Closed Satisfied Curiosity

Indi had missed the library while she had been home. Muggle libraries hardly seemed to come close after spending most of the past two years in here buried under books her old school friends would find inconceivable. She always had trouble relating to kids her own age but now that she went to a school she couldn't even talk about made it almost impossible to talk to the few friends she still had. Indi shook her head as she walked through the stacks looking for the herbology section. She didn't want to think about that right now, instead she wanted to get lost in a book about poisonous plants or which ones could be used to heal. Eventually she spotted the volume she was after and frowned when she noticed it was one of the higher selves. Indi looked around quickly too see if there was anything she could stand on but came up short. She sighed and decided to just try and reach for it and reached up all the way on her tip toes and slowly started to pull the book out from it's well worn spot. With one last tug the book came free much more quickly than she was expecting and she lost her grip as it fell to the floor and landed with a loud whack. Indi swore much louder than what was usually permitted in a library and hoped she had somehow gone unnoticed by the librarian.

Valencia had enjoyed her time at the Hogwarts library. It was similar and one of the only areas that had seemed a little more normal and muggle like to her than any place in Hogwarts. The library had given her some familiarity. The Ravenclaw had made her way to one of the aisles, keeping an eye out for a book that had probably some interest. Though, maybe keeping an eye out for any books that could help her with a subject was good too. While browsing for a book, she had suddenly heard a loud thump on the other side of the bookshelf she was at. Valencia slowly made her way towards where the racket was coming from and saw it was a familiar girl she had seen from classes. "Is everything okay? I heard a loud thump noise" Valencia asks quietly, knowing that they were in a library.

Indi turned around quickly when she heard someone ask if everything was ok. But she relaxed when she noticed it was just a girl in her class and not the librarian. Although maybe her friendship with Bran would give her some kind of leverage. "Everything is fine." she said with a sigh as she bent down and picked up the book. "They should make these easier to get down." she complained but not before checking the book for any kind of serious damage. Now that she was in the clear she considered the girl in front of her. "What was your name again?" she asked. Indi was never great with names if she didn't have reason to remember them, but she figured she should try and learn hers.
