Jordie knew the next name on his list. How could he not? There was so much gossip around this name. And Jordie got to deliver a pink rose. He had been sooooo tempted to read the note, but Jordie was not that rude. It wasn't his business. He was dying to know all the same. He hurried through the halls and up to the Gryffindor places. "Ericcccccc, Ericcc Hollanddddd," He sing-songed, looking around for the familiar hot-head.

Eric was making his way back to the common room after lunch, feeling increasingly anxious about all the roses around him. He hoped the day would be over soon, though he was looking forward to the dance. He frowned when he heard his name being called in a very annoying way. He turned around and noticed the young boy who was doing it. "What?" He called to him with a scowl.

Jordie smiled brightly as he found Eric. "I have a rose for you!" He declared, pulling the pink rose from his basket and held it up with a smile.

Eric was about to snap at the boy for singing his name in an annoying way in the corridor when he noticed the color of the rose the boy pulled out. He blinked, his irritation forgotten. "Thanks." He said quickly, reaching for it and grabbing it quickly. He took a few steps back so he could read the note in private, a small smile appearing on his face.
