Once upon a time her boyfriend's apartment in Paris had been like a second home to Riley. With the pair of them training most days and playing in games the others it seemed silly to go back and forth between their apartments and Riley hadn't wanted to irritate Jenn and Lani so Will's place seemed to be their usual hideout. And hideout was no exaggeration, being a couple in the Quidditch world meant that they had not been short of attention lately, something that Riley in particular had been struggling with, with the news of her pregnancy she had almost literally locked herself up in her New York apartment, afraid to step outside and have anyone be privy to this knowledge. Staying in the apartment all day had put a strain on her relationship with her twin sister, they had been constantly bickering, as children they had never been mad at each other for more than a few minutes before running into eachother's arms and wondering why they had ever fought in the first place. This was different, after hoping for support Riley had discovered that her situation was not as she had expected, with her sister so upset with her the eighteen year old could hardly imagine how Will would react when she told him. This was the reason that she was almost three months along now, and Will still did not know that he was going to be a father, she had already made the decision to keep their child on her own, something she hoped he would support her in, though she knew she would go ahead with it either way.

She wasn't going to rehearse out what to say this time, she had learnt her lesson when the news had been broken to her mother and step father. Instead she was just going to come out with it, come clean and finally feel like she had no secrets to keep or conversations to dodge. Since discovering she was pregnant, Riley had not seen Will face to face and had even told him and her other team mates that she had sustained an injury so that they would not become suspicious of her not playing in her teams games. The seeker was beyond upset that she had been suspended from Quidditch by her captain, and was even more insulted by who they had replaced her with, the girl wasn't fit for the position and it was taking a toll on their team, something that Riley couldn't forgive herself for. Living in New York was becoming too much for her, and so that morning she had packed a bag and threw her hair up in a loose pony tail and she was set for Paris. She didn't know anything at all about babies and so was unaware of any risks apparition could cause on her unborn child later in the pregnancy, so in naivety she felt her stomach lurch before her feet touched down in France, right outside her boyfriend's door. She let herself in, using a key instead of her wand, which was safely in her back pocket, and she was surprised to see Will right there in the lounge, their game of unfinished scrabble at least two months old but still in position on the counter amongst the mess of the young man's apartment. Dropping her bag down on the floor Riley took two steps forward and took a breath. There was no round about way of saying it, she had to spit it out, but first she voiced her opinions. "Will, there is no easy way for me to say this," she began, feeling as though she was in some sort of cheap soap opera that could only afford recycled lines. "I'm preg-"

She began her words, but before the end of the phrase could touch the tip of her tongue the door behind her swung open and a voice seemed to bellow behind her, a protective voice full of anger, like that of a father. Well, a step father in Riley's case. She tried to analyse Will's expression, and wondered if he knew how her sentence should have ended. Her own father hadn't wanted to know her mother when she had been pregnant with Riley and Kalani, what if Will felt the same way? Riley turned her head, and her body folled, her hands instinctively resting on her stomach as her eyes met with Tamas'. How in the hell did he get there, or how did he find Will more importantly.

Everyday Tamas was finding himself more impatient and more angry at Kalani and Riley. God knew he loved them but the secrecy was taking a toll on him and the hurt in his wife was taking a toll on the pair of them and their baby. He was done with waiting so he apparated to the St. Petersburg ballet and barged in her dressing room where she was speaking with a blonde boy and he ordered that she told him who this boy was and where he lived. He was almost surprised when she obliged so quickly after keeping him in the dark for so long but she seemed to be in some sort of rush as she had pushed him out of the door after scribbling the name and address down on a piece of paper. Without much thought he read the name and apparated outside the apartment in France. He knew that there were laws for breaking and entering but he was a wizard and an angry father of a pregnant teenager, he felt himself to be above the law at the moment. So after ensuring this was the correct address and person's home by looking into their mail box he nearly kicked the door in, not surprised at all to see Riley there but angry none the less. The man had one fist clenched around his wand and the other so tightly that his knuckles were white and the rest of his hand was red as was his face. The normally docile man was livid for all the pain this boy had caused his family and would cause Riley and her child when he most likely left her with just her family. That was not a pain he wanted to see in the blonde child but right now his thoughts were only of his wife and her sorrow and disappointment in herself, the way she had questioned who she was and what she had meant to anyone. The past month had not been a happy time in the Mauven home and it was all due to this arrogant kid who should have kept his hands away from his daughter. With his nostrils flaring and his thick accent coming out as he yelled at the boy there was no resemblance to the man that Tamas was, he looked and sounded like his father. It was not something he liked and would ever like but they had their anger in common and he knew that if his father were to have ever found out about this he would have done this and more, he would likely kill the boy. It was not Tamas' intention but who knew what would happen when he was in this state. "How dare you touch her?!"

Without much effort he strode past Riley and pointed his wand at the blond boy's throat, his anger causing the tip to burn and subsequently hurt the boy but he wanted him to suffer for this. His family's name was disgraced because of this and the boy should pay, he should feel the affect of his foolish actions and how they were going to change his family's lives forever, especially Riley's. "Are you stupid?" he asked. "Did you think, 'Oh gee, I'm bored so I'm going to ruin a good person's life today?' Or maybe, 'I'm going to hurt her mother and make her think that she made a mistake with her children?' Or maybe, maybe you weren't thinking at all when you got my daughter pregnant!" He was yelling now, his face so close to Will's that he was nearly spitting on him. Tamas stood back up straight, his wand still pointed in Will's direction. "Which is it?" Tamas felt Riley's gaze upon them but he did not look at her for he was angry with her as well. He only hoped that she understood that she would realize he was this angry because he cared about her very much and had not wanted her to be hurt in the way his wife was. Like Frannie, Tamas wanted the best things for Kalani and Riley and one day maybe a family but this way, not so young and definitely not before they were married but because of thoughtless actions Riley's life would be changed and so would everyone else's.
