Lucy had reached her one red rose in her basket. It held a sense of awe to her - love. What did Lucy think about love? Was she maybe too young to understand? Lucy didn't have answers, only questions, as she sought out the recipient to the rose. She found her outside the Hufflepuff common room. Being another older student, Lucy was a little bit nervous as she greeted her, but at the same time excited to see what her response would be when she saw the rose she received. Happiness? Confusion? Lucy hadn't read the note itself (because she had self-control, thank you very much) but she was very intrigued to see what the outcome of the rose would be. "Hi!" Lucy greeted. "Sorry to interrupt, uh, you know, if you're going somewhere, but, um, I have a rose to deliver for you," Lucy said, stumbling a little over her words. She really needed to get used to talking to the older students.

@Margo Fox

Margo was running late for class. In all the chaos of the day she had forgotten one of her books in her room and had to come back for it. But before she could quickly run off a younger student was stopping her. "Oh hi!" she said as the girl seemed to stumble over her words. Margo recognized her from the Wild Patch meetings and quickly made peace with being late to her next lesson. "A rose for me? How exciting!" she said earnestly with a warm smile.

((Sorry for the late reply!))

Lucy couldn't help but smile back at the older student. It was quite an infectious smile. She fetched the rose in question from her basket - her only red - and its attached note. She really wondered what was in it. A confession of love? Or a love already blooming? The thought gave Lucy nervous jitters. She didn't understand love, but she wanted to. "Here you go," Lucy said, handing it over carefully.

Dear Margo, Happy Valentine's Day! I've never been very good at expressing feelings but I'm really glad that I met you. You are beautiful, clever, brave and just overall amazing. I hope you know that you can always talk to me and even if there are things I can't solve I can at least hold your hand through it all. Can't wait to dance with you tonight. Love, Michael

Margo waited patiently for the girl to present her with the rose, but when she pulled out a red rose she couldn't help but be a little surprised. She knew Michael would be sending her a rose but knowing and seeing it in front of her made her stomach do a nervous flip. "Oh thank you." she said as she took the flower and read the note. She knew she must be smiling like an idiot as she read the note but she couldn't help it and didn't really care. But as she got to the end of the note, the 'love' in the signature made her stomach do yet another flip. She hadn't said the world love anywhere in her note. Would he notice? She needed to be heading off to class but now she was paralyzed as she started to over think.
