Sage was not studious and so this meant she had not worked overly hard for her exams. She had few interests in such things, though sometimes she wanted to try. She knew that it wouldn't be too hard to do well if she just put in a little bit of work, but sometimes that didn't really matter, and she wouldn't do it. What she did realise was that her father probably didn't realise she was going home soon, since he had sent her some new make-up and clothes. It was odd that he did this, mostly because she could tell that he still knew nothing about make up and was still however trying very hard to get something she might like. Sage was still a fairly young teen, and she was just finding the sort of make up that she liked, that she would be interested in wearing. The colours that suited her, and the ones which did not. This time around she had taken various colours of nail polish from the selection that her father had sent was planning to test a number of them out. Happily the teen made her way through the many halls up to the one place that would have the space that she needed. The Great Hall was busy, and well, Slytherin common room, just didn't have the lighting she wanted. Sage was looking forward to going home, though she was unhappy at the fact it was winter and cold, and that she couldn't wear cute summer clothes. Instead having to layer up so she didn't get cold.

The Student lounge was fairly empty when she arrived, the odd person sat in various places in the room, Sage found herself a table and just began to take the nail polish out the bag, and line them up, so she could see them all. Sage would've shared what her father had sent, but she was not the most sociable girl, and actually had very few friends at this point. So, she didn't really have anyone that she could actually share them with. The monthly was done for the year, so she didn't have to do that, nor could she find an excuse to talk to those folks. Sage wasn't a particularly mean girl, she was just a little harsh, and it was hard to really make her care about the people around her, so it was very understandable as to why Sage had a bit of difficulty actually making and keeping friends. So, while she lined up the various colours, she gave a quick glance around her, before refocusing on what was in front of her. She was content with just doing this herself. She picked up the first colour, a bright baby pink, a little bright for her taste, but she opened the bottle, with a little difficulty and then began applying it to a few of her fingers, not the entire hand, just a few fingers, examining it as she held it up to the light, it was a nice little colour, much nicer on her fingers than it appeared on the bottle.

Sidenote: The title, honestly couldn't come up with anything better.
