Josefina San Buenaventura has been told by her mother numerous times that she should be more like her younger sister, Bituin. Bituin was a very nice girl herself and Josefina had no problem with her younger sister. It was everyone else she found a fault in. This caused her to seem to have a bad attitude but she didn't think it was that apparent. However the young girl knew she was conniving and always got what she wanted. Bituin was always the one to give it her too, besides the times when the younger sister was just as stubborn as the first. When she first came into the school she hadn't understood what it meant to be in each house. However being the bookworm she was she read the History of Hogwarts to learn more about the school. She honestly thought she should have been in Ravenclaw instead of her sister who was not a fan of reading at all. However she read that Slytherin's had Leadership Qualities, Self-Preservation, Detremination, and Intelligence. All of which she had and were the strongest things about her.

Josefina walked along the corridors of the lowest part of the castle. Her own house was down here and apparaently so were the kitchens. The young girl hadn't gained much information on how to get to them from the Common Room. However she figured walking around she would find were she wanted to go. She had missed the last meal and someone had told her that she could just go down to the Kitchen and get some food from the House Elves. Walking around she finally found a painting done of a Bowl of Fruit. She was told to tickle the pear in the picture but she didn't understand why she had to do something so weird. Reaching up she 'tickled' the pear and suddenly it started to giggle and squirm in the painting and it suddenly became a doorknob. Stepping back she looked at the green door knob coming from the painting unsure if she actually wanted to use it or not.

Rose was once again relaxing in the common room.It really was her favorite place in the castle. It was so warm and comforting. It was just a very nice room.Warm colors, comfy chairs and lovely big fire.It was perfect for the ocld weather though th weather was improving as the days went by.She was looking forward to classes, she wanted to learn all she could about magic. She wanted to make up for all the years she hadn't been learning when she should have.A lot of kids would have grown up around magic,Rose should have been one of those kids but life hadn't gone that way for her.Instead she had grown up like any muggle-born.She didn't really care about blood-status.They were just words in her mind. She didn't think she was any better then anyone else just because of her blood-status.The only reason she knew about any of this was because her papa had wrote a lot about his views on the matter. One day when she had been routing around the house she had found them. That had been one of the only things she had known about the magical world. But then she had gone to Lucie who in turn had collected all her Papa's books in his study and had given them to Rose who had read every single one of them.Eager to learn all she could.

After a while of just sitting there thinking, she heard her stomach rumble. She bit her lip,she wasn't sure if you were allowed go down to the kitchen. But she would try it anyway. It was a long way down but there was no food up here and it was another while before dinner. So Rose got off the couch and made her way down to the kitchen. She walked down the many flights of stairs, looking at all the pictures as she did so.It was amazing the way they moved and talked. So much more interesting then normal pictures. There were quite a few students about.More people had arrived, classes were starting tomorrow. She felt so small compared to everyone else. She was smaller then average. It was a nuisance because she was a first year which made her one of the smallest years in the school and she was also smaller then a lot of first years making it harder to see around the school because everybody was in the way.She was pushed around a lot too. Finally she was down in the dungeons and unlike other parts of the school,it was quiet down here. There weren't crowds of people everywhere. It was nice actually and Rose felt as if she could breath again. She made her way to the kitchen,it was all guess work really. She had no idea where it was,she just followed the lovely smell wafting through the dungeons. Finally she turned a corner and saw a girl who seemed to be tickling the picture,it suddenly turned into a door knob. This must obviously be the way into the kitchen "Hungry too?"She asked walking up behind her,she hoped she didn't frighten her,the words had just sort of come out with out thinking that the girl probably didn't even notice her.
