Lina was well aware that Mhairi no longer needed her. The first few years of Hogwarts’s had been difficult but after coming to terms with the fact, she’d learnt to let go and delve into her own projects. At home, she had access to electricity, and part of her wished she could have brought her laptop into school. Unfortunately for Lina, she could only make use of parchment and so the Slytherin was drawing out a map on the page, a new level of the game she was designing. Other students might have enjoyed the magic that came with the school, but Lina couldn’t wait until she was done with it all. She’d even considered finding Professor Warrick to see if there was a way round the issue of batteries in school, but she had yet to seek him out.

Mhairi felt like this year so far had been her year. She get stronger than ever and nothing was going to be able to bring her down. With a firm idea of what she wanted to do, the fifth year had been actively working towards it. She was keeping an eye on Ilija too, and her brother seemed to be dealing well with the introduction of his third year. Sliding into the student lounge with her sketchbook, she slid into a spare seat, only realising too late that it was opposite her sister l, who also seemed to be drawing. Perhaps they weren’t so dissimilar after all.

Soonkyu has been bored for most of the year, but now that her older sisters had left the school and her brother was no where in sight, she considered herself the more superior sibling. As such, she’d told Taerin to meet her in the student lounge. The blonde still had a lot to learn, and so far hadn’t done a great job of standing out and making the family proud. Entering the lounge, she spotted s girl from her house, and wandered over to peer across her shoulders. “What’s that meant to be?” She asked idly, ignoring the girl who took a seat opposite.

Maggie had hidden those letters, but she certainly wasn’t going to admit it to Chaser. She cared about her brother too much to let him get caught in Minis web of lies all over again, and after stuffing the parchment under her jumper, the fourth year had slid down to the student lounge in the hopes of finding a quiet place to reread what the dancer had sent her crush. Being the only one left at Hogwarts was more than difficult, but she felt like she knew what she was doing. She slid into a chair near a few other girls, trying not to listen in on their conversation, and pulling out the letters began to read across Aminias scrawl.

Even though she had work to do, Isla was much too distracted following behind one of the older students who seemed to be wearing a lot of silver jewellery. Isla didn’t enjoy nor did she condone stealing, but she just wanted to look at it in a bit more detail. She’d spent most of the afternoon searching outside but nothing had been of much interest. As the girl entered the student lounge, Isla did her best to be discrete, following the brunette as she stopped to talk to a couple of other students. As she pretended to be involved in one of the papers on the side, one of her hands was reaching out towards the bracelet than hung on the girls arm, just to see what it was like.

Soonkyu has become much more bossy since Kimmy and Soohye had left, and Taerin wasn’t convinced she was looking out for anyone but herself. After receiving the note to meet her sister in the lounge, the blonde had reluctantly headed down there to see what she wanted. Upon entering the room however she realised her sister was already talking to a few people, but it wasn’t that that made her frown. “Can we help you?” She asked a younger girl who was trying to snatch something from her sibling without her noticing. Taerin had managed to get behind the group without being spotted, and as much as she hated the Slytherin she was still going to look out for her.

Tres had been perfectly minding her own business in her own corner of the student lounge, when she heard someone’s tone turn sour. She looked up to see a small group of students milling around some of the tables, and the tiny Slytherin hopped up from her spot to get a better idea what was going on. Believing that the girls that were sitting must have done something good, she peered at the desk and realised two of them were drawing. She grinned at the quiet one with the pretty dress, wondering if she’d made it herself because it seemed too unusual to buy in stores, “What are you doing?” She asked, before glancing up to see one of the older students steal from the other.

Olive had been ignoring Leda for so long, the Slytherin was beginning to wonder if she was still alive. Of course it was an exaggeration but it still made the red head sad to think about. Perhaps she still wasn’t going enough, and by doing well in her exams, the former potions professor would talk to her again. She glanced up from her text book and sighed when she saw a group of students arguing about something, recognising a couple from her own house. She had enough to do without her prefect duties too, and while she continued to read, she had half an ear open to the incoming scene.
