Robert walked through the forbidden forest on his own, kicking the damp leaves as he went. He hadn't been around here since the incident with Larissa. Something he'd managed to keep at secret for nearly a year. He knew he wasn't supposed to be around here, especially not at night, but he wasn't bothered. Both Libby and Larissa had left the school, and Robert wasn't sure where he fitted in anymore.
Suddenly his head looking up at the sound of shuffling footsteps. He new the dangers of the forest, and hoped it would just be another student rather than a werewolf.

Rhi after what seemed like an hour of deciding where to spend the time before she would be sleepy,she set out for the forbidden forest..Afraid of the dark she was,still Rhi find the courage to wander at night..She remembered just then that this was the place where Robert deceived her with Larissa..Rob,her heart seem to ache..I wonder where is he??She lit up her wand just to see its light fell on Robert's figure..She stopped short,few steps from him..She remained silent as she look on him..

Robert jumped when he saw a sudden burst of light shining from someone's wand. For a moment his heart lept as he thought he'd be caught by a professor, before he realized it was in fact another student. "Can you turn that out?" he called, having no idea who was standing in front of him through the bright light that his eyes had yet to adjust to. He was glad someone had a wand though. He'd managed to loose his in the river in the holidays, and had to to buy a new one.

Rhi jumped as she waved the wand out of Robert's eyes.."Sorry.",she replied softly..She made a few steps closer,the light barely reflecting their faces..When she was quite three steps from him,she asked nervously.."Rob..What are your doing here??",half hoping he could not make out her face but just recognize her voice..

Robert knew the instant he heard her who she was. "Rhianne" he smiled, more to himself than anyone else. He's truthfully missed her, even though it had been him that ended things in the past. He had a sudden urge to hug her, but knew he'd already made too many mistakes in the past, and assumed Rhianne was simply asking because he was here, rather than because she wanted to. "I.." he wasn't sure what to say. "I come here to think i guess" he said. In the past he would not have thought, but simply acted upon his instincts. However as he was growing up, he was trying to be a different person.

Rhi's heart swell just at the sound of Rob's voice saying her name..She could not hold back the tears as she spoke.."Rob.." She wouldn't deny that she missed him that much..Even if it was him who ended up things,she knew that Rob was just confused..Her eyes blurred at her tears,making her stumbled towards him..If Rob was not there,she stumbled directly to the ground..She was already crying..

I dont know if it's lame but that's how Rhi would act if she saw Rob again..They have been through a lot already..

Robert was slightly suprized at her reaction, but his arms flew out and wrapped around her, pulling her close. He wasn't sure what to say. She was obviously upset about something, but whether it was them he wasn't sure. He turned, leading her by the hand through the forest, until they came to a familiar place to Robert. A clearing he had discovered years ago. It the middle sat a rock, and he took a seat, pulling Rhi with him and putting and arm round her. "What's wrong?" he asked. He could only find out if he asked.

Rhi only cried on Rob's chest as felt him wrapped his arms around her..She felt her arms wrapped around his waist as Rob led her by hand to a clearing wherein they sat on a rock..He pulled her with him and placed an arm around her.."What's wrong?" ,he asked..She looked up into his eyes and replied,sniffing.."You..Me..Us..Now..",she sobbed.."I missed you..I don't care if you would say otherwise but that's how I feel..",she explained,admitting her feelings that didn't fade for Rob..She looked down again on her lap,avoiding his gaze and trembling on what his reaction would be..

Robert knew she must have guts to simply say it, and he held on to her tighter. "What about luke?" he asked, "I thought you were with someone else?" he reached round and stroked her cheek, making her look up as he brushed her tears away. He was sure she must be feeling how she said she did, but why hadn't she said before? "I thought i made you unhappy?" he said finally, remembering that night in the student lounge. This wasn't the first time he'd made her cry.

Awww...How sweet..

Rhi sniffed as she fiddled with her hands..What about Luke?" he asked, "I thought you were with someone else?" he reached round and stroked her cheek, making her look up as he brushed her tears away..Rhi was forced to meet his eyes,wanting to drown on them.."Luke is history..We were never that together and his old love returned..We were never together not the way we are..",she gestured at their position,close to each other.."I thought i made you unhappy?"Rhi knew what he was thinking..The night at the student lounge.."I know..But I know you would never do that again..That if...",her voice trailed off as she look at Robert close up for the first time in a year..She noticed him quite upset on her crying state.."Hey..",she stroked his cheek.."Im fine..happy really..",she assured him

Robert looked down into her eyes and smiled as she stroked his cheek back. His arm around her supported her body, and he lent down and kissed her forehead. "How can you be so sure?" he asked. He knew himself he wouldnt'. It was dishonest, and something he'd learnt was never a good trait for a relationship. But Rhianne, who had only just spoken to him again for the first time since, how did she know he'd changed. "Surely you should give me a chance first? Instead of jumping straight in" he said. He said it for her benefit. So that if they did get together again, it would be for the right reason.

Rhi closed her eyes at the touch of Rob's kiss on her forehead.."How can you be so sure?" he asked..Rhi just smiled and stroke his nose.."You are a changed Rob now..You should have yelled at me when you recognize me but you did not.."She smiled as she looked at Rob and the night sky above.."Surely you should give me a chance first? Instead of jumping straight in" he said..Rhi turned and nodded.."Maybe..One chance..But how would??And can you prove it??",she asked him sincerely..

Robert had missed Rhi, and dispite his efforts to put her out of his mind, she had still stayed in his heart. He nodded slowly. He knew he would have to prove himself. "I will." he started. "I know i did wrong before. If you would give me a chance to prove myself then i will" he repeated. He wasn't sure how, but he knew how to be a good boyfriend. He had an idea. He had not attended the event since his break-up with Rhi, but maybe this would be the first loyal thing he could do to show her. He unwrapped his arm from around her, and got off the rock. Turning to face her he knelt down on both knees, taking her hands in his. "I know i don't have to go to this..level.." he chuckled to himself, "to do this. But i think after everything we've been through, we should try to have a new start" he explained, looking straight into her eyes. Even though he was on his knees, the rock was low enough that they were almost level. "Will you go to the yule ball with me?" he asked, waiting for her response.

Rhi smiled as she heard Robert said the words that she longed to hear back when they were together.."I will." he started. "I know i did wrong before. If you would give me a chance to prove myself then i will" he repeated..And Rhi that it was a promise..She thought they would just sit in silence there,contented in each other's newfound company when Rob got off the rock and knelt before her.. "I know i don't have to go to this..level.." he chuckled to himself, "to do this. But i think after everything we've been through, we should try to have a new start" he explained, looking straight into her eyes..Rhi chuckled,she knew what the 'level' means..It was him kneeling and her sitting on rock that is low..She never dared to blink as she gazed at Robert.. "Will you go to the yule ball with me?" he asked, waiting for her response..Rhi could not believe it!!It would be their first time to attend a school event,let alone that they will be attending it together..No word comes out of her mouth as she nodded..She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him lightly on the cheek.."I would be honored to..",she whispered..

Robert grinned back at her when she fell back into his arms. He was glad he was attending it this year, and now began to feel excited with the fact she would be attending with him. With one hand he stroked back her blonde hair, and lightly kissed her cheek back, enjoying the moment they had together. Robert knew they would need to head back up to the school soon, he just couldn't find the want to move just yet. "Even if it's just to the common room. We should get out of here." he breifly glanced over her shoulder, the darkness looming, closing in on them.

Rhi smiled more as Robert kissed her back on the cheek..She enjoyed the time they had now..It has been forever since they got together..She noticed Rob glanced behind them and said,. "Even if it's just to the common room. We should get out of here." Rhi understood what he meant..Forest is off limits and dangers lurk everywhere..She stood up and pulled him together with her.."Common room it is..",she agreed sweetly..
