[Style:] Jonathan is a very clean cut kind of guy. He prefers suits and ties over robes but would wear a plain black one at school. Outside of school he would stick to a pair of jeans or casual black trousers with a nice shirt/jumper/jacket.

[A Little Deeper
[Personality:] Jonathan is a smart, committed, patient, compassionate and very well organised person. It's these qualities that make him want to be a Professor so badly. Apart from these qualities he is a very well laid back sort of person. He enjoys having a good times and has a great sense of humour.

[History:] Jonathan was brought up in the middle of all the hustle and bustle of Birmingham. He wasn't a very spoilt child, but in saying that he never went without, his family was fairly wealthy. From a young age he was interested in all things history, be it muggle, magical, you name it, he knew it all, or tried his damned hardest too

In saying this he wasn't a complete bookworm; he was a fairly popular child in his private school which his parents sent him too for budding wizards. It was here that his interest for history, especially muggle, was born. During a lot of his childhood summers he would join his family of archaeological digs all over the world. He got visit many interesting places such as Mongolia, Greece, Rome, Egypt, China and many others.

At age 10 Jonathan set off to Hogwarts and he was sorted into Ravenclaw. His house was always going to be a mystery to him but he was happy with the hats choice. He was pretty much a typical Ravenclaw, always excelled in classes, extra-curricular activities and all that jazz. He was popular person, with boys and girls and the Professors all seemed to tolerate him too. He was a member of various clubs and played seeker for the Ravenclaw Quidditch Team; leading them to victory quite a few times.

After Hogwarts he was always expected to follow in his fathers footsteps of being an Auror, and not that he couldn't have been, but the aspect never interested him much. He considered a teaching job but the opportunity never came round and after a few years of doing pretty much nothing, apart from a few part-time jobs in Diagon Alley he decided to join on of the Archaeological teams that he worked with when he was younger. He travelled the world for many years, returning home every so often.

On one trip to New Zealand he decided to stay behind after the team left to their next destination, there was something about the place that made him want to stay over all other places that he visited. When he found the magical community and discovered the new branch of Hogwarts open his dream of becoming a Professor relit and after some enquiry at the school he found out about the opening of a History of Magic Professor for the younger years. He immediately put in his application and was overjoyed when he found out he got the position and would be taking it up after the holidays. He returned home to England to spend Christmas and New Years with his family and a few days before term recommenced he returned to New Zealand to start his new life.

A few years into his job, Jonathan had a new colleague in the form of his first love and long term girlfriend from school, Lumina Sangora. They had only broke up after school ended as they both wanted to go down different paths. One day Lumina visited his office in a shaken state. She revealed to him that not long after they had broke up all those years ago Lumina had gave birth to their son but gave him up due to her young age. Having not had any other children since Jonathan very much wanted to make contact with him which he did at his earliest convenience after being told about his existence. It was just his luck that his son was part of a travelling circus and was in Brightstone that weekend. The two talked everything out and made a mends and remain in contact to this day.
