Rain laughed, "Good" She quickly swam up to the surface and looked around, she had to check her bearings, they seemed to be far out, the wind had picked up a bit, "Hnnnn" Rain said looking around

Sern walked down to the lakeside in hope of clearing his cloudy mind. He made his was stealthily through the grounds down to the lake and walked along its shores for a while. He loved the lake...
Though after a few minutes he came along and saw a girl talking to a mermaid.
He thought merpeople seemed to becoming increasingly interested in people.
He came to a step just in front of the tree line to the lake at stood their silently as usual and watched them with stormy eyes.

Arisa came up to the surface with Rain to get some air and noticed the wind was picking up. Just then Arisa's eyes clouded over and she couldnt see anymore. She was completly embarressed and scared. They were far out. She couldnt dive back down and talk to Rain about it for fear of getting lost so she just floated there frozen.

Rain Looked around She opened her mouth to speak but a horrid screeching sound came out, she sighed and went under water waiting for Arisa to follow so she could tell her somthing, when Arisa didnt follow rain went up and tapped Arisa on the shoulder

Arisa turned around to the direction the tapping came from. Arisa had big eyes and hoped Rain would notice something was wrong.

Rain looked at Arisa, she quickly spotted her eyes, grabbing her arms she pulled arisa under water "Take a breath" She sadi quickly before holding Arisa above the water allowing her time to breath. before pulling her under again so she could speak

Sern looked out over the water and saw that the girl was clearly in distress. He wondered for a moment if he should go see if he could help but held himself still, partly because he was in his robes and partly because the mermaid would do a better rescue job.

So he stood there and waited and watched for what would ahppen next, still completely still and silent. He didn't even seem to breathe

"Rain could you please take me back to the shore, my eyes have stoped working once again" Arisa said sighing as she wondered if this problem would ever go away.

Rain quickly got a proper grip on Arisa's Arms "Ok, hold on" she said Smiling, she pushed Arisa above the water so she could get one laswt deep breath befoer pulling her under water again, swimming deep so the current wouldnt pull.
Rain Quickly Sped through the water, making sure she held a good Frim grip on Arisa's Arms so she didnt drop her, the shore was far off, but she knew that Arisa could hold her breath, When Rain made it to the shore she swam above the water, she got as close as she could to the shore, putting Arisa Down in the shallow of the water, rain pulled herself onto the shore, she helped pull arisa up beside her, she spotted a boy on the Lake edge, she pointed to arisa and then to him, waiting for him to respond

Sern watched the mermaid for a while trying to figure something out then as she motioned to him it clicked, "A relative of storm I presume.." He moved forward in his cat like way to the waters edge and looked at her. "And yes I know you cannot speak above water" he said in his cool tone while he looked over to the girl. "are you alright?"

As soon as the Boy mentioned being a relative of another mermaid, she hit her fist against the ground, she shook her hair in the most violent manor, she wasnt anyones relative, she waited for him to hurry up, she clicked her fingers at him ushering him to pick up the pace,

"Thank-you so much Rain i will see you again, hopefully with the spell" Arisa said with her eyes still clouded over. She then spoke to the boy "If you could, would you please help me over to that tree" Arisa said knowing there was a tree with her things near by. "I seem to have gone blind" Arisa said trying to lighten the mood. "Temporarely of course" Arisa added quickly.

Rain flicked her tail around in the water, causing water to splash places, she hated not being able to talk, she was trying to get them to hurry a storm was coming and she didnt want them caught in the grounds when it hit,

"I see" He said carefully as he lent over the waters, then with uncommon balance he plucked the girl from the water and let her down on land. He looked closely into her eyes with his stormy ones then took her arm over his shoulder and started leading her up to the treeline. Once he made it he lent her against a tree and asked in the same unemotional cool voice, "does this happen often?"

Arisa could feel the wind picking up and hear Rain causing a big comotion. "Oh it happens quite a bit" Arisa said in a bored tone "But i think Rain is trying to tell us a storm is coming and I would hate to be caught in it." Arisa said looking in the direction she hoped the boy was. Arisa felt around with her feet for her things grabbed them and waited for the boy to come back to the castle withher "Thank-you again Rain see you again" Arisa said. "Im Arisa by the way" She said to the boy.

Rain Smiled, she quickly moved back into the water swimming under, She quickly came up and did a flip, before diving down to the seaweed bed to stay while the storm passed over

"Im Sern" He said as he took her arm once again gently and started leading her back the the castle. He didn't seem to mind storms at all, actually he loved them though he thought he better the Arisa back.
He wondered if he should make conversation seeing as though he basically even walked silently. "You come to the lake often?" He kept to the usual tone and he wore an expressionless mask. though he was rather glad of the storm, they helped him relax.

Then there was a CRACK, and the sky lit up with a large bolt of lightning and he couldn't help but let a small smile drift across his face as the clouds came together and the majestic lightning made its way across the sky.

"No today was my first time" Arisa admitted as she heard the lightning. "I love swiming though" Arisa said smiling. She was happy to meet more people. Just then it started to rain. Arisa was already wet so it didnt matter but she wanted to get back to the castle faster. "Do you like swiming?" Arisa asked with interest.

"Aye, I do, along with many other things" He said quietly as they moved through the rain. He looked to the sky's and whispered something that couldn't be heard and the lightning cracked again. "I love storms..." He said with the faint smile. "Though I suppose many don't"

Arisa usually had a hightened sense of hearing when she was blind. She heard Sern saying he loved storms "Yes they are beautiful" Arisa said looking up as if she could see again. Arisa's vision started coming back, it was very blury but it was coming back.

Sern to was watching the skys before he looked down to the path ahead and saw she was just about to trip over a stone. Taking a mental sigh he slipped around infont of her and waited untill she walked to the stone and steered her around it gently before taking his place again and continuing to walk.

"Thank-you" Arisa said as Sern steared her around something in her way. "I know it must suck being my seeing eye dog" Arisa said with a laugh. "My seeing is coming back though so you wont have to trouble your self much longer." Arisa said with a smile her vision clearing up a bit.

"It gives me something to do I suppose" He replied to the comment about the guide dog thena s she said about her vision returning. "Right well thats brilliant, now if you would just follow the path to the right instead of into the stone wall" he turned her slightly and gave a faint smile.

"Oops" Arisa said holding out her hand just in case. She headed down the path towards the castle. Just then she remembered where she had heard Serns name before "Your seeing Wednsday right?" Arisa asked him.

Serns cheeks got a tinge of red when she mentioned Wednesday, "Uh....its complicated..." He managed to mumble as they continued their way up to the castle.
