Daintree was looking forward to being back at home, it would nice to revisit all of the places and people he had left behind. His brother’s parties would be fun, everything would be more fun than this place. The slytherin would be able to try to convince his father again to let him leave the school. It hadn’t worked in the other attempts and maybe his arguments had been a little half assed in the last occasion but Dain wouldn’t ever admit that and he’d give it another chance. He would jump at the opportunity to leave the school but maybe he wasn’t fighting it nearly as hard as he had been before, maybe the school wasn’t too bad. He knew his parents would’ve liked for him to do better in his classes and get more stuck in with the magic, but he’d done enough that they could see he was trying a little, and it wasn’t like they’d understand that the A grade wasn’t the top grade. The slytherin was sat a little bored in the great hall. He didn’t really know what to do with himself, he knew he could reach out to some tentative friendships he’d been forming but he didn’t really want to go out of his way with any of it, though bored and wanting to do something he wasn’t all that motivated to do anything. The lunch had long since ended, and he was one of the few people left just sitting around the room, either doing work or talking with others.
