Valeria had seen a few muggle things, being home studying all of the time had learned about this and seen this. Val could admit that that she wasn't sure how many other people had in fact seen it, and perhaps the way her make up would turn green in the dark might be beyond some people, but she was Fiona from Shrek. She was wearing a crown and had a pretty green dress on and was moving about the Great hall. It was just going to be good fun, and if asked she could also break into song. There was a lot about this and being able to go to halloween events that she enjoyed. Now hopefully someone else would enjoy what she was. ​

Ares had been totally stumped as to what he would dress up as this year, especially when he realised last year just how elaborate some people's costumes were. A clown was a good idea last year, but it definitely wasn't executed right, and so he thought about going for something a little scarier. He had done his research this time, going through some muggle books when he came across a children's one that starred many different scary-looking monsters. He decided to go with the cookie monster, feeling it was the scariest of them all. He entered the Great Hall, immediately looking for Jordie until he came across Valeria dressed in a pretty dress. "Hey, Princess." he said with a smirk, impressed at how pretty she looked.

Valeria was a little confused by person in the costume which approached her. She didn't realise who it was until the voice. She gave a little giggle, "Hey cookie," she replied with a little smile. "Thank you," she then took a little step into the shadow to show the other side of the costume, that it made her go green, before stepping back into the light, "pretty cool huh?" she was fishing a little for the compliment, but if she was right, this person was Ares and he would probably give her a little something. ​

Ares watched as Valeria took a step to the side. He wondered what she was doing until he noticed the change in her skin colour. "Oh damn!" he exclaimed, staring at her green skin until she stepped back into the light. "How did you do that!? That's awesome! It's sort of like... a pretty princess, then when it's dark it's like... a Halloween Princess. I love it!" Valeria was one of the most creative people Ares knew, and it made his cookie monster costume look embarrassing.
