Out for a run

Jasmin felt more comfortable than she had in ages. Kira was complaining again how the only form of exercise she seemed to be doing these days was football and it wasn't all that good for her so after talking Jasmin convinced Kira to let her go running. It had been a while since Jasmin had been for a good run and this was the perfect excuse for it. Due to her going for a run Kira didn't give any say to what the young girl should wear so she happily put on one of my main tracksuits. Leaving Kira and Andros' out she ran into Brightstone and after the long run she stopped and took out her bottle of water and took a seat to catch her breath. Taking a long sip of her water she stopped and let out a content sigh, the run felt really good. Getting up of her seat she retied her shoes as the laces were starting to loosen on her. As she did she stretched a bit more before going back to Kira's. Before starting the run she started to job on the spot and shake off and knots or whatever so she'd have a good run. Much like in her football Jasmin could get competitive when she was running, it had been so long since she had a running buddy because while running was fun, running on your own - not so much.

It was a brightstone weekend and Tara was up early ready to go out for a run. she get dressed quick and as quietly as she possibly could the rest of her dorm mates were used to her early starts, but she still didn't like waking them up. she soon slipped down the stairs and was one of the first students in there and ticked into he normal fruit, and a new food she had discovered here, pancakes, with strawberries on the top, however she found she could not eat any more than one or she would feel heavy. she jogged out of the hall as most people started entering. she waved hello to her friend as she entered the entrance hall. she sprinted down the drive loving the feeling of the wind through her hair. she ran straight though the village and spent the morning in the surrounding countryside. it was lunch time and she was making her way back to the village to get some lunch when se saw another girl maybe a little older than her but she didn't mind. "hey" she said slowing down to a jog next to her. "I'm Briar, do you want a running buddy" she said smiling. it had been ages since she had ran with anyone and she liked meeting new people.

Jasmin had fixed herself up to run off again, thinking about maybe taking the scenic route home just so she didn’t have to get home right away. It wasn’t because she didn’t love her sister and new brother-in-law as well as her new niece but she just felt very left out when she was at home; she was the odd one out almost. It was times like this that made her miss Josh even more than she already did. It was hard for twins to be separated for anytime and when you were separated by continents it definitely didn’t make it any better. Josh and Jasmin had been as close as close to be when they were younger and when Josh got his acceptance letter for Hogwarts and Jasmin hadn’t it really did tear her apart inside even though she put on a strong front. As she was about to head off she heard an unfamiliar voice behind her. Looking at the girl as she listened to her request Jasmin thought about it for a moment. She seemed the part and looked like she had been running for a bit already. This could be fun she thought to herself. “Um, yeah sure, that would be great. I’m Jasmin by the way.”she said with a smile as she introduced herself to Briar.
