Just to get one thing clear, Zara wasn't much of a reader. But she found herself in libraries often, roaming up and down the aisles in search of very particular books. Zara held on to her brother's letter, glancing down to it every so often as she tried to search for what she wanted. Beginning of the year and her brother had already sent her a list of books that he just needed her to read. And though she much rather be outside playing quidditch or exploring the school some more, or even practicing her latest violin piece, she could most definitely put down whatever she was doing for her brother. So here she was, squinting down at her paper and trying her best to track down each listed book.

As much as she hated to admit, this was boring. Not the library itself, which was a magnificent wonder of thousands of books whizzing around, students milling about and studying in hushed whispers. It just screeched magical, as did every other part of this magnificent castle. No, the library wasn't boring, but the searching was. Some way or another she had managed to navigate herself so far throughout the library, but it was just such a nice day, and Zara just had so much left to do. But it was her brother, she reminded herself. The Gryffindor trekked on, finger brushing against the spines of the books as she made her way down an aisle. Not noticing a book that had fallen on the floor however, Zara's eyes widened as she felt her foot catch on the object, bringing her and the entirety of the book collection she was carrying in her arms down to the ground. Zara braced herself for the impact, not so afraid of falling but of the noise. She winced as she hit her elbow against a shelf, and then again as she heard her books scatter loudly the ground. "Ouchie," Zara muttered, rubbing her elbow. Looking around, she couldn't help but pout. Darn it!

There was nothing better than the smell of books as Cristian Kyle entered the library. He often thought that he would be better in a house like Ravenclaw, but it did not seem that way. The house that he was better suited for Hufflepuff. He would not complain on that. He had nothing to complain about really. Cristian made his way through the library, looking for a book that he could read that would not be educational as much as it would fuel his imagination. Then again, the magical world was basically like that anyway. Cristian looked around and dodged students and books flying around. He did not want to bother those that were busy with things like studying. He never studied himself, and did not think that he needed it, mainly because his academics were not in his list of priorities. Actually, that might be way he was not in Ravenclaw. Well, that was not too bad then. Cristian found the aisle that he was looking for, picking a mystery book for his reading beyond the school.

His eyes widened and looked around when he heard the sound of someone crashing onto the floor. He managed to find the girl, another first year but in a different house. Cristian put his book to the side, and bent down on the ground while the other one pouted. Cristian spoke in a soft tone, “Hey, are you okay?” He looked up at her as he stacked the books up, and set them to the side. She was carrying a lot. No one in their right minds would have tried to carry this many without some sort of help anyway. Cristian gave a light smile toward her, to show that he was not going to judge. Some of his family were clumsy. He was the lucky one that was not clumsy at all. But he was sure that she did not need a nurse to treat her elbow. It was not that bad.
