Austin Devearux, a Ravenclaw Prefect, assembled together a date and time with Kyle to set up a time for Quidditch. He held his Sapphire streak in his hand as his step-mother had bought it for him a while back, and he smiled as he entered the pitch, ready to take flight. The box of Quidditch balls rested before him. He leaned against his broom, before he mounted it and took a fast lap around the pitch to get himself warmed up. He hovered over his position on the pitch, and he wondered whether or not people would be happy to try out or not. He was hoping, sincerely hoping, that they could get a decent team up this year and play Quidditch.
OOCOut of Character:
We really need a team this year, and this is all I remember who was on the team, and Linda and I agreed to share the position as Co-Captains. So, no first years because you don't know how to fly yet (though there are exceptions but still), so everyone is welcome, and everyone is guaranteed a spot, whether it will be alternate or not.

Miriah had been hearing all over the place that Quidditch Tryouts were going on for all of the times either today or sometime this week, she really needed to keep an eye out for all of these dates too. Today was the day that the tryouts for her house were schedule and she really wanted to be on the team so she wasn't shy about getting herself dressed into some some comfortable clothing, grabbing her newly purchased broom and heading down to the Quidditch pitch quickly so she wouldn't be late. This month had been long and painful for her. At one point she had actually thought that she was pregnant after a whole ordeal with Aiden that happened over the summer, thankfully the Doctor confirmed that she wasn't so she could still try out for Quidditch and move on with her life. Though she was going to make sure that Aiden wasn't part of it at all, though now that she wasn't pregnant with his kid..or thinking she was she always missed him being around. But things were different between them now because now that he's had his way she was probably worth nothing more than trash to him. But that was fine to her anyways because she had different plans that would just suit fine with her and just her. Miriah wouldn't lie and say that she wasn't worried about the Quidditch tryouts because she was. Her skills were in an okay point but she wasn't amazing or anything, in fact she only had a little practice before today. Hopefully her mediocre skills would get her somewhere other than a one way ticket to humiliation. The closer Miriah got to the pitch the more she began to feel nervous about it.

"Hey guys. I'd like to try out for Chaser." Miriah told the two Co-captains quickly before she stood off to the side and waited for further instructions. She wondered how many others wanted to come and play because she wouldn't mind being an alternate too much, well okay yeah it wouldn't be as much fun but if she wasn't good enough she wasn't good enough. That was that and she wouldn't complain, Miriah just wanted to see a good team out there this year for Ravenclaw so maybe they could get the Quidditch Cup or something.

Kyle made his way down to the pitch and glanced about seeing one girl waiting and Austin flying about. Grinning he slung his broom over his shoulder and wandered closer to where the balls were left waiting on the pitch.
"Chaser ... that's a tough position, think you could really handle it?" he asked her, he only meant to be teasing but typical of Kyle it came across as condescending instead. He scratched his head, still amazed that he had been given the position as Co.Captain at all but new captains seemed to be the thing this year, even Gryffindor had their own. At least he got to share the position with Austin, a fellow Brother. Boys he could talk with but any time he attempted to speak to a girl, it always came off wrong. Incredibly so!

Jeremy made his way towards the pitch slowly, giving himself every chance to turn back and forget this crazy notion of his. He had gone home for the summer and seemingly overnight grown 3 inches so that he now stood at a still small 5'5 but a much taller boy than he'd been. It still paled in comparison to his father's 6' but it still impressed him. When his father had taken a look at his gangly son, he had told him he knew just the trick to bulk him up. Quidditch! Jeremy had been skeptical about it then and still was now because he had not gained anything except a voracious appetite and even though he ate nearly as much as his dad now, not an ounce seemed to stay on his frame. Still, the sport had given the only quality time he'd spent with his dad, and even though it had only lasted for a week and was sandwiched between business meetings and his very early back to school shopping, the promise of future practice with his dad was enough motivation for him to stick with it.

Jeremy didn't have a lick of equipment with him but he knew the school broom closet had old brooms and one of those would have to do. He'd practiced on a Cleansweep for a few days and he walked with it now. Stepping onto the pitch, Jeremy stuffed his free hand in his pocket and trudged over. He recognized the captains from the brotherhood and the times he'd seen them in the common room, but he didn't know them. The girl he'd seen too. He was a lowly third year after all and these guys looked the image of cool. Still when he reached them, Jeremy held up a hand and greeted them. As he approached, he heard the girl who was already there say what position she was trying out for, so he figured he'd better do the same. "Hi. I thought I'd try out for Chaser too" he said, wondering if the captain would repeat the words he'd given the girl. Jeremy had no idea if he could handle it. Since it had been just him and his dad, there'd been no practice at positions or anything, but Chaser seemed as good as any position.

Thomas was excited to be back at school, of course, but even more so because it meant getting back to Quidditch. Playing in the garden at home with Ivan and trying to get Joceline less afraid of flying was only fun for a while. Although he had to admit that the two twins had a productive holiday from turning Joceline, someone who was completely afraid of being even two feet above the ground, to quite a decent flyer and hopefully get her on to the Quidditch team. Heading down to the pitch he saw a few people already gathered around and he had to admit that he was happy about the fact that due to being on the team before he got to keep his old position – he always hated try-outs. Walking over to Kyle and Austin he said, “Hey guys. Congrats on the Co jobs.” he said in regards to them being the new Co - Captains for the Ravenclaw Quidditch Team. “How are the new recruits shaping out?” he asked, noticing there only was two other people there.

Austin was a little worried. He frowned because he was thinking that the Ravenclaw Quidditch team would not have a full team this year either. He landed and he gave a smile to those that arrived, and he spoke to the other Ravenclaws, "Yeah, but if more don't arrive, then we will need a seeker." Austin let out a soft sigh. He hoped that Kamaria would show up and not be an alternate like she was last year. Austin then turned to the two that were not on the team before, "Chaser isn't that hard, but it can get pretty nasty, especially with some of the more aggressive players." Then, his eyes landed on the other beater, Thomas, and a fellow prefect. He thanked him for the congratulations, and he gripped his broom a little tighter than before. More Ravenclaws needed to arrive. He wondered where they all were. It made no sense for them to have intelligence but no competitive nature in them as well.

Hiria felt sick with nerves. Here she was, afraid of heights, yet she was about to try out for the Ravenclaw Quidditch Team. Well, it was a good way to try to conquer the phobia, right? Hiria walked onto the Quidditch Pitch, to see several people already there. As she reached the group, she said "Hi. I'd like to try out for Keeper. I don't mind if I'm an Alternate. But if you guys really need a Beater or a Seeker, I can try out for those too."

Margarette approached the Quidditch Pitch. Today was a try-out for the Quidditch Team and she decided to give it a shot. She arrived at the Pitch and saw a couple of Ravenclaw she was guessing who was also going to try-out for the team. "Hey guys, would it be alright if I try-out for the Seeker?" she asked and waited for everybody's reply.

"Thanks Thomas" Kyle grinned,"a bit of a mixed bag, take a look at them!"
He said it in such a way that no one could possibly take offense from it. As he looked about it seemed everyone wanted to be a chaser but it took a special kind of skill to hurdle down the pitch at break neck speed dodging bludgers and the other team while trying to score. He began to make a list however from a muggle notebook and pencil he had in his back pocket when a girl said she wanted to try out for his position. His eyes moved upwards to survey her before lowering them to the notepad again writing her down for alternate. He might need a break after all from an injury but she'd have to do damn well first at try-outs.

"Okay you lot, get over here and see if I have your names right and the position you're going to try out for. Now just coz you try out for it doesn't mean you're going to get it, just letting you lot know that from the beginning okay?" he used his most diplomatic voice though those who knew him from the Brotherhood knew he was far from a politician, a ruddy genius at the best of times perhaps.

Hiria looked at the list and said "Yup! You got my name right!" But being the slightly pedantic person she was, she got a pen from her pocket (she always carried one, and a quill and ink around) and corrected the small "b" to a capital so it looked like this "Hiria HallButcher"

Running a little more than just a tad bit late, Kamaria Zhefarovich had gotten far too caught up in a book she was reading to pay any attention to see what time it was. She had changed into her Quidditch gear, and tied her hair above her head, grabbed her broom and she raced down to the Quidditch pitch. Her sneakers pounded the grass as she made her way to the pitch to see the motley crew. She arrived and she fell on her bottom with a smile, her chest heaving up and down. She announced, her voice not quite stable yet, "Sorry guys! I'm...I'm finally here." She glanced at the co-captains, as she smiled charmingly - not that she could control just how much charm she had anyway. "Congratulations on the jobs, you two. And I might try out for just...Chaser this time around. And not be an alternate. But that is up to you guys." She gripped her broom tightly, and hoped that she got to try out this time. She did not see why not actually. When she was on the pitch with Danny, she was quite the talented flyer.

Running across the lawn towards the quidditch pitch with is broom in hand Logan was running late. This was not usual for him but he had had trouble with some of his quidditch gear as he was changing into it so it wasnt entirely his fault. Over he holidays Logan had decided to try out for the school team. His uncle ow played Professionally and Logan wanted to be like him. In quidditch anyway and maybe the Professor side of it but that was about it.
As he reached the quidditch pitch Logan stopped by his house. Panting slightly he caught his breath before talking quickly. "Hi. Logan Blackwood. Could i try out for Beater please?" He said leaning on his broom giving himself a little rest before they actually tried out for the places. He was feeling a little nervous but he tried to suppress it as it wouldn't help if his mind was distracted because he wasn't confident enough to just get on with it. If he couldn't play in front of a few then how could he do it with a whole crowd. Goo thing he was confident.

"About time you showed up, Kara, but go on ahead and try out for chaser if you want," Austin gave his cousin a smile, before he gazed over the rest. They all seemed rather young, excluding Miriah of course. Austin glanced over the list that Kyle had, and figured that they would be observing everyone from the ground. A boy showed up that was going to try out for Beater, and considering the team already had two, he may just end up as an alternate, or as the position itself. Who knew? Austin used the authority in his voice, as a prefect and now as a co-captain as well, to tell them exactly what they needed to do. With a wave of his wand and a spell, the trunk for the balls opened, and everything was set and ready to go. Austin grabbed his beater's bat, and he mounted his broom once more, and took off into the air to observe everyone.
OOCOut of Character:
All righty guys, let's get this underway! Let's see, all of you that are trying out I want you to RP this:
Chaser: RP having a quaffle, and shooting it through the North Hoops
Beater: RP with a bat, and beating the bludgers and guarding the Chasers
Keeper: RP with Kamaria Zhefarovich at the South Hoops, and guarding the hoops. Be realistic as well.
Seeker: RP catching the released snitch. There will be more than one, and also...be realistic.
If you are going for multiple positions, then you may need to post more than once. But those trying out for one position just need one decent post. The more creative, the better!

If you are already on the team from before, then go on ahead and practice your skills. Have some fun and post your reactions to those trying out.

Logan was pleased not to have been scolded fr being late. He watched as the trunk opened to reveal the quidditch balls inside. He remembered the names from his uncles lesson in the holidays. as the other boy began to fly in the air Logan took a step forward and picked up a bat. He held it in his right hand firmly before mounting his broom and slowly pushing off the floor and heading up the take his position. He waited for a moment to get his balance right before he started anything.
As the game began Logan got stuck into the action immediately. Keeping his eye on the Bludger's that were lying around. As one headed towards one of the students trying for a chaser Logan quickly leant forward on his broom and whizzed over to the student. Pulling his right arm back and swinging it at the bludger, hitting it away with the bat. Once he was sure that it had gone the opposite direction e began to fly around, making sure the chasers stayed bludger free.

Hiria put her hand out over one of the brooms that had been set out and said "UP!" For the first time, it shot straight into her hand. She mounted it thinking "Here I go!" She rose slowly into the air thinking to to herself "dont look down, don't look down, unless it's absolutely necessary." She flew at a reasonable speed towards the south hoops. She moved into position in front of the hoops. A girl who was trying out for chaser flew towards her with the Quaffle in hand. The girl threw it, aiming towards the central hoop, which luckily was where Hiria happened to be. She caught it easily. Hiria thought "Hey maybe this isn't too hard!" Hiria tossed the Quaffle back. The girl came at her with the Quaffle again, this time aiming for the right hoop. Hiria sped over to the right hoop, and stretched her arms out to catch it. She only just caught it. Hiria threw the Quaffle back. The girl came at her a last time with the Quaffle, aiming a tricky shot towards the left hoop. Hiria flew her fastest (well, as fast as she dared to go anyway) to the left hoop. The Quaffle landed in Hiria's hand, but teetered dangerously back, and fell through the hoop. "Argh!" Hiria thought. Oh well, she had tried her hardest. But the tryouts weren't over for her yet.

She flew back down to the ground, and grabbed a beaters bat that was lying there, then flew into the air again. Her job this time was to guard the chasers from getting hit by a bludger. She flew along, looking out for anyone who needed a bludger smacked away. Then, she saw one aiming straight for a boy's head! She flew over , and hoping she wouldn't miss as she'd sometimes do in muggle rounders, swung her bat as hard as she could. Luckily, the bat connected with the target and the bludger sailed away from the boy. Hiria gave him a thumbs up. She managed to smack a few more bludgers away from the other chasers, then flew to the ground again to return the bat. Just one more position she wanted to try out for. Seeker.

She flew upwards again, only just getting used to the feeling again, when she saw a golden blur, which she knew had to be the snitch. She chased after it, hand stretched out wide. She was just getting near it, when a Bludger came her way. She dodged quickly, and looked around again for the snitch. She saw it in the centre of the pitch. She flew towards it, once again stretching her hand out. She just managed to grab hold of it between her thumb and third finger, before closing her hand around it. "Yes!" Hiria thought, shaking her closed fist in triumph. She waved to her friend Margarette, whom she had met last year, who was also trying out for Seeker. Her feet touched the ground and she dismounted her broom. She returned it to the spot where she had found it and returned her snitch to one of the co-captains, and sat on the ground awaiting further instructions.

Jeremy listened to one of the captains speak after more people assembled and nodded when he saw that his name and the position he was trying for had been written correctly. He was glad to see that his roommate was also trying out and hoped that they would both make the team. As he placed the borrowed Cleansweep between his knees and readied to rise, a fantasy of what he hoped his try-out would be liked crossed his mind. In it, he was rising to hoop level quickly a quaffle in his hand as he shot towards the goals. He dodged bludgers left and right, rolling with precision and narrowly missing getting his head taken off by a close one. When he was in range, he feinted, sending the keeper off to the left as he shot towards the right goal post. Of course he made the shot.

Jolted out of it as a quaffle was nudged against his arm, Jeremy's hands fumbled as he grabbed the ball. Smooth move, he thought, apologizing to the girl and then heading into the air. Turning so he faced the North Hoops, Jeremy started off slowly, picking up speed, little by little as he grew more comfortable. He heard a bludger fly towards him, but he never saw it and he assumed that it been intercepted by one of the beaters. As he entered the scoring zone, Jeremy focused his attention on the right hoop. Although the center one was larger, it was likely to be the most defended too. He could see one of the bludgers hurtling around it, so he knew he had to be quick. Flying straight down the center, he quickly hung a right aiming for the furthest edge of the hoop. The sound of the ball hitting the metal hoop caused Jeremy to wince, but the ball fell through to the other side and he sighed with relief. Heading back towards the ground, Jeremy dodged the bludger, watching it head over his shoulder, only a few inches as he went through everything he'd done, hoping it had been good enough.

Someone spoke to her and Miriah inclined her head to look at the person. "I think I can handle it..I hope anyways." Miriah told the other male captain that spoke to her before she smiled softly and crossed her pale arms over her chest, she could only hope that today went well for her. Miriah waited patiently as others arrived and told the Captains what position they wanted to try out for. To her luck there wasn't a huge amount of people that wanted to try out for Chaser as well so she wouldn't have to worry about overworking herself just to try and impress then, she was still going to go all out though. She had a lack of sleep last night but something about being on the Quidditch Pitch gave her sudden spark of energy that she needed to keep alert. She thought of plays in her mind that she could try that might catch her some interest. Miriah knew that she was a very wasn't the most eye-drawing person when she wasn't playing Quidditch but when she was she thought she was pretty good. The ruby eyed girl couldn't wait for everyone to arrive so she could get this over with her, her nerves were starting to really bother her to the pint where she was starting to worry over nothing. Her hands were clamped tightly around her broomstick as person after person showed up. Eventually it was her for everyone to show what they had and the tryouts had officially begun. They all received their directions and Miriah make sure to let her red eyes glance in the direction of the North Hoops, which is where she needed to shoot the Quaffle into if she wanted ti make a good impression on them. When it was her turn to go she nodded her head and mounted her broomstick carefully, her hands gripping at the wood as if she were about to go on a roller coaster ride. With a mighty kick she flew herself up from the ground and straight up into the air like a bullet and the North goals in her sight as if it were nothing but her prey.

With Quaffle in hand she sped towards the hoops. A few bludgers flew in her direction and and managed to evade them both by either flying past them or flying higher so she wouldn't risk getting hit. For a moment she allowed herself to give a glare at one of the beaters for mis aiming at her but then she realized it probably wasn't their fault and continued to head towards the hoops. Her tried back hair breezed in the wind as she passed by another bludger, thankfully this one wasn't as close to her. When she was within range of the hoops she eyed the middle once since the Keeper seemed to be guarding another one. And with a mighty toss she let the Quaffle go and watched it fly towards the hoops. Unluckily it was blocked by the Keeper and tossed back into her direction. Going back to the center, Miriah caught it and stared at the ball evenly, she needed to try harder. Miriah took another attempt and speed off towards the hoops. The Quaffle was tucked under her arm this time and she thought she had a decent plan to assist her. After a moment she faked that she was going to throw it in the center again to keep the keeper in that area. But then she did a hard toss into the left hoop and smiled when she got it in. A few more attempts and Miriah managed to get it in every time except once when the Keeper got smarter and knew what she was up to with her tricks. Eventually Miriah decided a new plan was needed and just decided to try and speed past while shooting it in. It was a good attempt and when it made it in she smiled again. All those lessons she had with Aiden before her summer had gone to hell were sort of paying off.

After she did her runs, showed off her speed and how well she managed the Quaffle she landed back onto the ground and ran her fingers over the wood of the broom. She hoped she did well enough to catch their eye and smiled at the Co-captains as if to tell then that she were finished and someone else could go now. Now she could only hope she made the team, she needed some form of distraction this year.

OOCOut of Character:
Apologies for lateness- I've been away for a week.

Beth had missed every Ravenclaw Quidditch try out for the past four years, and she was going to miss this one. It was not a good start to the day, her alarm screaming its lungs out, ten minutes late. She was going to have even less time to get ready. But she could make it, right? She still had no idea what place she was going to try out for on the team. She was sure that she did not have the build of a Seeker, but that only slightly narrowed down her options. A beater would require strength.. Well, she was certainly strong and her balance was good, too. The position of Chaser, however, had a certain, inexplicable attraction and Beth found herself staring back out of the mirror at that redhead girl, imagining her in a Ravenclaw Quidditch uniform. The girl in the mirror had a broom in one hand and the quaffle in the other. She was smiling.

This mirror-world fantasy carried on for five minutes as Beth watched herself throwing the ball up in the air and catching it every time. The daydream ended when she lobbed the ball at the mirror, and, for a brief second, Beth believed her mirror self was actually going to hit her with it. Fortunately, she snapped out of her mind, long enough to glance over at the wooden clock beside her bed, which was ticking silently onward. She had ten minutes to get outside. Ten minutes to dart through the common room. Ten minutes to jump down the stairs, to run many corridors and jump many more flights of stairs. Ten minutes to wheedle her way through the traffic of students and out to the Quidditch pitch. Ten minutes. This was going to be a challenge.
Beth liked a challenge.

Apart from her slightly scruffy dress sense, she seemed perfectly ready to fly, by the time she had reached the pitch. Beth had borrowed the broom of a girl she shared a dorm with. It was not the greatest of brooms- An old Twigger 90. Still, it would serve its purpose until a replacement could be found. From the way things looked, she was several minutes late, but having caught the few words of a co-captain, she decided to begin trying out.
As a Chaser.

Beth quickly introduced herself, by the means of clear pronounciation as she mounted her broom. "Sorry I'm late.. Beth Bastone," she said, placing a leg either side of her broom. "Trying out for Chaser." She just managed to finish her sentence before her eagerness caused her broom to rise up into the air. Fortunately, she was gripping it tightly in one hand, a quaffle in the other. "Right then," she smiled to herself as she leant a small way forward on her broom, heading to the hoops she was to use for scoring, "let's get this show on the road."

Perhaps it was just luck, or maybe this girl really did have a hidden talent; whatever the case, Beth had managed to achieve a small, personal, goal- she was flying through the air on a broom, completely at ease and speeding up towards the hoops. The first attempt at throwing, was poor and the quaffle seemed to limply sail into the arms of the keeper. Beth could have called it a day right there and then. She didn't. That wasn't like her. Beth was very much like a cockroach, in that it took an awful lot to keep her down. She soldiered on through the battle that was the try outs, re-claiming the quaffle and lining up for a second attempt at scoring. This time, she did it. As she swooped in, quaffle tucked under her arm, eyes focussed on the goal straight ahead, she watched the keeper readying their hands for the catch. An easy catch. Those were the words Beth felt were probably echoing through the keepers head. Beth had other ideas. She turned her broom very suddenly, spinning the arm wielding the quaffle, to aim towards the right hoop, though her body faced the left. It was a long shot, but adrenaline took over and her arm flung the ball, sending it soaring towards the hoop. The keeper moved. The keeper swooped. The keeper was too late. The quaffle entered the hoop, spinning through with a triumphant 'whoosh'.

Beth was thrilled. This was her first goal, ever. She memorized the technique, catching the quaffle as the keeper tossed it to her. Another two goals were soon scored, each one with a different move: The first had been much alike the original goal, but with less twisting and through the central hoop. The second had been aiming for the intended goal and not shifting, though she did bluff a little by glancing over at the furthest hoop. The keeper had hesitated. Only briefly, but hesitation enough. Beth was going for the goal and she launched the quaffle, watching it add another point to the card in her mind.

The third goal was the final one before her time in the air was up. This goal, she had been particularly proud of.
As she regained possession of the quaffle, a smile pasted onto her face, she knew that the final goal would be something great, something worth it.. She just didn't know when the time would come. That time was now. She darted about on her broom, not undecided as to which goal she was going to aim for. The one that felt right was the central one. The one the keeper resided before. The one that would be most difficult, most challenging. Again, Beth smiled to herself. She had some self-belief and she felt she could do this. Right now, nothing else existed apart from her, the quaffle, the hoops, two brooms and the keeper. Her eyes had narrowed. Something spectacular, which would fill her every dream for the next two months, was just about to happen. Beth brought her broom to a halt, some distance from the hoops. A breeze played with her hair. She looked as though she meant business. She did. One minute left to go. She breathed in and out, deeply, her breath wavering slightly with the adrenaline rush. Now came the time for the final goal. She placed the quaffle under her left arm, gripping the broom with her right. She leant forwards, her heart beating in her ears. Mountains out molehills, she thought to herself, rolling her eyes with a light smile. The broom was rushing through the air and Beth's cheeks became red from the wind. The keeper did not shift. Beth did not stop. The keeper was watching. Beth's eyes were fixed upon the keeper, the hoop in the middle. Suddenly, most in-expectantly, she managed to turn and barrel roll a short way towards the hoops, the quaffle being thrown from her grasp, driving towards the hoops. Beth managed to stop herself spinning, though she now remained in one place, and clambered upright on her broom- just in time to see the puzzled keeper dive after the soaring quaffle, missing capturing it by mere centimeters.

Time was up. Beth landed her broom with surprising grace, beaming around at the others who had been trying out. Being up in the air had taken her voice from her, for a few moments, and Beth stood there in silence, happier than she had ever been before.

Margarette waited for her turn patiently. She watched as her friend, Hiria, try-out for the Seeker's position in which she was also trying-out for. When it was her turn, "Up," she commanded and her broom shot to her hand, she mounted on it and kicked from the ground. Not long before one of the co-captains released the Golden Snitch. It was fast, "Where could it be? Where could it be?" she thought until, she saw a golden blurry object near the Northern Hoop. She leaned forward and began chasing after the snitch, the snitch began flying away again. She flew faster and reached her hand. A few seconds later she waved her hand then close it, she then landed. Margarette opened her hand, she caught the Golden Snitch. She handed it to the co-captain and to her surprise the co-captain released it again for the final challenged. Margarette quickly mounted her broom and kicked off. She saw the Golden Snitch at the center of the pitch. She leaned forward and flew as fast as she could until she became nearto the snitch. She reached out and grabbed the snitch. She watched over Hiria as she landed with triumph. She again handed it to the co-captain but he did not release it and because of exhaust Margarette sat on the grass waiting for their decision.

Kamaria listened to the instructions and this time, she was given something else, and to try out with the extra keeper as well. Taking a quaffle under her arm, and mounting her broom, she soared up into the air. She went up toward the designated hoops and wanted to impress those Co-captains. She leaned forward on her broom, gaining speed before letting the quaffle fly toward the middle hoop. The quaffle looked more like a red blur, but the keeper still caught it. As the keeper threw it, Kara caught it with her hand, and brought it to her chest. She needed to get something extra in, but she wondered what tricks she had up her sleeves. A bludger zoomed by her head, and Kara ducked down. She felt the bludger just breeze through her hair, and made goosebumps prick her skin.

Wow, that was a close one! Needless to think, Kara needed to get at least one shot in. She soared toward the goals once more, and she let the Quaffle soar once more toward the hoops. Caught, once again. The keeper threw it back to Kara whom caught it with ease. She let out a soft sigh. She was going to win this, she imagined herself actually in a game against the Gryffindors. The keeper was the Gryffindor keeper, dressed in scarlet and gold hues, and Kara smirked. This would help get out her competitive side. Kara flew forward once more, and then using her muscles of her arms, she threw the quaffle, and it went in, without a doubt a perfect score. Kara pumped her arm up in the air, and she wanted to scream out 'Yeah!' but she did not. She instead caught the quaffle thrown back at her, and she lowered onto the ground to await for further instructions.
