As per usual, Abbey could not sleep so she took her wand once she thought the others were asleep and walked out of her dorm room after getting the rolled up family tree she had recieved from her Aunt Rosaline, hoping that she would be able to locate her sister, but she didn't think she would be able to.

Abigail tip toed out of the castle, hoping that she would not be caught by any prefects or professors, she was already in enough trouble with most of her teachers because she was unable to focus in her classes and just wasn't picking up any of the material.

Once outside of the castle she smiled weakly to herself, and walked down to the gardens, her favorite place at Hogwarts New Zealand so far. When she reached it, she sat layed down on her stomach on the bench and uncurled the family tree, immediately she spotted Aiden Lorka and cringed.

Abbey tapped his name twice, trying to see if he was actually at Durmstrang like Theodore said he was.

Although Alyssa pretended to be asleep when Abbey had gotten up and left the room, she actually wasn't. So she waited until Abbey had left the room, and she couldn't hera her footsteps going down the stairs anymore she slowly lifted herself off of the soft mattress.

Alyssa grabbed a neaby pair off her tall Uggs and placed them on before quietly leaving the room. Alyssa's dark blue Tanktop and Boy shorts left her feeling immediantly when she had made her way down to the common room, and outside where she saw Abbey head off too.

"Abbey? Ow." Alyssa muttered when she stumbled after slightly tripping on a root. "What are you doing out here?" Alyssa ran a hand through her straight before she walked over to Abbey with a look of curiousity on her face.

"What are you doing out here?"

Abbey bit down on her lip before tapping Aiden's name once to close his biography and then rolled up the family tree before looking up at Alyssa sheepishly. "Hi Alyssa, did I wake you?" she asked weakly, hoping that she could just ignore any questions as to why she was out here, and why she never slept, she had hid it well to the girls and she didn't want to share it with them now, not afer all of the sneaking and lying she had done.

Abigail sat up and brought her legs to her chest, heavily wrapping her arms around them, with the family tree still in her hand as she looked at the blond with strained eyes, because she didn't want to light her wand, she really didn't want to use it much at this moment, or ever for that matter. What kind of witch doesn't want to use their wand? she asked herself curiously and rolled her eyes inwardly.

Alyssa noticed that Abbey had quickly rolled something up and put it away and looked at Abbey curiously. Although she was tempted to ask what it was she decided to brush it aside for now. She had just met Abbey so there was not actually much room to try and pry into her life.

Shaking her head softly Alyssa smiled softly. "No. I was already awake, heard you get up and decided to stalk you." Alyssa teased as she sat down next to Abbey.

"Why arn't you using you wand for light?"

"No. I was already awake, heard you get up and decided to stalk you."

Abbey chuckled slightly and said, assuming that Alyssa had figured it out, "And here I was thinking tere were only a few people that knew I didn't sleep." She smiled weakly and then shrugged, not actually caring that Alyssa knew that she didn't sleep, it didn't matter, only the reason why she didn't did matter.

"Why aren't you using you wand for light?"

Abbey shrugged her shoulders heavily and said honestly, "Doesn't matter." She sighed gently and asked curiously, "So why did you decide to stalk me? I'm not very interesting." Abigail yawned tiredly, not sleeping was really taking a toll on her, and she would have to take a nap during the day, sometime after classes.

posting as Abbey^^

"Same reason your out here. I couldn't sleep." Alyssa smiled. That was the honest truth. Alyssa hadn't been asleep and was curious to as where Abbey often went when she snuck out. So it mostly was a matter of curiousity.

"What were you looking at a moment ago?" Alyssa finally asked in a light tone. She wasn't able to keep the question lingering inside her head anymore.

"What were you looking at a moment ago?"

Abbey bit down on her bottom lip, she was a little afraid that Alyssa might react the same way as Theodore did if she were to say that she was reading Aiden's portion on the family tree. She sighed gently, deciding that she would just say that it was only the family tree. "My family tree," she said light heartedly.

Abigail half smiled at Alyssa then shrugged. "My Aunt," she began but stopped, she wasn't all that sure if Rosaline was indeed her Aunt, sure they were related but she hadn't gotten to see how yet. "Well someone in my family, contacted me over the winter break and now they gave me a copy of the tree so I could learn about my parents," she shrugged.

"That's good. It's always good to know a little bit about your family." Alyssa thought about her words carefully as she said them. From what she understood Abbey was an orphan. So Alyssa didn't want to make it seem like she was nagging or trying to be rude.

"Where is your family from?"

"Where is your family from?"

Abbey bit down on her bottom lip and said, "Well my parents lived in France when they were murdered, but most of my living family lives in the Slavic countries." She shrugged her shoulders lightly then half smiled at Alyssa. "That's why I refused your offer to go to France, I promised my sister we would go together and go find the house we used to live in," she explained as best as she possibly could, hoping Alyssa would understand the sentiment behind the promise.

There was more to it then that of course, when she and her sister had made that promise to each other it had been the last day they had seen each other, more over it had been the last proper conversation between the two of them.

Alyssa nodded slowly showing that she understood exactly what Abbey meant. Alyssa finally understood why Abbey had turned down her offer. And it was for a veyr large cause too.

"I understand. Theodore and I used to always talk about running when our prents made us mad." Alyssa shrugged her shoulders after her comment wondering if she had probably said too much about Theodore's past.

"Did you find a house there? And where in France did you look?" Alyssa vaguely wondered if it was anywhere nears hers.

As Alyssa spoke about Theodore, she tried to hold back a girlish smile and have her cheeks and nose flush a soft crimson. "I know," she said lightly, assuring Alyssa that she hadn't spoken too much of Theodore's past, as she could see in her eyes that it was a thought, or it had crossed her mind. Abbey surely wasn't going to press Alyssa for more anyhow, if and when Theodore was comfortable to tell her everything he would, and it worked the same way for her.

"Did you find a house there? And where in France did you look?"

Abbey looked at Alyssa with slight confusion then rolled her violet eyes at herself. "Oh I've never been, but they had lived in Brittany, France," she said with a heavy heart. Trying to shrug off the fact that she would probably never go to France again because she didn't know where Asher was she began twirling her brown curls in between her fingers of her free hand.

"I was just wondering. Because Theo and I both live in Bordeaux France." Alyssa muttered with a small smile. It was rare finding students in Hogwarts that lived in France. Most french magical families went to Beauxbatons. It was a shock to Alyssa herself that she was heer and inseatd of there.

"France is nice. But It's really nice here too." Alyssa shrugged trying to make it seme like she missed her family less. Just thinking about all the suffering Abbey went through made Alyssa's heart ache.

Abbey nodded her head lightly then asked lightheartedly, as if what Theodore had said to her didn't make her exteremly curious, but it did; so much so it was eating her alive, "You speak French then right?"

lame ^^

"I know it better then I do english." Alyssa said with a hint of curiousity in her voice. Abbey never really seemed interested in Alyssa's culture before. Why the sudden intrest in if she could peak french at all.

"Why do you want to know?" Alyssa scratched her arm lightly and continued to stare at Abbey with her bright blue eyes.

"Why do you want to know?"

Abbey bit down on her bottom lip as this question arose, she felt slightly embarassed that even that simple phrase would make her this eager and curious. He really does know how to keep me on my toes I suppose, she thought as she took a small breath and said timidly, "Well someone said something to me in French and I'm dying to know what it means."

As Abbey waited for Alyssa's response her cheeks flushed a bright pink, but she was quite relieved that her face was hidden by the mask of night. "I don't know, it probably doesn't matter much," she excused herself incase Alyssa didn't want to translate for her. If it did Theodore would have said it to me in English, she added in her thoughts.

Alyssa looked at Abbey skeptic look along with a small shimmer of hilarity in her eyes. "Your parents lived in France, but you don't know any french at all?" Alyssa giggled a little before giving Abbey a soft look to show she was only teasing her.

"Well, what did this person say? I may be able to translate it for you." She offered once she had stopped her giggling fit.

Abbey bit down at her lip as Alyssa laughed at the fact that she didn't speak French at all. She shrugged her shoulders lightly deciding not to respond on that. "Well, what did this person say? I may be able to translate it for you." She blushed as she recieted what was said to her in the dungeons as best as she possibly could. "Prions pendant un meilleur jour mon cher." She shrugged her shoulders lamely and smiled weakly at Alyssa.

lmae ^^

Alyssa blinked for a moment before she smiled and repeated "I do believe it says; Let us Pray for a better day my dear." Alyssa said repeating the setence inside her one more to make sure she had gotten it all. It be awful if Alyssa had spoken her own language wrong.

"Why? Who said this to you?" Alyssa asked with a sly smirk, wondering if Abbey had found a boyfriend.

"Let us Pray for a better day my dear."

Abbey smiled a girly smile at the translation, and blushed at Alyssa's question. "I told you I was curious as to what it meant," she answered the first one, before biting down on her bottom lip and blushing once more. "Theodore," she gushed, upon saying his name her violet eyes twinkled with excitement and joy. It was a little funny to her that she liked him so much, but was glad the feelings were reciprocated.

Alyssa's mouth dropped the moment her cousins name was uttered from Abbey's mouth. Her bright blue eyes filled with shock, curiousity, and slight humor. Alyssa knew Abbey wouldn't lie about this, but was very shocked that Theodore would ever say anything liek that. She knew her cousin better then most people would ever dare to dream about.

"Theo, said that? Are you sure?" Alyssa asked lightly.

Abbey looked at Alyssa, seeing that her friend was quite shocked at this; she smiled at her although her cheeks were flushing dark and darker. "Yes, I'm sure, he did," she chirped happily. For some reason it astounded how close they had gotten to each other and although she was over-joyed at that she still found it slightly peculiar. At the same time she didn't see why Alyssa would be so shocked that Theodore had said this to her. Perhaps it's because the context of the conversation is unknown to her, she thought but was instantly reminded that it would shock Alyssa even more to know that they had almost kissed. "Why so surprised?" she asked coyly; fiddling with the ends of her hair for effect.

As this all happened in the back of Abbey's mind she was a little worried as to what Alyssa might say or think about this. Or if she would suddenly become protective over her cousin. No, Alyssa's not like that, she decided hopefully as Abbey flashed her a warm smile.

Alyssa leaned against a tree that was behind her as a looked of thought came across her soft facial features. It would be sort of hard to explain to Abbey exactly what Theodore is like. Especially if she hasn't expirienced first-hand. Abbey most likely wouldn't believe Alyssa when she said that her cousin as a harsh air about him.

"Well...." Alyssa started a little unsure how to start. "It's just that Theodore's got this really harsh air about him. He can be very cruel and harsh at times. He's not afraid to play dirty if he has too either." Alyssa said with a frown.

"It's just that Theodore's got this really harsh air about him. He can be very cruel and harsh at times. He's not afraid to play dirty if he has too either."

Abbey giggled slightly at Alyssa's words about Theodore having a harsh air to him and shook her head slightly. "Well I know he does, you should have seen him when I told him that I was related to Aiden," she said with a roll of her eyes. "But he's a nice guy and we have a lot in common with our pasts, and can understand each other so to speak," she continued in a more gentle hue to her voice.

"I wasn't always as nice as I am now either, plus everyone has their down sides," she said positively. "And Theodore's aren't all that big, at least compared to his positives," she concluded, giving Alyssa a bright smile. Her cheeks flushed once more.

"Just don't make him really angry. That's usually when he gets the worst." Alyssa shrugged her shoulders with a soft look in her eyes. She really didn't know if Abbey should figure it out from Theodore's cousin that he has some serious anger issues.

"Have you ever seen him mad?"
