Obsidian Harbour was becoming more or less of a second home to Izaak nowadays and it was all because of one person. He had never intended for them to ever be together or for his and Alexis break-up, no matter how much he still loved her, to open up such an opportunity. But they were and it had. Isabella and Izaak. Even their names had that ring to it, was it possible that he and Alexis had broken up for a reason bigger than either of them could have comprehended.
But no such thoughts were shooting through his mind as his feet hit the ground with such precision in accordance to the beats blasting through his earphones that no one could have guessed he had been running like this for the good part of an hour. That was until they noticed how damp his wifebeater was as it clung to his chest, or the glistening beads of sweat that had formed just beneath his hairline. But Izaak carried on, at this rate he could run forever if he really set his mind to it. It was such a release from everything that had ever intended on weighing him down.
A park was quickly approaching, its grass such a luscious shade of green that Izaak began to wonder how comfortable it would be to lie on. And just like that the fierce determination shattered and suddenly Izaak no longer wanted to run forever, hed so much rather collapse in the park instead. Drawing to a gradual stop, Izaak tore his earphones from his ears and let his iPod drop carelessly to the ground before allowing himself to fall in very much the same manner onto his back. His palms slicked up over his hottened face, snaking his fingers between his honey brown hair as his broad chest heaved up and down with every jagged breath. In such a state of exhilaration, Izaak didnt even notice there was a girl sitting down near him just a mere few yards away.
