Ana Sofia loved art. She loved pretty things, things that looked aesthetically pleasing and things that just by looking at them made her feel happy inside. What she also loved was fun clothes, clothes she could wear that made her happy, made her feel good. Which was why she could often be found wearing outfits that were sporting little hand-painted decorations on them. She'd paint on anything really. Shirts, jeans, shoes, bags. You name it, she'd be happy to decorate it. Having gotten bored with one of her pairs of jeans Ana had decided it was time for an upgrade. The common room had been pretty busy and so she had picked up her paint, brushes and the pair of jeans and was now taking it all towards the student lounge, only barely able to holding on to all of it. The youngster was glad to see that the lounge was quieter than her common room had been and happily put her stuff down on one of the tables, only just in time because a couple of seconds more and she was sure most of it would've slipped out of her arms. Ana had cuffed the jeans and decided that she'd paint the cuffs, putting all of her paint in place and picking up one of the smallest brushes. Now the only thing left to do was to decide what she'd paint on them. She'd usually go for little flowers, but she felt like she needed to do something else every now and again as well to not make all of her clothes look the same. Ana hold the brush right above her paint, staring at it intensely as she waited for an idea to come to her.

The Student Lounge was a place Nola had yet to venture to. She wasn't entirely sure what to expect there, though she figured if ever there was a place to make friends, it would be at a hang out lounge. The Gryffindor had explored most of the important places by now, and was confident that she would be able to find her way to classes and back easily. She had also mastered the Great Hall, and the doors to outside, which she definitely needed to know. Imagine being stuck inside forever!
Nola took a deep breath before lifting her head, feigning confidence, as she walked into the lounge. She had to look like she was going there for a reason, right? Her heart saddened a little bit when she saw it was a little empty, but a girl caught her eye. She was holding a paint brush to - jeans? Unable to stop her feet (but also grateful for a conversation starter), Nola moved towards the girl, cautiously sitting opposite her, staring at the paintbrush. "What are you doing?"

Ana had been stairing at the objects in front of her for a little while now. Alternating her gaze between the cuffed jeans, her paint brush and her paint colours. Why could she not think of something to paint? She wanted to try something other than her go-to's, but if she couldn't come up with something she might as well just decide on tiny little butterflies. Ana let out a small sigh but looked up when she noticed something, or someone, else enter her field of vision. "Oh, hi!" She smiled widely at the girl who had taken a seat opposite of her at the table. Pretty sure she recognized her from her classes the hufflepuff was gratefull the other girl seemed slightly curious about what she was doing. She hadn't met a lot of people yet so she was glad to be speaking to someone new. "I was about to paint the cuffs of my jeans," Ana said with a little shrug, nodding at the jeans in front of her. "But I don't know what to paint." She continued her explanation, before slightly perking up and looking back at the girl. "Got any ideas?"
