It was a beautiful day outside, and Beau Chamberlin did not have any lessons today. It was too good to waste, so backed to the brim with his paints, the Ravenclaw made his way down to the lakefront to find a good scenery to paint. He walked along the edge of the water, occasionally having to dodge the small waves. Last thing he wanted were wet socks. Wet socks were the absolute worst! He could not stand the feeling, nor could he tolerate wet shoes either. Maybe he should have just gotten sandals today instead? Nah, he loved his sneakers and would continue to use them even if they got a little wet…
He found a spot that was called Avie’s Memorial. He had died 15 some years ago, drowning in this very lake. It was hard to think of someone drowning, but that was likely because he could swim and could not imagine a time where he could not doggie paddle at least. He sat down on the rocks and set his supplies to the side, while he focused on painting the lake with the memorial set off to the left. Beau was absolutely excellent at painting, and it helped him relax and enjoy.
