Family
Richmond has two children by two different
women. He was adopted as a child, and had
two brothers and one sister. He later learned
of his blood relatives, most notably, Artemis
Blackmoore-Yearling, one of his nieces.
Richmond has very little involvement with any
family members other than Helene (daughter)
who spends most of her time at Hogwarts.

History
Richmond was adopted by Cynthia and James Vanetta on
the 2nd of January, 1992. He had two adoptive brothers
and one sister; Victor, George, and Hilary. The family lived
in a fairly large house in the countryside with miles of land.
In the summer, the children would go to the very edge of
the land, through the woods and to a small babbling brook
at which they played quite happily.
It was at this brook that his brothers, aged sixteen and
eighteen at the time, had a duel over the hand of a girl
named Ellen Silvestone. Richmond and his sister (fifteen
and twelve) were in the woods making houses out of
branches when they heard the shouts of the duel.
Hilary continued making the hut while Richmond went to
investigate. He hid amongst some trees to watch.
Until then, Richmond had been a good student at Hogwarts
but after that day, he began acting strange. He witnessed
his brothers maul each other.
Richmond, who had had a love for Quidditch his entire life,
suddenly quit playing on the school team. His grades then
took a turn for the worse. Richmond dropped out of Hogwarts
during his sixth year.
After a few months, Richmond met Ellen Silvestone and they
married three years later. After a few more years, Ellen fell
pregnant with their daughter, Helene. Once Helene was born,
however, Richmond kidnapped her and abandoned Ellen.
Ellen and Richmond did get divorced eventually and vowed
never to see one another again. He moved Helene and himself
to New Zealand in an attempt to start his life afresh. Since,
Richmond has been unable to control his tempers and mood
changes and is responsible for the deaths of one muggle, and
one wizard. He had tortured people at his leisure, though he
had managed to evade the authorities for eleven years, moving
around and trusting no-one. In the summer of 2029, he returned
to the United Kingdom in an attempt to continue fleeing the
Ministry. He now resides in Somerset (UK) with his daughter.
