Reading in silence

Lilyanna had had a busy week. The weekend with Andrew had gone well and the exercises he was giving her made her feel a little bit better about herself. She had been getting closer to the man and was feeling more comfortable now that she knew he was only trying to help. It was tough finding out that she was different to everyone else but rewarding once she realised how lucky she was that she was getting help at a young age. The Slytherin sat in the North Tower with the novel she was currently reading open in front of her. She loved sitting in that tower and reading and couldn't think of a better place to be by herself in silence. The book she was reading was about a lost boy and a dog and they were best friends. It wasn't the best book she had read but she had nothing else. A cat would have been a better sidekick in her opinion and it made her want to write an alternate version of it. But unfortunately, she was no where near as good a writer as what the original author was and so she just tried to enjoy the book as much as possible as she sat there in silence, her eyes scanning the page back and forth.

Danielle just came back from being out at the lake with some students. Instead of going back to her dormitory room, she decided to venture out to one of the towers. She was contemplating on whether to go to the owlery and maybe send a post to her pesky brothers or to the North Tower where she can get an awesome view of the grounds. She was wondering where her friend, Eleanor, was. They were supposed to hang out together at the lake but she ended up with the other students.

After a few minutes of wandering, she wound up at the North Tower and was about to retrace her steps when she caught sight of a girl reading a book by herself.Sneaky, sneaky., Dani smiled meanly when she realized it was her friend Eleanor. She looked strange and different with her clothes since it was not her usual style. And the reading, she scoffed. Not Ellie's usual style. She slowly crept towards her friend,deciding to scare the hell out of her and hoping it would make her drop her book down to the ground. Slowly and carefully, she edged her way towards her friend and when she was already just behind her, she screamed,"Boo!", touching her friend's shoulders abruptly.

As Lilyanna continued to read the book she could almost feel herself being taken into the author's world. This was a sign of a good author and Lilyanna wondered how people could ever have such a talent with words. She wanted to know more about it and therefore continued reading. As she did so, she jumped when someone suddenly jumped on her from behind and panicked, turning around and hitting the girl in the face. She dropped the book onto the floor and quickly picked it up, furious that she had lost her page because of some imbecile. "What the f***!!" she exclaimed loudly, her face red. She wanted to cry. How dare someone touch her and disturb her when she was clearly doing something. The Slytherin could feel her hands shaking and she balled them up into fists, wanting nothing more than to push the girl onto the ground and make her suffer.
