Jenna walked up to the Owlrey with a gentle smile formed on her pale pink lips, earlier that day she had written to Scorpius to meet her here, she hadn't seen him since Sam's birthday party and she missed him terribly, it was like part of her was missing. She had noticed that something had been up with him at the birthday party, but had thought nothing of it really. Perhaps I did something and I didn't realize it, she thought as she searched for any reason he might be ignoring her.

She put her hands in the pockets of her jeans as she waited, for Scorpius. Her head was spinning and her heart was thumping faster then she could ever imagine. She finally got irritated with with waiting and walked over to one of the owl cages that had a bird in it. The beautiful bird hooted once and she stoked it's beak through the cage boredly.

Scorpius was notorious for being late to everything, so as usual, when he got up to the Owlery where Jenna told him to meet her, he gave her an apologetic smile for being late. He felt a little awkward since he had been avoiding her since Sam's birthday party, possibly before then, since he was a little upset with her. He had his hands stuffed in his jeans pockets and simply nodded in her direction as a form of greeting, "Hey Jenn," he half grunted. His cold grey eyes looked into hers as he wondered why she called him up here.

Jenna turned around when she heard Scorpius' angered greeting, she gave him a look that showed her hurt at it, she crossed her arms against her chest in slight frustration, she had decided that she had done nothing wrong, at least nothing she knew she did. "Hey Scorpius," she murmured quietly, so it was almost inaudible. Then there was silence, it was quite awkward overly so actually. "Why are you mad at me?" she finally blurted out. There was a small tinge of anger in her voice, she hadn't done anything wrong, he didn't have the right to be mad at her, at least that was what she believed.

Scorpius looked up at her outburst when she questioned why he was mad at her. He hoped he hadn't made it that obvious but he figured that if she knew now there was no point in denying it. "I heard about your brother. I'm sorry that he was so sick, but I'm glad he's gotten better now," he said simply, not answering her question at all really. He gave her a weak apologetic smile as if to confirm his sympathies toward her.

Jenna looked at him not understanding what he was talking about really. She tilted her head to the side quietly and narrowed her eyes at him and asked slowly, "You're mad at me.. because my brother was dying?" She sighed gently and shook her head wondering what he was talking about, this was all a little to weird for her. "Why? How could you be so selfish?" she asked with anger clearly in her voice, as she jumped to conclusions. She frowned as she thought of Scorpius being so angry at her because she was sad about what could have been her twin brother's death.

Scorpius frowned slightly in confusion and when she said he was mad that Owen was dying he quickly said, "Wha? No!" He shook his head quickly to tell her that that wasn't the reason why he was mad. "Jenn," he began as she called him selfish. He sighed and looked down at his feet before looking back up. "No I'm not mad because of that," he added once more for clarification. "I'm just mad because you didn't tell me. I had to find out through someone else. I thought we were friends." He remembered Sam's birthday party when he felt so out of the loop, so unlike her friend. He knew just as much as one of her enemies did, and that was never a good sign when it came to friends.

Jenna frowned at what Scorpius said and she took a deep breath to calm herself down. She then said honestly, "I wanted to tell you, more then Hoshi and Sam, but you're a hard guy to get a hold of you know." She flashed him a warm smile and shuffled towards him wanting to hug her best friend more then anything now. "Never mind the fact that I was in my dorm most of the time," she added quietly and smiled as she ran her fingers through her blond hair. She took another step towards him, so they were arms length apart and wrapped her arms around him gently.

Scorpius chuckled in agreement when she said he was a hard guy to get a hold of. He smiled in defeat and said, "Fine, I can't argue with you there." He also knew that lately he hadn't really been approachable much though he didn't know why. He smiled as Jenn hugged him and wrapped his arms around her as well. He placed a soft kiss on top of her head and said, "I really am sorry about your brother Jenna."

Jenna smiled as Scorpius hugged her back, she looked up at him after he kissed her head, her cheeks had blushed but she didn't realize it really. She smiled at him and slid her hands up between his broad shoulder blades gently wondering what to say but she felt so comfortable in Scorpius' arms right now. "I know you are," she whispered gently. "Owen will get better though," she added with a grin then rested her head on his chest gently, she didn't think she still had a crush on him so this was all innocent right? Course it is, she thought to herself but her thoughts were dragged off of that as she took a small breath inwards, she immediately smelt him, she closed her eyes gently as her nostrils flared with his sweet smell.

Scorpius smiled to himself and said, "That's good. That letter that you got at Sam's birthday was good news right?" he asked. He was sure that he heard her say Owen was going to be fine, but it felt like a while ago so now he couldn't be sure. He stood there in the Owlery simply hugging Jenna as he rested his chin on her head and rubbed her back softly to soothe her. He had no idea how he would react if his brother was so sick to the point of dying, it would absolutely kill him, so he felt that Jenna had handled things well, aside from not telling him.

Jenna smiled and said, "Yes, it was great news, he had some major surgery and will be just fine when he heals." She smiled warmly and she shivered slightly when she felt Scorpius' hands slid up and down her back, making her sweater wrinkle as he did this. Her cheeks flushed but his head was resting on top of hers so she didn't think he would catch it. "You know, it seems like we do this a lot," she observed with yet another blush, then two faces appeared in her mind, one with brown hair and blue eyes, the face of her boyfriend Sam, the other was a girl with blue eyes and long brown hair, it was Scorpius' girlfriend, Luna. She sighed and rolled her eyes then pulled away slightly from Scorpius so their chests were not touching but her arms were still loosely around him, she slid them down so they hung at the waist band of his pants.

Scorpius nodded his head softly so that he wouldn't move her head so much and smiled when she reassured him that her brother would be fine. "That's great Jenn," he said softly to her. When she said it seemed like they did this a lot and she pulled back slightly, he furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. "Do what a lot?" he asked unsure. "You mean fight and make up?" he asked with a chuckle. At the sound of that his mouth formed a small 'o' but he closed it. The way he said it reminded him of his relationship with Luna, they were always fighting and making up. Was it weird that he had just described the relationship between Jenna like a couple's relationship? No, it was just a coincidence.

Jenna nodded her head and frowned when she saw that his mouth open softly. She quickly decided that she would shrug it off unless he brought it up and she sighed gently and said, "We do fight and make up more then enough." She reluctantly pulled away from him some more, she dropped her hands to her side, then crossed them against her chest letting him decide if he wanted to keep his hands on her or not. Jenna took a deep breath as she waited for his response.

Scorpius felt her hands at the waist band of his pants and bit his lip anxiously because he didn't wear his pants too high up. Soon after though, she released him from the hug and agreed with what he said as she crossed her hands across her chest. He kept his arms around her and hugged her even more tightly as he smiled. "Yeah we do. But it's a brother and sister kinda relationship," he described with a playful smirk at her before he finally released her. Right? he thought anxiously. Wait what? Of course. Why was he even questioning it?

Jenna blushed vividly as Scorpius hugged her again and tightly she kept her arms to herself though but crept in closer to him again. "Of course," she lied easily then flashed him a smile then let him release her, she didn't like that he wasn't holding her anymore, but said nothing, it would completely contradict what she just said. "What would make you think otherwise?" she asked with a playful smirk.

Scorpius chuckled and answered jokingly, "Maybe because we fight like a couple!" His smile faded once he said that out loud though. In his head, he was fine to think that, and question it silently, but once it was out in the open like that, he felt weird about it, as if it were wrong. It was wrong to think of them like that, they were both in two different relationships, and she was with his best friend! His brows furrowed in confusion but didn't say much else because he reasoned with himself that he didn't like Jenna like that.

Jenna averted her eyes discretely when Scorpius said that they fought like a couple, she looked back at him and giggled sweetly and teased, "I think that may just be wishful thinking, my dear boy." She ruffled Scorpius' soft brown hair playfully as said her last word, emphasizing it slightly. She put her hand back to her side and smiled warmly at him and said, "You look confused, what's up?" She crossed her arms against her chest as she waited for her best friends response, but trying to not look at him with affection, that was how she looked at Sam, but as of late it seemed to be floating away, she wasn't too sure why, perhaps it was the thought of Sam she enjoyed, maybe she was just a tease and didn't actually like these boys, she didn't know, she was satisfied with thinking that she still had a crush on Scorpius from before, and that it was going to go away soon.

Best friend, best friend, best friend, best friend! she thought repeatedly as her eyes scanned over him, taking in his stance, his cute expression, his everything, but not wanting to. Sam, Sam, Sam, Sam! she reminded herself, as she gave Scorpius a smile.

Scorpius laughed and said, "Hey!" as she ruffled his hair. He jokingly pretended to fix it and replied, "Wishful thinking? Don't get excited Jenn." He stuck his tongue out at her and said, "I have a girlfriend thank you very much. And you," he said tapping the tip of her nose lightly, "are with my dear best friend Sam." He ruffled his hair once more even though he had pretended to just get mad at her for doing that, and simply smiled at her, not knowing what to say next. When she asked why he was confused he shook his head and said, "Nothing really." He didn't want to tell her that it worried him that he just described them like a couple. What if he was the only one thinking that, which made it seem like he liked Jenn. His thoughts made him question if Jenn still like him or not but he knew he wasn't about to ask her that.

Jenna laughed then she poked the tip of Scorpius' nose back and said, "I know Scorp." She put her small hand on his jaw, her thumb traced his chin as she said playfully, "You don't get excited." She emphasized one of her words to show that she didn't like him any more and was just playing around with him, which seemed to be a lie, thankfully there was no way to tell. She took her hand off of Scorpius' soft jaw line and behind her neck and rubbed it vigorously, then tilted her head to the side at Scorpius' words. "You sure?" she asked quietly, knowing that something was on his mind, but she also knew that he would tell her if there was something important going on.

Scorpius had to force himself away from Jenn as he felt her fingers trace his jawline. "Woah Jenn," he muttered inaudibly. Thankfully she removed her hand but it hadn't stopped him from thinking something else, something wrong for the two of them. When she asked if he was sure nothing was wrong, he knew he had to ask it. The way she touched him made him question it a lot. "Jenn...you don't still like me, do you?" He looked at her, his grey eyes mingled with worry and interest.

Jenna looked at Scorpius with a look of shock on her expression, still acting, she furrowed her eye brows as if she didn't understand what would make him think such a thing, as if it was the most outrageous thing she had ever heard. Then she gave him a playful look of disgust. "God no Scorpius!" she finally said. She blinked her eyes and shook her head as if trying to put her mind around what he had said. Thank god for acting classes! she thought as she was doing all of this. "I like Sam, a lot," she said with a girlish smile and blush.

Scorpius couldn't help but wonder if she was lying to him, but her reaction seemed believable so he raised an eyebrow and said, "If you say so." He smiled at her, hoping it was the truth and said, "You and Sam are sickening." He stuck his tongue out at her and pulled her in for a hug as he ruffled her hair playfully.

Jenna smiled, she had meant that about Sam, but that didn't mean tht she didn't have a crush on Scorpius. "And you and Luna aren't?" she teased back and then hugged Scorpius back with a small smile. Then she playfully pushed him away from her to fix her hair. "Hey!" she exclaimed, but being playful, it really didn't bother her what he did to her hair. "Watch your hands mister," she said playfully.

Scorpius laughed lightly and said, "No I don't think Luna and I are." They mostly kept to themselves in the Ravenclaw tower or the other half of the time they were arguing and angry at each other. It was a weird relationship but he stopped thinking about it as he began laughing as she pushed him away. "Me watch my hands?" he repeated with his mouth hanging open in surprise. "I should be telling you the same! The way you traced my jawline like that..." he trailed off, not wanting to think anything wrong again and ruffled his hair nervously.

Jenna opened her mouth so it formed a small 'o' but closed her mouth tightly. She gave him a look that showed her fury with his words. She scoffed a little coldly, and crossed her arms against her chest. "God Scorpius, I can't believe you!" she said with an exasperated groan. She shook her head once then sighed. "What would make you ever think that I would ever be interested in someone like you?" she asked, with a little bit of disgust in her voice. "And don't give me the whole, 'you had a crush on me before it could happen again' stuff," she said frustratedly. "Even if I did, it would only be a crush, I'm smarter then that, I like Sam and you like Luna," she stated after a long sigh, she had successfully calmed herself long enough not to shoot him dirty looks. But really all of this was her being defensive, luckily it seemed like she was offended, she only hoped that Scorpius wouldn't be hurt at her words.
