Raffael walked down the Grand Staircase from his dorms. He had contemplated what he was going to do for the day and although Hadan had crossed his mind many times, he decided that a day without her wouldn't hurt. He needed to make some new friends and as great as Hadan was variety was always nice. Exiting the castle, Raff was glad he had chosen a light shirt and shorts for the day as the sun was glaring in the Summer heat.

As he walked across the grounds, Raff thought about the holiday that had just passed. It had been enjoyable, he was so thankful that Taylor's family had been so kind to him. He had a place to stay at both her Mum's and her Dad's. He didn't worry about his own parents any more. Occasionally Raff would think about them and it would make him upset, but that was natural. For the most part, he had moved on.

Raff continued walking aimlessly and found himself at the Cliffs, remembering when he first met Hadan and how they had danced in the rain. He smiled at the memory and leant against a rock, staring out at the distance beyond the cliffs. He was so content with his life at the moment. He couldn't believe he would ever feel like this after leaving his home country.

Kiera was growing restless inside the castle. School hadn't even been back in session for a week and she was already desperately missing James. She couldn't spend anymore time in the castle. Kiera was afraid she was going to run into Alex. He had been her best friend for the past year and she had lost him forever. It felt like a piece of her was missing but she could deal with it for James. She could do anything for James.

Kiera was casually walking along the grounds, dressed in a pretty green and black dress with black heels. On her left hand, was her pink and white diamond engagement ring. Kiera finally came to the Cliffs. It was a place that held so many memories for her. It was her place to think but it was also a place where she had many memories with Alex, none of which she would regret though they still caused her pain. She walked to the edge of the cliffs, zoned out in her own world. Kiera sat down, not noticing the person close by her.
