Ravenclaw Quidditch Practice Y51/S1

When no one else went for the quaffle, Magne flew forward to grab it.

Julio continued to search but saw nothing.

Lilith wondered if the snitch had gotten tired and gone down on the ground to have a nap or something. That seemed like the most logical explanation for its absence.

When magne got close to the hoops again, he went to try to score, but failed. Missing the hoop entirely.

If Lilith concentrated reeeaally hard she could almost feel the snitch in her hand again. Alas she was just daydreaming.

It seemed as though all his luck had run out as he didn't see anything.

Lilith did not have any more luck than the other seekers.

Maggie had zoned out for a moment but was ready to focus back in on hitting bludgers.

Lilith thought the sky looked quite empty.

Even though the sky was empty, Lilith still had some hope for a catch.

Still nothing, maybe it wasn’t meant to be.

Rose was losing count again of how many people she was hitting this practice. She swung at another bludger, this time at their keeper to help the chasers, but watched in horror as it went for @Magne Kleos instead.

theodore got a hold of the quaffle when it was thrown back, doing a lap before heading towards the hoops again.

Bludgers were flying left and right, and when Lucy's body aches got too hard to ignore she made a call and blew her whistle. If she was feeling this rubbish, she could only imagine how the younger players felt. "ALRIGHT GUYS, FIVE MINUTE BREAK!" She called out, guiding the team back to the ground. Bruise salves were handed around, waters were drunk, and when they took to the sky the team looked far fresher. Lucy tossed the quaffle back to Theodore to continue his run, and blew her whistle again. "GAME ON!"

OOCOut of Character:
Bludger counters reset to 0 for everyone!

The repeated bludger hits felt like injury on top of insult as Hinemoa still couldn't find the snitch anywhere. How was a first year doing so much better than her? It was a relief when Lucy called a break and she returned to the ground with the rest of the team, resting and healing up her bruises, and when she returned to the sky it was with far more determination.

Refreshed and re-energised Lucy headed towards a bludger and swung hard, groaning as she watched her shot fly right under Lilith's broom, completely harmless.

Rose was glad for a breather although wished shed brought her own bottle of water with her. After a few minutes they were back in the sky but it was to feel the floor again for a moment.
