[name] Proserpina Kali Laurent
[etymology] The first name Proserpina meands goddess of the underworld. It has the impression of a proper, elegant woman. The middle name Kali means energy and it has the impression of an energetic and playful girl. The last name Laurent means wreathed or crowned with laurel. The last name comes from France. The first name, although the meaning and the impression does not suit her, her middle name says it all. The name as a whole is a hit and miss, though it is possible she can become proper.
[origin] The origin of the surname Laurent comes from France, from a line of wizarding families. While the Laurent branch is not really common, it is also dying down because it was once a line of Aurors and healers. Proserpina does not know too much thanks to her mother being killed by the Death Eaters. The Laurent family are a small branch, but they are known to be extremely nice and caring, as well as brave. They were known to helping others.
[nicknames] Proserpina has several nicknames that her sister and father call her in order to shorten her long name. Some of the nicknames include Poppy, Pina and Sina. All of which she does answer to.
[alliance] Her alliance is on the side of good, seeing as the bad people leave her frightened and scared.
[birthdate] Proserpina was born on September 9th, 2016, in a hospital. She was the second one born, just minutes after her twin sister Philippa Heaven.
[age] She is currently eighteen-years-old.
[gender] Proserpina is a female.
[sexual orientation] Heterosexual which means that Proserpina is attracted only to the opposite sex, which is males. She does not have much of an interest in females and thinks that they are not as admiring as males are. When it comes down to choosing whether she is attracted to aesthetics or personality, it is personality. Proserpina wants someone that knows how to have fun as much as she does, and someone that is relatively nice.
[dialects] Proserpina is fluent in two languages, one of them being French and the other one is English, which she mastered by the time she was nine-years-old.
[hometown] Proserpina and her sister Philippa were born in Villiers-Le-Bel, France in a good sized home. Even after their mother was killed, the two stayed in the same house, and was raised there most of their lives. However they traveled constantly because of their father's job.
[residency] They current live in Invercargill, New Zealand in a rather nice house. The house is relatively simple but nice, and Proserpina can spend hours on top of the roof even if her father hates it when she is up there. She lives with Jerard Proulx and Allete Proulx.
[heritage] Because Proserpina's parents are both French, it makes herself completely French.
[blood status] Proserpina is a half-blood because her mother was a mixed-blood witch, and her father was a muggle. Her magical heritage is split in half. She doesn't mind where she comes from, and has pride in it as well.
[blood type] Proserpina has the blood type of O positive. She plans on donating some blood when she is older. There is a belief in Japan that a blood type would give someone good traits and bad. The good traits are agreeable, sociable, an optimist while the bad traits are vain, careless, ruthless, cruel. The bad traits are not to her character, but the good traits are.

Lignum Vitae, the tree of life, is well known for its medicinal qualities and the ability to cure most any aliment. This make it perfect for protection and healing charms. The overall energy of the wood can be summed up as the power and strength of goodness. It is almost perfect for those with a love of handy charms as well. [personality] Proserpina is a gifted young witch whom is destined to be something great so her father and step-mother says. She is generous and loving, as well as hyper and active. She will do anything for a friend, and is often humble. She is the perfect, well-behaved princess that does all she can to stay out of trouble. She believes in honesty over everything else, and good things come to those that earn it through hard work. Her personality is something bright, as she is a bright girl, that could be related to the sun. She is also very adventurous, but her loyalty to her friends and her hard-working put her into Hufflepuff.

[fears] Like a normal girl, Proserpina has the most basic of fears, such as fear of bugs, spiders, clowns, crabs and storms. After she lost her mother, she is also afraid of being abandoned.
[likes] There are several things that Proserpina likes to go swimming out into lakes, oceans, just any sort of body of water that looks appeasing. If the water looks dirty, then she will not go swimming. Proserpina loves to go out into the sun and get a good tan. The sun and the warmth from the sun, she loves it. She loves to read outside as well. Another thing that Proserpina likes to do is learning about things, and using magic. She also loves to carve things out of wood, and hang out with people.
[dislikes] There are a lot of things that Proserpina dislikes, but most are not very well known. She hates it when someone is being very lazy, and not doing things with their lives. She does not like it when things are boring, and she absolutely hates not being accepted for things like hanging out with people and no one wants her. She does not like being kept in the dark about things, and she absolutely hates secrets.

[strengths] Proserpina has many strengths but none of them can measure to her sporting attitude, and her love for learning and reading. She is wise in everything muggle, and knows how they act. She is also going to be very strong in her knowledge of charms and defence against the dark arts. She is musically talented however she can only name songs and song writers rather than play them. She can take an insult easily, and will often look over the sourness of others with a positive attitude and a bright smile. She is also a lot more sly than she appears.
[weaknesses] Poor Proserpina and her twin sister have been ignorant about the magical world, and she knows little to nothing about the history of the magical world. She also has a big heart, and easy to forgive. She will often let others get by with things that they should not when it comes to her. Her honesty will also be a weakness because she will say things how they are. She is very hard working, but she would work hard for others and ignore her own studies to help out another, no matter what they needed help with.

[magical talents] Her magical talents seem to be quite brilliant, and she seems to be very talented in Charms and Defence Against the Dark Arts. As she aged, she proved to be a very quick learner to the craft, and she proved her colors when she continued to make good grades, and has a talent for Arithmancy as well.
[other talents] Proserpina has other talents that don't tie in with magic. She seems to be good at carving things into little animals and other toys. She also has a talent of naming music, especially the genre and who sang it. She also has a talent to tending to animals and also to other people. She can also eat a whole bowl of sweets in one setting.

[annoyances] There are several things that will get on Proserpina's nerves. One thing that will be quick to get her annoyed are snobs, and also those that seem to be extremely lazy. This was the most amazing day in this little girl's life! Born on September the ninth, she was one of the oldest to walk these Great Halls, but did she care? No! She stood with her older identical twin, almost bouncing up and down in excitement. Only months ago did she discover that she was a witch, having blow up a vase by accident. Proserpina just hoped that it would never happen again because that not only scared her father half to death though he was aware of the magical world because the magical blood ran through their mother. Proserpina glanced over at her twin, knowing that she would be called first and sorted. Oh this day, she felt like her stomach was flapping away like someone opened a jar of butterflies open in her abdomen. She could just fly away at any moment, and well, not many here would find that odd at all. Biting her lip, she thought that sorting just lasted too long.
Half-blood or not, she needed to be with her classmates, and though she was impatient, she knew so much better than to act like that. Proserpina let out another sigh, and she turned to her twin and smiled, showing all of her white teeth because she was just too excited to keep it in. She was a hyper little witch, and this meant that she could have a wand and everything. And see how the wizarding world functioned. She sort of missed the ocean though, the waves hitting the boat while traveling, or even the food service that one received in airplanes. How many of this students did not know about the muggle things that her and her sister were so acquainted with? Proserpina smiled once more, as the Deputy Headmistress was getting down closer and closer to the 'L' names. Oh she could feel the excitement running through every limb, even her toes.
"Laurent, Proserpina!" Oh no, she missed her sister getting sorted! She felt so bad too. Strolling up through the crowd of first years, Proserpina approached the stool with uncertainty. Wow, she was going to be sorted with a talking hat, how amazing! Proserpina sat down on the stool and felt the hat upon her head. 'Okay, so I am knew to this, can you read my mind and stuff? And awesome song you got there! Is it the same every month? Oh, um, guess I should let you do your job then huh?' thought Proserpina with a small laugh. Proserpina closed her eyes and she prayed that she was in the right house, which she held no doubts to the hat. But the hat may know more than she ever would. So, Proserpina could just sit there and wait for the judgment while all eyes were on her, and boy was she loving the attention.
"I don't get to sing for the school every month. But don't worry about me. Go join HUFFLEPUFF!"
