Crispin went down the steep hill to the Quidditch Pitch, his Firebolt thrown over his shoulder. He hoped to sell it soon and get an Emerald Streak but wanted to get some practice in before the game Saturday. He wasn't sure if he'd be an alternate or get to play yet. His feet sunk into the green grass of the pitch and he mounted his broom and took off into the air.

With Saturdays game approaching quickly, Kale thought it would be a wise decision to head out to the quidditch pitch to get some extra training in. Even though Estrella was in Ravenclaw, he wasn't going to go any easier on her team than he would with Gryffindor or Hufflepuff. He just hoped to Merlin that he would finally get some game time in and not have another forfeited match.

Kale walked into the grassy area with his brand new Emerald Streak draped over his shoulder, his beaters bat in one hand and his box with a bludger in the other, he didn't noticed Crispin in the air until a few moments after entering the pitch, "Hey Crispin! Hows the weather up there?!" he shouted up to him with a smirk on his face.

"Cold!" Crispin shouted down while laughing. His gloveless fingers were numb but they helped him grip the broom better. "Getting ready for the game?"

Kale pulled his zipper on his hoodie up, the chilly breeze made the tip of his nose and cheeks a bright pink color, but he enjoyed flying so much he could just ignore the gross weather. "That's what I was planning on!" Kale held up his beaters bat in the air and swung it around like as if he were playing baseball; even though he didn't have a clue what sport that was. "You up for some practice?" he inquired loudly for him to hear up above, not really how and what they practiced just as long as he was up in the air.

Crispin watched Kale expertly swing the beaters bat. He was glad they were on the same team and he didn't have to have a bludger hit his way by him. "Sure! Wouldn't be out here freezing if I weren't up for some action!"

"Sweet. Action you say?--" Kale smirked while quickly tossing his bat up to Crispin, unsure of whether or not he would catch it; afterall having good hand eye coordination was an important part of being beater.
"How would you like to try your hand at beater?" he continued while reaching for his bag and taking out another one of his bats.

Crispin deftly caught the bat tossed up to him. His long fingers clutched it eagerly. He hadn't gotten to try the Beater position yet but it was the one he longed to play. "Let's go!" he called down eagerly.

"Nice catch!" Kale called out as Crispin caught the bat when he was getting his bat out from his pack, thanks to his recent purchase of his quiddicth set he had another bat aside from his old one. Quickly, he shuffled back over to his small chest that had one bludger strapped inside and set it free. "Lets see what you've got!" Kale shouted with enthusiasm while mounting his Emerald Streak as the bludger barrelled into the sky.
