Vladimir had, to be honest, tried to sneak onto the commentator's podium in order to get a better view of the match with Gryffindor and Hufflepuff. When he got there, he realised that it was abandoned, and he nearly had a bird's eye view of everything around him. At first, proud and elated with his idea, he had simply chosen to watch. Then he found himself making little comments as the match wore on, and found he could see the Ravenclaw-Slytherin match as well. Right there and then, he decided to do something quite suicidal and otherwise due to his growing curiosity as to why there was no commentator. Why not fill in the spot, he asked himself?

Fidgeting with the magically enhanced podium speaker, he tried to decide for a few minutes, then finally thought of a solution; no one would blame him if he was doing a commentary - there was no one here, and you needed a commentary to keep a check on the game for the audience. Everyone knew that. Well, everyone in Bulgaria and Russia.

GRYFFINDOR VS HUFFLEPUFF

"He-hey zer audience!" The voice boomed out of the commentator's podium. I'm probably going to be killed for this. Vladimir thought blithely as he continued, trying to steady his shaky voice, and more or less rid of his Russian accent. "Right then." He continued, surprising himself somewhat with the sheer volume of his magically magnified voice. "Professor Manteia is the referee for these matches, it's a decent choice I suppose, due to his strictness and so on. Vell, first, and can I just say, vot a line-up Gryffindor has this year. I'm surprised to see Bruin Dumbledez as an alternate, honestly, because we all know the guy can play..."

He was encouraged by a bit of laughter and otherwise curious expressions as to where the speaker's voice was coming from, but most of the audience appeared to pass it off as the commentator finally arriving. "Gryffindor Team - Captain I assume? - Vanderhol is conversing with Manteia at the moment, and settling the line-up; no doubt clarifying some rules. There have been some rumors about a sexist team with only one male player because Vanderhol is leading, and suspicions of Dumbledez on alternate, but I'll honestly tell you right now they are all excellent players and any rumors are unfounded..."

He fell silent for the moment, whilst watching the Gryffindor players filing in, and the first few Hufflepuff players coming onto the Pitch. "Hufflepuff Player Kingsley is fraternizing with the enemy by the looks of it." Vladimir joked, "More conversation... More conversation... And they're off! All of them into the air! You know 'zem, you'll love 'zem once you see 'zem play! From the Gryffindor team, we have Vanderhol! Fiorelli! Kiera Kingsley! Goulding! Frost! Weasley!" Cheers erupted from the Gryffindor stands after his introduction, as he suspected. "Can I just say that the Weasley legacy of being on the Quidditch team is holding up fairly well; in addition, whilst the team line-up are all fine players, some are fine women too, if not all! For example, Mercer is one h-"

Silenced by a glare from a Professor in the stands who was no doubt trying to see who the vulgar commentator was, Vladimir cleared his throat and fell silent. "Yes, well - er - Sorry Professor." Waiting for the laughter to subside, Vladimir continued his commentary. "On the Gryffindor Reserve are Dumbledez - we all love him - and Moonlight. Meanwhile, on the Hufflepuff team - there they go, glittering through the air - Rogers! Troque! Katheryn Kingsley - look another one! I hear they're related, or at least good friends, on some account of same surnames, that is." Vladimir squinted through the commentator's podium as he continued, "More of the Hufflepuff players are taking off, look at them go, like rockets they are... Aireous! Prince! Bellamy! Wright! And Fiiiiinnigan!" Allowing the Hufflepuffs to yell out their cheers and whatnot, Vladimir took a deep breath; this was more tiring than he thought.

"Manteia's explaining the rules now, the usual, Blagging, Blatching, Blurting, they're all no-nos - every had someone pull those on you? Not pleasant." Vladimir's grinned slightly as more cheers approved of his commentary; well, he wasn't doing so bad after all. "Gryffindor's to the North hoops, and Hufflepuff, to the south hoops, whistle from the ref' vill mean zat all actions cease till he sorts things out. First games of the season, bound to 'ave some problems, eh?"

The next few words he said were drowned out when the stands erupted with thunderous roars and cheers as the game started with a loud air horn and the balls being released. "And the balls are off, shooting all over the place like bloody cannonballs... Andy' Fiorelli gets the quaffle right off the bat, there she goes, shooting off, heading to the South End of the Pitch-" The game was so damn fast it was hard to keep track of things, and instead of in-depth explanations, Vladimir found himself yelling to keep up. So this was why all the commentators at the professional matches seemed to shout out at gibbering fast voices. "Vanderhol and Kiera Kingsley are supporting Fiorelli's position - Katheryn Kingsley is tailing Fiorelli now - Fiorelli passes - And Kiera - Kiera gets it - Now Troque from the Hufflepuff team is after Kiera, look at them go, both very charming girls, catfight! Catfight! - Ulp - Sorry Professor." Vladimir gulped as the same Professor from the stands glared at him once more.

"Fiorelli goes in close to the Hufflepuff's hoops to try and support Kiera - Hufflepuff Keeper Bellamy is bracing herself - Hold on, looks like something's wrong down below ... Mike Goulding looks like he's sick ... No, no, I'm sorry folks, Goulding won't be playing today..." Before the groans from the Gryffindor stands could fully rise, Vladimir bellowed, "BUT HERE COMES DUMBLEDEZ! Look at him, he's going in to take the Gryffindor hoops now-" Once again cringing as deafening cheers hit the air, Vladimir turned his attention back to the game once more. "Weasley's coming in, looks like she's ready to mean business - Hufflepuff Seeker Wright is off, looking for the Snitch she is - And there goes Mercer, Gryffindor Seeker, flying right after Wright, she's not going to bear losing to Wright is she now? - Mercer making a lap around the Pitch, looking out for the Snitch - Kiera realizes Troque is tailing her - Passes - Fiorelli gets it - Scores at the same time, beautiful form there - Gryf- And Bellamy saves it. Well, Hufflepuff's bound to get lucky sometimes..."

Groans, jeers, cheers, from both stands, popped up and wafted about in the air; Vladimir expected it. "Gryffindor moving in to ta- No wait, Pat' Rogers gets it! There she goes, flying off, flanked by Prince - Weasly hits a bludger towards Rogers there; wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of that girl's bat. Mind, I guess both ends hurt - Fiorelli's shooting forward now, picking up speed - Rogers dodges the bludger, still going strong - Troque flanks Rogers as well - little Hufflepuff escort flying along, Fiorelli's continuing to go at breakneck speed - Dumbledez is pretty intimidating over there, doubt anything's going to get past that guy - Gryffindor's Chasers are riled up now; Vanderhol is going after Rogers to try and intercept her - Rogers spots Vanderhol - I think... Rogers drops the quaffle! - No wait, what? Oh! - It's a discreet pass to Troque! - Troque gets it - Fiorelli still shooting forward like a madman - madgirl, sorry -"

As the audience chuckled, Vladimir's eyes watered, Quidditch went fast, he knew that, but he didn't quite expect this sort of fast - this was ridiculous! Taking a deep breath, Vladimir focused his eyes on the game and continued. "Vanderhol notices the feint - Vanderhol chasing after Troque now - Aireous makes herself known, looks ready to crack a few skulls - Rogers going in close to the hoops area, looks ready for a pass, Troque passes it to Pat' Rogers - Fiorelli gets confused, doesn't intercept the pass - Prince hits a bludger out of Rogers' way - Rogers gets the quaffle - takes a shot - Dumbledez saves it! Puts quaffle back in play, Fiorelli takes possession - Prince sends a bludger at Fiorelli - Troque takes off after Fiorelli - Dumbledez yelling a warning at his team mates - Fiorelli turns - No don't turn! - Ow!"

A low groan passed over the Gryffindor stands as they realized Andromeda Fiorelli got hit. Vladimir winced, then picked up where he had left the game. "Fiorelli takes a brutal bludger to the arm by Sam Prince, drops the quaffle - Wonder if she's alright - Vanderhol flying there as fast as she can, she's not making it in time - Troque takes possession! - Weasley hitting a bludger away from her team -Gah, I hate those skullcracking buggers - Kiera Kingsley attempting to cover in Fiorelli's absence - Gryffindor alternate beater, Moonlight, is coming in - Eh? - Well - Prince now guarding Troque's flanks, Troque goes in - takes a shot - No! Feint! - Takes the real shot - Gryffindor's Kingsley coming in fast - Dumbledez going for the feint ... no, he spots the real attempt, he saves it again!"

Vladimir breathed out in relief, wiping sweat from his brow. "Right then... Dumbledez puts quaffle back in play..." Murmurs passed over the stands, relief from the Gryffindors, mostly irritation from the Hufflepuffs. Vladimir found himself wanting to join in, but a commentator was unbiased - sad; he'd have to get used to that. "Vanderhol taking possession - Dumbledez yelling encouragement by the looks of it - anyone hear what he said? Something about cats. Maybe she's catty? - Sorry Professor! - Uh - Moonlight covering his team - Wright and Mercer continuing to search for the Snitch in frustration, poor girls, game not terribly exciting for Seekers are this point, I'm sure - Prince trying to keep up with Troque - Ooh! - That's gotta hurt - Prince gets whacked by a bludger on his arm - hand - can't tell - Dumbledez is a proper threat to the Hufflepuffs, I thought he usually didn't play as Keeper? Kiera goes shooting off again, Vanderhol still in possession..."

Taking some time to rest, Vladimir thanked his common sense he remembered to get a water bottle. Taking a quick gulp of the refreshing liquid, he prepared to continue with the lightning-fast commentary.

"Katheryn Kings' on sis's tail - Hufflepuff Seeker Wright is flying off - Mercer speeds up and goes in to see what her opponent has found - Is it the Snitch? No ... False alarm. Looks like Mercer's a bit troubled now - bout' Fiorelli perhaps?" Vladimir continued, glancing at the match and observing as the best he could. "Prince looks bothered by his injury - Flies in to the west - Sends a bludger flying at Vanderhol there ... Weasley blocks it! Good save there! Rogers and Troque both go speeding in - Kiera trying to lose her sister there - Vanderhol keeps on flyin' - Flying right for the Hufflepuff hoops - Katheryn doesn't seemed deceived, keeps tracking her sister - Dumbledez looks like he's panicking there, haha!"

Chuckling to himself - then chuckling with the audience as they joined in, Vladimir rubbed his chin as the game continued. "Weasley's keeping a lookout for Vanderhol - Bellamy spots Vanderhol racing forward, braces herself - Troque starts tailing Vanderhol - All the pressure's on Katalina Vanderhol! There she goes! Says - What? Kitty what? Anyone hear that? No? - Uh - Tosses the quaffle to Kiera! Wise move there, loses the pressure - Hold it! Who saw that?"

The stands froze for a moment when the flash of gold appeared; Vladimir gaped for a moment, then blinked. "Yes folks, that was the snitch! Hufflepuff Chaser Neita Wright goes after it, but the fast little bugger only popped up momentarily in the far east and disappeared, and there it goes, Wright loses sight of it - What's going on now then? - Uh, wait a second, that's my job isn't it - Kiera gets the pass - Flies in - Shoots - Bellamy tries t- No - GRYFFINDOR SCORES!!"

The deafening ruckus that followed was nearly enough to make Vladimir reconsider commentating. Tapping his ears a few times to make sure they still worked, Vladimir cleared his throat and continued, "A fantastic shot there by Kiera Kingsley, girl's got guts, brains, a figure, what else doesn't she h - Uh, I'll keep quiet about Kiera King's assets now since Big M' is glaring at me." Vladimir Dragonski mentally reminded himself about restrictions on language used in the commentary.

RAVENCLAW VS SLYTHERIN

"We're back! And this time, we're commentating on the other match going on at this moment, Slytherin and Ravenclaw going at each other! One would normally think this is a mismatch, since we've got to let Gryffindor beat Slytherin before we give them to Ravenclaw..." More laughter from the stands, loud booing from the Slytherin stands though. Frowns from the Professor. Gulp. Well he wasn't exactly a supporter of Slytherin now was he? Being unbiased was difficult...

Vladimir squinted at the field, where the players docked out in green and blue respectively were coming to the Pitch. "Andrew Bruke, one of the Captains for the Slytherin Team is now giving a pep talk and a song ... Slytherin audience singing along ... Ravenclaw team Captain Lily Potter is going up to the big M, polite as ever - she's pretty cute too - Sorry Professor..." In the midst of laughter, both teams appeared to the equally nervous and equally excited, some players being completely neutral with their expressions. "Professor Manteia now explaining the rules ... Ravenclaw to the North Hoops, Slytherins to the South, penalties for all the usual, we know the drill don't we? And the ball's off! Rocketing into the air like a cannonball! - Bludgers zooming all over the place - Ravenclaw team takes to the air, led by their Captain! There they go!" Like glowing sapphire streaks the Ravenclaw team flashed into the air, and Vladimir strained his eyes to see who they were.

"Potter! Paramore! Centauri! Drage! Getathorn! Reine! And Kniiiiiiiiight!!" He allowed the cheers from the blue-coated stands to roar, then continued. "Alternates for Ravenclaw, Kasey, Smith, Porter, and Taylor... Slytherin team going up in the air, look at 'em go, Bruke in the lead, followed closely by Bella' Chaos ... Rest of the team coming up! Lee! Snow! Addison! Ater! Aaaaand Sterling Stanton, replacing the absent Lurken!" A chorus of sickening cries from the Slytherin stands drowned out his voice. "Alternates are!" Vladimir found himself yelling, despite his magically magnified voice due to the podium speaker. "Stark! Koshiba! Sedgwick!"

While the cheers went on, Vladimir quickly immersed himself in the game so he understood what was going on. "Potter gets the release of the quaffle, goes flying South - Drage takes her position by the hoops - One of the Ravenclaw players appear to be missing, so alternate player Smith is up there, circling the Pitch, looking nervous - I would be if I was playing against Slytherin, mid-air underwear-over-your-head stunts maybe? Not something they wouldn't do..."

More laughter, and encouraging jeers from the Slytherin stands. Odd crowd. "Slytherin Seeker Stanton wastes no time in getting airborne - Potter still flying, look at her go, look at that figure - Sorry! Sorry Professor!" Getting told off via demeaning glare from a professor in the stands for the umpteenth time, Vladimir Dragonski wiped sweat off his brow for multiple reasons. "Slytherin Keeper flies up to her position by the hoops, Addison's looking fine today, fine form, fine - Wasn't going to say anything professor! Honest! - Uh - Ravenclaw Alternate, Porter, flying up there too - Are there so many Ravenclaw players missing right at the start? Buried in their books, no doubt." Laughter from the crowd as Vladimir continued. "Chaos is going for the North Hoops - Snow is up in the air, bat in hand, ready to sent those bludgers at the Ravenclaws; in fact, he just did, Bludger headed Potter's way - Knight stops it - Lee's off in the air, following Lily's progress - Taylor, another Ravenclaw alternate it seems, going up in the air to provide support - Potter keeps going, she shoots! - Lee flies in, intercepts the scoring attempt - Flying off with the quaffle now, Slytherin in possession - Chaos turns back, now supporting Lee - Porter's up in the air, holding her position - lots of main Ravenclaw players missing today, what's with the alternates? - Ravenclaw Seeker Getathorn goes up like a rocket, keeps an eye out for the Snitch - Lee passes to Chaos - No wait, he still has it - Vot, no! - It's really with Chaos! -"

He was cut off as a shrill whistle pierced the air and deafened him temporarily. "Looks like we have a double foul on accounts of Stooging folks, no more than one Chaser can be in the scoring area at once - Looks like Lee botched that one. Shame that; quaffle put back into play... Chaos gets the quaffle, Slytherin in possession again - Lee looks peeved - Doesn't show it - Flanks Chaos while she goes in for the kill - Drage braces for impact - Wait - Potter flies in! She slices right in between Lee and Chaos! Steals the quaffle! Ravenclaw in possession! Slytherin Chaser Andrew Bruke flies in, flying close to Lily, looks ready to intercept any attempts to pass - Lily keeps flying, Ravenclaw still in possession - Ravenclaw alternate Chaser Kasey cuts in to block Bruke - Snow sends a bludger at Lily - Bruke takes advantage of the confusion, steals the quaffle - Slytherin in possession - Smith sends a bludger at Bruke - Snow flies in, saved Bruke's hide there - Vait! - Hold ze game - Potter called for the referee - Manteia's coming up again, hey Big 'M!"

Vladimir waited, drumming his fingers on the podium desk whilst Manteia cleared up some issues. "Well ... Ravenclaw appeared to have one too many Chasers! Taylor goes off so Kasey can take his place as official alternate... Hmm ... Okay, looks like Bruke's quafflesteal wasn't entirely legal - Well vot do you expect from the Slytherins?" As laughter broke out amongst the stands, Vladimir grinned to himself and continued. "Lee takes off after Potter again - Taylor leaves the game due to migraine, bad headache there, Kasey takes his place - Ginny Porter flies down low, tries to distract the Slytherins by shouldering 'zem - Lee dodges past her - Keeps going - Bruke moving fast, looking buggered - Chaos watching the Pitch carefully - Looks like the Slytherins are alternating beaters - Lily flies in to the hoops, shoots - Addison doesn't see it in time - RAVENCLAW SCORE!!"

The applause and whoops, followed by deafening cheers from the Ravenclaw stands caused Vladimir to stumble in shock as the scores switched to show 10 to 0 in Ravenclaw's favor. "Kasey gets the quaffle quickly - Passes to Lily - Bruke intercepts the pass attempt - Porter tracking the quaffle, hot on Bruke's tail - Lee flies in - Hey!" The crowd yelled, a mix of cheers, jeers, and angry protest as Lee flew in and air tackled Porter. "That is surely a foul." Vladimir found himself protesting, wondering why the Professor wasn't blowing the whistle. "It seems like Lee was following the rules as a Quidditch Player!" Vladimir announced after he figured it out, perplexed. "It seems like an ... 'accident'. Hn..." With one side of the crowd supporting the so-called 'legal' foul and the other side yelling for Lee to be sent off, Vladimir found himself agreeing with the blues, but there was nothing to be done.

Vladimir bit his lip, shook his head a few times, then continued with his commentary. "Okay so Bruke's flying down now, without interference - Passes to Lee - Potter races to intercept - Doesn't make it - Porter flies in, snatches the quaffle out of the air - Lee fails to get it, flies the other way - Starts patrolling the area - Addison's bracing herself - Drage looks ready to defend the hoops as well - Porter passes to Potter at close proximity - Have to get my tongue around that - Lily gets the pass - Lee flies towards Porter again - Porter brakes - Lee slows down so as not to crash into her, stopped from reaching Potter - Potter flies for the hoops - Shoots - Ravenclaw Sc- No, Addison saves it - Puts quaffle back in play by passing to Bruke - Carla intercepts it while risking a bludger flying for her - Passes to Potter - Bruke flies in and intercepts once more - Quaffle changing possession from player to player like a hot potato now - Porter flies in, saves Carla from getting mauled by that bludger - Suffers a bit of a hit there herself - Goes racing after the quaffle, starts to pressurize Bruke there - Potter flies in as well, lot of pressure on Bruke now - Smith doesn't look like he's able to keep up with the insane speed at which this match is going at - Flies East - Sedgwick alternates as beater for the Slytherins, stops a bludger hitting Andrew-"

Ducking as a stray Bludger came rocketing towards the commentator's podium when Sedgwick deflected it, Vladimir swore loudly. Once he was sure no Bludgers were going to break his jaw, he peeked out of his hiding spot under the commentator's table, cleared his throat, and continued. "That was close ... Uh - Smith flying in now - Bruke feels the pressure - Passes - Snow flies in as fast as he can to dissuade any Ravenclaws meaning to intercept - Porter snatches the quaffle quickly - Sedgwick sends a bludger at her - Drage cheering loudly over at the hoops - Go girl! - Porter dodges the bludger - Snow sends yet another bludger at her, whoa, it's like the girls under a cannonade - Smith flies in, whacks the bludger away - Porter's coming in hot! She's close! She's there! She Shoots! - RAVENCLAW SCORES ONCE AGAIN!"

More cheers erupted from the blue-coated stands while groans from the green hit the air, Vladimir found himself positively bouncing up and down in excitement. This game was alot faster than the one with Gryffindor against Hufflepuff; Since both Gryffindor and Hufflepuff were determined to play fair while furious, their game was obviously going to look slow compared to the Slytherins and Ravenclaws, who, true to their reputations, were giving the audience a match of something like cunning versus smart. Pulling every trick out of their sleeves while repeatedly trying to outflank their opponents. Vladimir shook his head in bewildered amazement. "Twenty to zero in Ravenclaw's favor! Slytherin best catch up!" Vladimir yelled, leaning forward so he could watch the match properly; he prided himself on his sharp eyesight, but this was something else. "Lee - Oh the bugger - Lee rams into Potter - Snatches the quaffle out of the air while he tackles her - Bruke flies in fast to support his team mate - Porter steals the quaffle from Lee - What a wildcat! Think she'd go out wi - Whoops - Sorry Professor! - Uhm - Chaos flies in to support her team - Lee swearing spectacularly there! Wonder what language it is; flies in like a thunderbolt to try and tail Porter - Hold on, the guy's flying right past her - What th-"

Abuse was roared from the Ravenclaw stands at Lee's increasingly violent and somewhat tactical gameplay. "Oh that son of a b-" Vladimir stopped himself before the Professor murdered him with a killer glare. "How is that not a foul? What?! The rule-abusing little git!" The Professor in the stands turned beetroot in the face. "Sorry Professor." Vladimir added hastily, "So after that disgusting, conniving, bloody evil bit of cheating-" The Professor wagged a finger at him warningly from the stands. "Oh - Okay, fine! Lee nearly kills the Ravenclaw Chaser by pulling her robes and making her nearly fall off her broomstick and crash down to the earth in a horrible death, which I'm sure could happen to anyone - Porter loses the quaffle, struggling to get back up on her broomstick there - Knight sends a well deserved bludger at Lee - Chaos grabs the quaffle as soon as Porter loses it, flies off - Lee has a bludger scrape his leg through Knight's valiant attempts - Good work! - Uh - Sorry Prof - Lee weaving in and out of his fellow players - Bruke flying in to support Chaos - Kasey Carla starts screaming at Lee for his devious attempts - Chaos goes - No - Feints - Passes to Bruke - Porter recovers, goes racing after Lee to try and stop him supporting his team - Lee starts guarding Carla's rear - Distracts Porter - Grabs the quaffle - switches positions with Chaos - What the - How fast is that little ...?"

The truth was, despite all their cunning and foul play, the Slytherin team's Chasers were absurdly synchronized; he sincerely hoped the Ravenclaw beaters sent more bludgers at Lee. "Slytherin in possession - Knight sends another bludger at Lee - Chaos flying off fast, probably for team support - Bruke warning Lee about Knight I think - Lee dodges - Sends the bludger flying at Porter instead - Porter barely manages to dodge it - Cunning little snake! - Sorry Prof - Lee keeps going - Carla tails Chaos for good reason - Referee is warning Lee about his continued sneaky little - Uh - Stunts - Chaos continues to fly like a hawk up in the air - Lee flies down low - Passes to Chaos - goes flying off in the other direction - Other direction? Wait a minute - No - Lee's still got the quaffle! - Porter starts tailing Lee - Bruke flies in quickly to support Lee - Porter flies in between them in the hopes Lee passes - Lee flying all over the place - Flies straight for the hoops - He's going straight in to score - Sedgwick flies in to support her team - Carla starts tailing Lee - Bruke holds his position - Looks like everyone's going for Lee now, hopefully they'll catch him and - Oh, uh - Lee mocking the Ravenclaw Chasers - Flies right through the hoops area - Going in to score - No one's able to follow him now unless they want to risk Stooging - Darn - Porter stops by the border, looking puzzled - Bruke shooting forward - Carla guarding the border - Lee's gaining speed, flying up - Why is he flying up...?"

The next series of moves were so erratic Vladimir didn't even understand what happened for half the time. Then he understood. "Lee goes in to score - No - Feints! - Doesn't! - Flies back out in an arc like a loose arrow - passes to Andrew - I think - Keeps flying - What t- Brakes in front of Porter - Oh, dammit! - Porter's going to collide! Ravenclaw foul- No wait! Fantastic save there by Porter! Bloody fantastic! Jumped right over Lee and landed on her broomstick again! Wait a minute. Hold on, where's Bruke-?" Vladimir barely noticed it, and when he did, he blinked, and blankly said into the speakers. "Wha ... Uh ..." He paused, then stared at the Pitch for confirmation. "Drage ... Drage saves it - No ... Drage goes to save Lee's feint - Doesn't see Bruke - Damn - SLYTHERIN SCORE!"

Disheartening jeers and hoarse cries from the Slytherin stands was sickening, to say the least. "Twenty to Ten in Ravenclaw's favor - Potter fetches the quaffle from afar - Porter takes off after Lily Potter to support her - Lee flies in - Pulls the same robe-yanking move he did on Porter - This time on Potter - Potter nearly falls for it - Saves herself - Porter flies down the field - Lee's signaling at his team beater there - Potter passes to Porter - Sedgwick sends a bludger at Ginny Porter - Potter flies in to take it - Ouch, bet that hurt ... Potter gets the pass - Flies further - Lee's still going after them - Potter guards against him for Ginny Porter - Sedgwick sends a bludger at Potter - Porter tries to distract Addison - Shoots - RAVENCLAW SCORES!!"

Breathing out, waiting with bated breath as the quaffle switched possession again, Vladimir wondered how these guys were going to keep up this pace.

"Game recommencing at the usual breakneck speed - You all better get used to this." Vladimir pointed out to the audience below. "Um - Lily Potter flying low - Snow sends a bludger at her - What a barricade by the Slytherin team, vicious as ever - Lily Potter dodges that though - Ginny Porter flies in, not realizing her team mate managed to duck - Defends valiantly - Get out of the way girl! - Owch!" A low moan passed over the blue stands as Porter was knocked out by the bludger she had attempted to take for her team mate.

Vladimir winced at the increasing violence and injuries. "That's gotta hurt. Brave ol' Porter is escorted out - Ravenclaw replacement, Kailey Paramore, is now flying in - Slytherin beaters send bludger after bludger at Potter - And a spectacular save by Knight, who flies in and whacks the bludger away from his cap'n and right back at Snow!" Vladimir paused as a blur of colors flashed past the podium at high speed. "Lee looks pleased with Porter being downed, flies in fast, tries to yank Paramore out of control, Paramore stays on her broom, thankfully - Stupid Git - Uh - Lee takes possession of the quaffle - Ravenclaw Seeker Getathorn repositions himself, wonder if he saw the snitch? - I think Paramore is swearing at Lee and taking off after him! - Bruke coming in like a lightning bolt to try and support Lee, whose continuing to speed forward - Potter swiftly flies in to intercept Lee - Carla following suit - Go girls, knock the brat off his - Ahem - Paramore, Potter, Carla, all tracking Lee! - Carla brakes in front of 'im to stop ze progress! - Bruke distracting Carla - Carla falls for it, tailing Andrew now - Lee continuing on like a rocket - A slimy, slimy rocket - Passes to Bruke - No - Feint - Continues flying, blocks a Ravenclaw Chaser - Bruke flying other way - Was that a feint or not? - Can't tell who has the quaffle - Potter goes in - Flies after Lee - Lee's got the quaffle! - Slytherin in possession! Lee grabbing ... Lee grabbing Potter's robes and sending her at Paramore! Bending the rules again, the little..." Sometimes Vladimir wondered if Lee never got tired, or never got bored of trying to kill the other players. Fortunately, Estrella Drage looked like she was ready to mean business.

"Drage in position! Drage ready to take anything Lee sends her way! - Potter avoids the collision planned, flies after Lee again - Grabs the bugger's robes! Sends him flying out of control! - Good work on part of the Ravenclaw Captain! - Getathorn comes in fast, sees the Snitch - No, no snitch - Goes right in - Looks like he's going to crash right into Lee - Lee flying out of the way - Danger for the Ravenclaw team, Getathorn and Potter about to crash - Both fly smoothly out of harm! There goes Slytherin's plan! - Chaos yelling a warning at Lee, mid-air lecture there! - Lee continues to fly - Flying, flying - Crashing? - Feint! - Shoots! - Drage saves it!! Excellent work by the Ravenclaw Keeper."

Vladimir glanced at the stands, where the Slytherins looked like they were completely passive - or otherwise fuming quietly. Tense confrontation there. "Ravenclaw team ecstatic! Cheering loudly for their Keeper! Carla takes possession! Bruke flies in - Distracts Carla - Gets the quaffle - Flies in - Tries to score again - What a bloody barrage of score attempts there! Can the Ravenclaw Keeper take it?! - All players scattering now! Flying to the action desperately! - But no worries Ravenclaw, because Drage saves it again! Recovering quickly after her initial slip-up that allowed Slytherin to get a single one in! Superb performance! - Slytherin Beater Snow goes shooting in like a hawk - Gets hit by a bludger sent by Smith! - Good work Smith - Potter takes possession - Got to love her! - Ravenclaw Ace Potter is shooting towards the other end of the Pitch now, Carla flanking her team mate - Sedgwick sends a bludger at Potter - Smith blocks it - Smith getting prominent now! Great effort - Potter keeps up the speed - Bruke tailing Potter - Carla and Potter continuing to fly with perfect unity - Bruke brakes in front of them - Chaos tailing Carla - Chaser to Chaser battle in the air - Potter taking evasive maneuvers - Getathorn and Paramore flying in to stop Bruke - Not much of a Seeker at the moment, Getathorn, excellent team player though! - Snow sends a big one at Paramore - What a game, what a mess!" Catcalls, cheers, yells, the like, were drowning out his voice by now.

Shouting over the volume of the crowd into the podium speakers, Vladimir was about to continue, but a flash of gold made him halt abruptly. He squinted, certain the Snitch had been right - there! - Then it was gone, without either team's seeker making it there on time. Vladimir whistled; "Glimpse of the Golden Snitch there, gone right after it appeared though - Paramore gets hit on the foot due to Snow's attempts, that's going to hurt, but it looks like her efforts weren't in vain! - Potter takes advantage of the confusion - Addison doesn't make it on time again - Shoots -"

There was another deafening, shrill whistle by the referee, causing Vladimir to stagger. He tried to decipher the situation, and managed to get the gist of what was happening. "Looks like Lee committed a foul by flying right into the scoring area and breaking the stooging rule for the second time this match in order to block the quaffle - Ravenclaw is given an automatic ten points for Lee's illegal attempts, pretty obvious he knew the rules and was committing a foul on purpose, brave, shame it didn't work, looks like it didn't turn out the way he planned..." Massive jeers and furious booing from the Ravenclaw stands made Vladimir pause, then continued, "Chaos looks furious, warning Lee now, I may be labeled a traitor for admiring other team players, but Chaos, in my opinion, is actually quite the devilishly charming, glam - Right, sorry, back to the game, sorry Professor - Chaos takes possession - Lee doesn't seem particularly upset about the ruling at all, Lee flanking Chaos, Slytherin in possesion!"

He set down the mic temporarily and took a quick drink of water, then drummed his fingers and resumed his position with ill-hidden excitement.
