George wandered through the corridor, not really knowing where he was. He was deep in thought - he believed that his relationship with Alice was at its end. She had begun to act differently of late, and not in a good way. She kept avoiding him, they weren't together as much as they used to be, everything was going wrong. George cursed himself for being so stupidly taken in this relationship - he should have known that this moment would come sooner or later.

He stopped and knelt on the wall, waiting for Alice. He had told her to meet him here and tell him whatever she had to say. He knew it was the right decision for both of them, but he couldn't help but feel a little afraid of the outcome of their meeting.

Having been told to meet George in the third floor corridor, Alice began to find herself panicking. She didn't want their friendship to end, even though it was time for their relationship to. Finding a small fear inside of her that he would take it the wrong way, she took a deep breath and slipped out of the library. Having been putting it off for as long as possible, she stood up, packing her books in her small bag and slowly wandering to the grand staircase. Dragging her weary feet up it, she began to think back to the people she had met and trying to avoid the topic of George. She still really liked him, but only as a friend, and she had started to act weirdly - she knew that. But unsure of what to do now, she sighed and closed her eyes before pushing open the door to where she would find the person she had to disappoint. Half hoping that he wouldn't be there and she would be let off, she almost sighed to herself when she saw him. Feeling bad that she had to deliver this news, she put on a happy face and walked over, her dim footsteps announcing her arrival. "Hey." She began, her tone warm and friendly, trying to portray her feelings. Giving him a quick hug, she pulled out her wand, twirling it around in her hands as she had found she did a lot when she was worried or bothered. Hoping that George wouldn't have noticed this, she looked to the ground and waited for him to return the greeting and welcome.
