Reminiscing

[Alexandra Hohenstein]

Alexandra knew very well that she was out of bounds. But alas, from the other side of the lake the cliffs looked too nice to be skipped, so she promptly arrived here. The autumn air was cold yes and the grass damp. But it all didn't matter for her as she layed down on it, sighing as she went. Six month's of separation from her parents with only sporadic contact via owls had made her seriously lonely. Hopefully now that would be rectified.
Cliffs... The White Cliffs... of Dover. Gosh, it used to be her favourite place on Earth. Now she didn't knew anymore. If only her parents knew that muggleborns were second class citizens, no better than jews during the war...

 

[Penelope Fournier]

Penelope felt bad. She knew the cliffs were off limits, and even though she had been there before, that she shouldn't go there. But something seemed to be dragging her there. She had had a dream about something on the cliffs, seeing Alix again. And she wanted to see her friend again. Penelope loved to see her friends. It was normal. She quickly made her way to the cliffs. She wore her Gryffindor sweater and some sweatpants. She then noticed her friend. She started to run, but this had not been a good idea.

Penelope fell to the ground. She had tripped over a twig. Thankfully, she had put her hands out to catch her fall, but they had been scraped by a few rocks. She quickly stood up, blushing and made her way towards her friend, this time watching where she was going. "Hi, Alix," she said when she reached her friend.

Alexandra was just sitting there enjoying her view when she heard something, or someone trip and fall to the ground. Rising up in an instant, she said while whirling around: "Who's there?"
Once she had managed to fix her eyes on the person, she let out a gasp as she recongnized the person. Swiftly she went over to Penny and watched her get up and blush. Smiling she walked over to Penny and gave her a hug. "Hi Penny," she replied. "I hope you're all right. Nasty fall there."
