Alex walked out along the Great Lawn, which was surprisingly windy today. This was something he hadn't expected, but something he had was the news he had learnt last night. Soon, it would be time for Chase's trial, and he needed to know if he was going to be able to attend it. Alex didn't necessarily hate his brother anymore, but they weren't the best of friends like they had used to be. Alex sighed to himself, and wondered if he would even be allowed to go. He knew that Eden wouldn't take no for an answer, and if she was going they had to allow Alex, he was Chase's brother after all, and if he wasn't allowed then Eden shouldn't be allowed to go. Alex turned to look around the grounds, and noticed that there was a lack of people out here, and that wasn't something that usually happened, no matter what day it was at this school.
Alex didn't know whether or not Chase would even want him to be there with him. Chase and Alex hadn't spoken since Alex had announced that he and Lilith had been dating, and he hadn't even spoken to his brother about their break up. Lilith had been the one that had told Alex about how Chase had become a Death Eater, and he hated absolutely despised his brother for a while. Though Alex had grown to accept his brother's choice, but not until he had learned that Chase had been sent to Azkaban, for torturing somebody, and that person was no longer than Professor Melodie Lowe. She had been hired as a Hogwarts Professor shortly after she had recovered from her temporary mental blockage. He didn't know if she would have even been fit to teach so soon, but she had proved Alex wrong and he had been excited to have her as a teacher.
Alex thought about everyone at this school Chase had known. Eden, Kida, Artemis. Out of all of them, there was actually only one of them that he had managed to get along with, and this was Artemis, and he hadn't even seen her in how long. He knew Artemis had tried to make peace with Eden before Chase had gone on his rampage of torturing people, and she didn't know about any of this. Alex thought it was about time she knew about it all, but how could he be the one to tell somebody like Artemis about one of her best friends downfalls. He didn't know if he would have such a thing in him, to ruin a friendship like that was just something he felt he could never do, but Artemis couldn't go on blinded to the truth. "Artemis .." He said, sighing softly to himself. He needed to find her, and she needed to know the truth. Boy would she be angry, though.
