FULL NAME:
Pericles Dragonslayer

MEANING:
Pericles - From the Greek name Περικλης (Perikles), which was derived from the Greek elements περι (peri) "around, exceedingly" and κλεος (kleos) "glory". This was the name of a 5th-century BC Athenian statesman and general.
Dragonslayer - A slayer of dragons

WHY:
Pericles' name was picked by his parents by the fact he was the oldest son of his parents they felt he would be to one to carry on the name and so decided to pick the name of a well respected Greek man that partially meant glory. Pericles has always loved his name, specifically because of the definition meaning glory. His surname has passed through the females of his family, so that had Pericles been female the man she would've married would've had to take his name.

NICKNAMES:
Pericles doesn't have any nicknames, nothing he would identify as even pet names, his name is Pericles and he would never really identify as anything else. A girlfriend or partner would feel free to use nicknames but he would never really respond to it unless he really cared about this person. He doesn't think nicknames are useful nor does he think his name could ever shortened into a nickname, he doesn't think he needs one at all

AGE:
Pericles is currently 19 years old. He's a confident young man, who enjoys nothing more than getting absolutely smashed on his birthday. He loves going out drinking and being able to have countless drinks bought for him. He likes hanging around with people his age and being in clubs. His birthday is a time to just go all out, and to him if doesn't wake up after a three day birthday bender with a hang over it wasn't a good enough time.

D.O.B.:
July 21st 2021, Pericles is the first son of his parents and was born with relative ease in a magical hospital in Athens Greece.

PROFESSION:
Slayer of Dragons, that is what Pericles likes to say, he's followed in the old family business and works with other members of his family learning to be a dragon slayer, he will finish his training when he hits twenty years old. He helps in maintaining the dragon population and helping to ensure that dragons who start causing destruction are dealt with. Pericles loves his job, he thinks it's dangerous but he still loves it a lot. He wouldn't want a boring office job, being out in the elements and proving his strength is enough for him.

Pericles does not own any pets. Because he's always moving around he doesn't see the point in owning any pets, he'll never be able to look after them properly so he'd never gotten a pet. He's always thought about getting one since he does technically live alone but he's never really home long enough to merit it.

THOUGHTS ON BLOOD STATUS:
Pericles doesn't really care about blood purity, he'd stick with those magical because he prefers them, but he doesn't think of muggles as lesser he just doesn't want them in his life. Pericles would try to marry into a good magical family but he's not control by his parents so he doesn't have to. He would never fight a war about blood but is against muggle exclusion mostly because he really enjoys telling people what he does for a living and wishes more would be able to believe it.

FIRST KISS:
Pericles' first kiss was in Greek History class with a girl that he'd been crushing on for a while when he turned 15 years old. He really liked her, and pretty much thought of her as the most beautiful girl he'd ever seen at the time.

FIRST FRENCH KISS:
This happened later in the day after lunch with a different girl who had been jealous of Pericles' kissing on girl and kissed him, this time using tongue, it was then that Pericles decided he really liked being with different girls and wasn't a huge fan of settling down, known of the girls could make him feel much more than short term pleasure.

PAST RELATIONSHIPS:
Pericles has never been in a real relationship

FLINGS:
Ever since turning of age, Pericles has been with multiple women, he's never bothered with men and has never bothered with returning, he doesn't see the point in sleeping with the same person on consecutive nights, or at least hasn't met anyone yet that he would like to do that with.

THE FIRST TIME:
One his birthday, he had been out for drinks with his friends and took a girl back to his dorm room at school, he would describe it as one of the best experiences of his life, he doesn't think he was very good at it, but he definitely describe it as an experience which changed his life.

HAIR COLOUR:
Pericles has soft dark brown hair, which is kept at a relatively average length for someone of his age and stature, he doesn't think that overly short hair or long hair suits him, so he keeps it at a fair length. He has quite soft hair, and rarely uses any product in it. Because of his job the biggest danger is getting his hair singed by the dragon fire, he often has the edges singed but he doesn't mind, he deals with it and applies the right product to his hair to help heal it.

HAIR HAS BEEN DYE
Pericles has never dyed his hair, it was briefly turned pink as a practical joke in school by his friend, and he actually quite enjoy being able to have a different hair colour for a few hours before changing it back. He much prefers having brown hair and wouldn't take any other colour over it. He thinks his hair is excellent the way it is and wouldn't really change it for anything.

EYE COLOUR:
Despite having quite dark skinned hair and tanned skin, Pericles has dark blue eyes which are very noticeable against his face. He isn't sure which family member he gets this from but he does get it from someone and he loved it. It gives his eyes, he thinks a much softer look about them. Overall with his relatively sharp features he thinks that the dark blue colour help to make him look less threatening and more friendly and charming.

BIRTHMARKS:
Pericles has a few small birthmarks on his right ankle, but aside from that a couple of freckles he doesn't really have anything else. He barely notices those marks.Because of his work however, he as a few scars on his front and back, most of the injuries he incurs end up being fine, but the odd one gives him a small scar, he wears these largely with pride, since he does love what he does.

BODY TYPE:
Pericles can be described as having an athlete's build, he goes to the gym nearly every day, and because of the nature of his work he is not often just sitting about, he's always active always doing something. Pericles is very built and very proud of his body, he works hard to keep in shape,eats well, and isn't often just lazying about. As well as this, Pericles is fairly tall, he stands at about 6ft 2 and this fairly common within his family.

Pericles had to have his blood checked before becoming a slayer, he can often be in situations where he can get very injured and though they usually are close to healers and things to help them should things take a turn towards the worse, should he happen to be in a muggle area that he would then be able to communicate to the muggles what he might need.

WHICH HAND?:
Pericles is right handed, he was taught to read and write by a private family tutor who taught his siblings as well as himself, being the oldest he was the first of his family to learn everything and he began very naturally with using his right hand mimicking what he'd seen being done around his hand by his parents with their wands.

VOICE:
Pericles sounds very upper class when he speaks Greek, being raised in a wealthy family means he's always been privileged and never had many issues with money, which has given him quite a polite and posh Greek accent. When he speaks English it is far more relaxed mostly given that he doesn't speak the language very well, he speaks with a heavy greek accent, though it's gotten a lot better as he's left school and found that most people speak English and very few people speak Greek.

I CAN SPEAK:
Pericles grew up in Greece and so learnt Greek, his primary language is greek and he loves his nature language, but it was when he turned fifteen that it became clear that learning english was in his best interest and so he began learning english. He can hold his own english now, after he worked very hard at it. He prefers Greek and spends far more time in Greece than he should. Pericles struggles more with written english, and it was the part of the language he had the most difficulty with.

I AM ALLERGIC TO:
Pericles isn't allergic to anything, and very much enjoys this fact, he thinks that being allergic to things much be a huge inconvenience, he doesn't care much about what he eats, though he is very careful because he likes to stay in shape he likes to try new things and likes to be able to push the boundaries of what he does and tries so to him being allergic to something would hinder that.

PERSONAL STYLE:
Pericles doesn't have much a of a style really, he wears shorts and t-shirts a lot of the time when he's in hot countries and opts for jeans for most of the time, when he's at work, he'll pick sports trousers because they allow great movement, he likes to dress plainly but playing to his physical features, so he'll happily wear tank tops in the summer, and he'll not often be caught without his sunglasses, Pericles often is in pursuit of the sun. He has a fairly laid back style, but also easily manages to slip in a very formal style for when the occasion calls for it. Ever since he could, Pericles has grown a beard and he keeps it at a far length.

CHARACTER LIKES:
Pericles loves beach, girl's in bikinis and slaying dragons. He loves warm weather, hot countries and living a little dangerously. He likes eating fresh food, and cooking, he likes swimming and going to various beaches in Greece, he thoroughly enjoys sex and thoroughly enjoys going clubbing. He likes drinking and parties and being the centre of the room. Pericles loves impressing people, and he loves a friendly challenge.

CHARACTER DISLIKES:
Pericles dislikes people who try to put him down, or think that his choice of job is wrong. He dislikes people who insult his siblings and he really hates when people make fun of him when he speaks Greek or make fun of Greece in general. He is very nation proud. Pericles dislikes when it's cold, he really hates having to spend too much time in cold countries, and dislikes when the sea or ocean water is too cold for him to swim. He dislikes when he gets told what to do.

GOALS:
Despite still being quite young Pericles has achieved pretty much all the goals he set out to complete. The only thing left is to complete his training which he on track to do and then eventually have a family, he knows that life isn't just about getting a job and then kids but he wants that.

BOGGART:
As much as he is quite an individual person, seeing any of his siblings hurt would cause him to feel an immense loss, he loves his siblings and would do anything to protect them. As the oldest he knows that it's his job to be like this, as the oldest brother.

PATRONUS:
Dragon. Despite spending a lot of his time bringing down dragons Pericles loves dragons, he just knows it's important to keep the population under control and manages to help do this. He identifies strongly with the creature believing himself of as great power as them.

PATRONUS MEMORY:
Pericles would say that graduating, or the graduation party which he had has to be the thing he thinks most fondly on, it was a crazy time, and he drank so much. He was so happy to leave the school, to be done with education and he was just so happy to celebrate all that he and the others in his year had achieved. Pericles has had other parties that were almost as good but the sheer joy he felt at this, at his graduation celebration was just immense.

DEMENTOR:
Pericles has had a pretty stable life thus far, though the period before he was accepted to learn the family trade was the most daunting part of his life, he wanted to do it so bad and really had no back up plan about what he might do if he failed. There was just an entire week where he barely slept and was just unable to eat. He was glad when he found out and was able to start working.

VERITISERUM:
While Pericles loved his school experience, he is very jealous of his young sister being able to go to school in New Zealand, he had always thought he might be able to go to Hogwarts and had just been sent to school in Greece, and though he loves his sister and is very happy for her, he is jealous that she was able to attend the school she wanted to.

MIRROR OF ERISE
While Pericles is very satisfied with his life currently, he's able to do what he wants, in a job that he really loves, perhaps the only thing that he might see would be a family of his own, even though he's pretty young, he's always desired a family of his own. He's never pursued it or even dated anyone but he thinks fondly and looks forward to that part of his life, so he's see that in the mirror.

AMORENTIA:
There are a few smells that Pericles would really claim to ever love, he likes the smell of oranges and lemons, he likes the smell of the sea and sand. He loves the smell of homecooked meals by his mother and oddly enough he loves the smell of sweat in clubs, he loves drinking and clubs and so part of him will always associate the smell of sweat in clubs as something he enjoys and good times, so it would be part of what he smells. He has recently discovered that also likes the smell of mint.

I LOOK UP TO:
Pericles doesn't really look up to anyone, at a push he respects his grandmother enough to say that he looks up to her, but he believes himself to be great enough as an individual that looking up to anyone would be counter-productive. He cares about family image and looks up to his grandmother in that respect. He loves his family and he wants to be someone that his family looks to rather than looking to others.

RELIGIOUS BELIEFS:
Non-religious
Having studied a lot of Greek history which include early greek history right to modern day Greece, Pericles is familiar with the religions that exist in the muggle parts of his country, however, he doesn't follow any of it and doesn't believe in any of it. Though he might often describe himself as a gift from the gods, Pericles doesn't believe in any of the gods, he thinks that if any of the greek gods existed that they are likely just wizards who because of their magic got treated like gods by the people. He doesn't believe in any of the gods.

Pericles can be described as full of himself, he'll actively describe himself as a gift from the gods. He knows he's good looking and he'd definitely play into this. He thinks he is a gift and will act as such, he's very strong willed, he'll not often be brought down from a position and he's not often the type to be outdone. He can be exceedingly charming, and has to date had very little problems picking up woman. He's quite a show off, and he'll actively joke with people about things. He likes when others are a challenge and he loves being laid back when he's not at work. Pericles takes his work very seriously and will not joke around at such a point but at other times he'll be very casual and jokey. He's pretty cocky and whole heartedly believes in himself, he doesn't really have one shred of doubt in anything that he does. He can be quite a romantic and knows that once he finds someone he loves he'll settle down. Pericles is loyal to his family, and to the people he cares, he is not particularly kind to people he doesn't know, or people who are actively terrible to him. He can take a punch or comment, he believes in himself and his looks so much it would be very right to call him conceited. He is not overly intelligent, he gets by but he gets by when he revises and managed to recite the information.

THOUGHTS ABOUT WAN
When Pericles first got his wand, he wasn't too sure about it, since it was quite a big wand, but he's really grown into it, and loves his wand. It was obviously perfect from the moment that he touched it, but the wand grew on him more and more as he got older and got at better at using it, and got more skilled with it. He loves his wand a lot and thinks it is very well paired with him. He knows that given his job he is more likely to break his wand, and he mourns the day this could happen.

SCHOOL:
Private magical school near mount Olympia, Greece

FIRST THOUGHTS:
He wasn't at all daunted by the school, he has always loved the area around Mount Olympia and absolutely loved the school the moment he stepped inside, it was very traditional ancient greek and had lovely dorm rooms, and everyone was very nice. It wasn't entirely what he was expecting, but he loved the look of it and it just very easily felt like home.

THOUGHTS DURING GRADUATION:
His graduation wasn't like he knows other people is, he finished his exams and continued to be at the school until his results were given to him which was a month later and then they all had a party, it was a massive party in the school where all years were in attendence and then afterwards all the kids who had graduated took a shot of Ouzo before leaving and his year group left for a nearby magical club where they partied until morning. He doesn't remember much of the evening, but he would describe it as one of the greatest nights of his life.

POSITIONS ACHIEVE
Since it was such a small school there were no positions up for grabs, and he just passed through the school excelling in different subjects, but he wasn't an overly academic student.

Care of Magical Creatures, Pericles loved and absolutely excelled at Care Of magical creatures, ever since he was a young boy he'd always had his career path in mind and so at the first occasion he could he took Care of magical Creatures and he worked in that class more than he ever worked before, putting all his effort into it and was very pleased with the O he got at NEWT level for it.

WORST CLASS:
Herbology, despite how useful it might be to him currently, there was just something about the class that he was terrible at, and he was happy when he was able to get a P which was a failing grade but as good as he was going to do in the class. Pericles doesn't find plants that interesting, not really in the slightest.
