Open Rose for a Captain

((Yellow, open after Jacob Kingsley))

Having just made an outdoor delivery, it made sense to Emily to swing by the Quidditch pitch in search of her next rose's recipient. She didn't think she had ever actually spoken to Jacob, but she knew of him well enough as the Quidditch co-captain, not to mention the Head of House's son. Emily looked forward to the chance to actually talk to the boy, and hopefully put a smile on his face. She beamed when she spotted him, hurrying over quickly. "Hey, Jacob! I've got a delivery for you!" Emily called out happily, basket of roses swinging on her arm.

Jacob had just landed on the ground, running a hand through his messy hair as he dismounted, when he heard his name. He turned, the voice unfamiliar. He had completely forgotten today was the rose day, a small set of butterflies set off in his stomach as he realized his roses would be on their way to their recipients as well. "Heeeeey. Ok then" he grinned, standing in suspense. It was always a fun moment, wondering who a particular rose was from and what color he'd get. "I'm ready."

Emily smiled cheerfully as she approached Jacob, glad she had been able to find him so quickly. She reached into her basket and made sure she selected the right rose and card, handing them over to Jacob with a smile. "Here you are!" She said cheerfully, handing the bright yellow rose to the older boy.

Jacob smiled as he was handed a rose and its accompanying note. He quickly broke the seal and read the note, his smile growing. Jacob hadn't hung out with Zennon in ages, didn't even think the Slytherin thought about him anymore but this note made it clear that wasn't the case. "Thanks" Jacob stated politely. He began to gather his gear to put away so he could then search for Zennon.
