For Raven it had been a fact that she was going to Hogwarts. Her brother already went last year and this year it was Raven's turn. She had packed her trunk meticulously and made sure every square inch was filled with something. Oscar was sorted in Ravenclaw, but Raven had no clue which house she actually belonged in. The hat would know best, magic was a powerful thing and humans were faulty at times. Raven was excited for Hogwarts, she was patient and took her time to look around the castle. There were plenty of others students around her. Raven was good at reading faces and some looked nervous whereas others looked confident. Raven was in the middle, emotionless she was ready to hear her house. The house didn't define you as a person and for Raven it was only a short moment to know with whom she had to live with. Raven walked into the Great Hall when she was ordered by the Professor. She knew she was in luck since the first letter of her surname was in the first bit of the alphabet. She spotted a stool in the front and looked around to see the older students. She spotted her brother Oscar at the Ravenclaw table. ''Davies, Raven'' Raven looked up and walked to the chair. She had full confidence in the magical item. Magic wasn't something to take lightly off. The hat was put on her head and Raven just stared at the other students, she wasn't nervous, nor was she excited.
"While it would be fun to have a Raven in Ravenclaw and your brains would suit you to you'll fair a lot better in....Slytherin,"
