Bada was sad that the year was half over already, she was so close to being finished with school it seemed strange. She had patrol later that night but before she met up with her partner she decided to stop by her favorite house elves in the kitchens and see if she could get a snack while there. She was glad the food here was behind delicious, when she had first started she was worried she wouldn't like anything having grown up on her mother's Korean cooking and coming to a school that was more English and western based in general. Her day hadn't been terrible, she liked being on break and opted to stay at the school over the holidays to enjoy the castle while she could, she'd be able to go and see her family for the holidays but they didn't celebrate Christmas so it did not bother her being away from home during this time. Heading into the kitchens she was greeted by the warmth of the ovens and the smells from dinner earlier in the day.

 

[Melusine de Valeriane]

Melusine saw the end of the semester as a defeat, her grade was not so good and the little acquaintance she had gained had not been of use to her for the moment.Maybe she should have gone to her cousin, she always knew how to cheer up or her other cousin, Ben, whom she would "kindly" annoy. But no, she had decided to go down to the kitchens of the castle for the very first time of the year.She had thought that a cup of hot chocolate and a piece of pie might magically make all of her problems go away.
When she entered it she noticed the very large size of the room which, thinking about it, was quite logical considering the number of people to feed.Her eye was then caught by a movement not far from her, this one belonging to a brunette girl who seemed several years older than Melusine.Maybe speaking with someone older would help her for her reputation, her knowledge or just to make the loneliness a little too present for her liking disappear. "Hey." she said as she approach the girl.

 

[Bada Yeong]

Bada turned surprised to hear a voice that wasn't one of the staff in the kitchen. Her shock quickly turned to a smile seeing a young student, most likely a first or second year from another house approaching her. "Hello, is there a snack you'd like to have? Our staff in the kitchens is wonderful and able to conjure up just about anything to suit your fancy," Bada said to the younger girl. She hoped she didn't give off teacher or Hogwarts staff vibes too much but she was a prefect after all so help was what she was there for.

 

[Crystal Holmgaard]

Crystal had been losing her way for the i can't count how many more times and had landed somewhere down in the castle. She was actually looking for the dungeons but where she now walked didn't seemed like that. As she noticed an door she figured to see what was behind to see if that was the right one to go through. So as she opened the door she was kind of suprised to see an kitchen. And she directly felt like she was not supposed to be here. Spotting two other girls made her even more suprised. '' Hello..?'' She than said shy as she came closer slowly. Hearing the older girl ask which snack the other girl wanted. '' Where are we?'' She than asked the girls, which was perhaps an stupid question because she could see what it was but she had no idea where in the castle she now was.

 

[Melusine de Valeriane]

When the girl asked her if she wanted a particular snack Melusine replied, “Yes why not. Are there pancakes around?” She spoke in her usual nonchalant tone.She already knew the anecdote about the food conjuration but decided not to bring it up to the girl.She sat down on one of the empty tables before reaching out her hand to her. "I'm Melusine" She thought that maybe introducing herself would be a good idea.

At the same time another girl of about her age came up to them asking where she was "We are in the kitchens. Are you lost?" Melusine had saw the girl before during common lessons but never really talk to her ,it's not like she was talking to a lot of people .

 

[Bada Yeong]

Bada smiled to the younger girl as she mentioned what food she was interested in snacking on. She glanced over at one of the house-elves who quickly got to work at a stove cooking away and set pancakes down in front of Melusine a few moments later. "Bada," she replied reaching out shaking the young girl's hand. She was surprised to hear another younger student coming in sounding quite confused. "We're in the lower levels, were you looking for the potions classroom or something else down here?" She asked trying to figure out why the girl was confused and it seemed like she must have taken a wrong turn somewhere. "Here, sit down and you can ask them for a drink or a snack while you're here," Bada said bringing a stool over to the table she was standing at with the other young girl.

Crystal listened as the girl answered, she seemed around the same age. The kitchens? So here was the food prepared. Crystal looked around suprisingly and wondered if she was able to come here. But others were here also and the older girls seemed to be an prefect looking at her badge, she had learned that. And her head of house told her to find her prefects from Ravenclaw also to help her around in case needed. She nodded at the question if she was lost. Was it that obvious? The older girl said she could sit and ask for an drink and snack. That seemed very kind. And she didn't want to tell that she didn't even had to be here close, but was completly lost, she felt ashamed for that. '' Thank you.. are we allowed to be here? There are.. house elves right?'' She than asked the two girls. Crystal walked over to the two slowly and went sitting down, smiling shy to both. She had heard them saying their names while coming here. '' I'm Crystal.'' she than said.​
