Open Peas in a Pod

Thistle could hardly move, but that was a small price to pay for what she was pretty sure was the best Halloween costume of all time. As silly as it was, Thistle loved having matching hair with her brothers. Walking around bright green made it easy to spot each other, and it was a fun conversation starter. With Sawyer graduating soon, it seemed silly not to take advantage of their hair for the only Halloween the three of them would share at Hogwarts. So Thistle had cobbled together a pea costume by hand, and the three of them were stuffed and pinned into the pod, shuffling uncomfortably around the Great Hall as one. "Ow, you stepped on my foot!" Thistle yelped, elbowing Sawyer, though it had hardly hurt at all. There were hazards to such an elaborate costume, but it was hard to be mad when they looked this funny.

Felix had been waiting eagerly to finally wear the costume Thistle had worked so hard on. He had helped a little by coloring in some of the peas but he was just happy to be doing something together as a family while they still could. It was a lot harder to move around in the costume than he realized since they were all connected together but they had managed to make it down into the great hall in one piece. He ignored Thistle's complaint to Sawyer and glanced around the hall. The decorations were great as usual and he was eager to get his hand on some of the snacks. "So, what do we want to do first?" he asked and kept glancing at the food, hoping they could all agree on something.
