived in her apartment in Obsidian, it was only small, but it suited her needs well enough. She did have a room mate though, which was difficult at best. The woman was not much younger than her, but she kept odd hours most of the time and it was often difficult to have a decent conversation about anything other than her cousin or her work. Not that Rose would begrudge her anything of the sort, but sometimes she wished they could speak about anything other than what they did all day. Really it was quite boring.
Hopping a train to central New Zealand was one thing, but getting onto the train and then forgetting one's ticket within the train was quite another. Looking between herself and the train guard, Rose, uncharacteristically, cursed under her breath. She was from the department of muggle worthy excuses, surely she could lie her way out of a train ticket? She looked around for anything she might be able to use as a defense, but she was getting little accomplished before spotting her opening when the train guard turned his back. Ensuring there were no cameras within range, Rose quietly stepped over the turnstiles and quickly made her way down the path. She was looking back over her shoulder to see if she'd been spotted when she suddenly walked straight into someone. "Oh! Oh, I am terribly, terribly sorry!" She said from her new position on the ground. The sun through the clouds was obstructing her view slightly as she looked up. "I'm so sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going."
