Felix didn't know who Juniper was, but going off the idea that Juniper belonged in a greenhouse, he had headed that way in the hopes of finding her. It was strange to be in the greenhouses these days, not only was Ten lurking around there but now so was Aunt Leda. It was probably best Felix stayed out of this place if he wanted to stay out from under his family's feet. "Juniper, that's a type of plant right?" he asked the Herbology professor, at a loss of where else to look.

@Juniper Veritas

Juniper liked the Greenhouse. It was quiet most of the time outside of lessons and better yet it was filled with plants. he was staring at the plants by the windows, quietly talking to them when she heard someone ask about junipers. Turning around she stared at the older boy, like a deer struck in the middle of a highway. Contemplating whether or not to enlighten him on junipers she started chewing on the inside of her cheek. Perks of being named after it she knew quite a bit about them. "Yes juniper is a evergreen tree that has little blue berries on it. A mature one can reach ten meters in height and live up to 200 years." She started explaining before being able to stop. "Sorry," She apologized quickly putting her head down, regretting the space buns she'd done in her hair because now she wasn't able to hide behind the hair.

Before his aunt could answer, Felix turned his head toward a girl who started giving him the down low on the Juniper plant. He watched her curiously, unsure why she was apologising. Taking a few steps closer to the girl, she looked a little shy now, even though she'd been confident just moments before. "200 years?" Felix gave her half a smile, "They probably see a lot if they live for that long," He didn't really know anything about plants despite his family, "Are you Juniper, or just an avid plant lover?" he asked, raising his eyebrows with a kind smile.

Juni kept staring at the ground, ready for either the boy to mock her or just laugh but he did neither. He actually took what she said and made a reasonable comment about it. Blinking a few times she raised her head to look at him, he didn't look mean. He had a nice smile and was being kind to her. "I think so yes, they probably know a lot if they could talk." She liked to think that plants saw and heard everything around them. "I- yes I am Juniper, named after the tree because it means evergreen and my mum's named each kid after a season and mine was autumn." The nerves were getting the best of her and if she wasn't stood in front of this boy right now she might have smacked her forehead for the ramble. "Sorry, again..." She wasn't sure why she was apologizing, maybe for giving unsolicited information on things the boy most probably wouldn't care about. Sigh.

The girl seemed to relax a little bit after Felix's comment, although after speaking about her name and apologizing, the Gryffindor couldn't help but wonder whether she felt embarrassed about speaking up. "Sounds reasonable. I'm named after Felix Felicis, my parents named all our siblings after potions, so you probably got the good end of the stick," being named after seasons seemed nicer than random magical elixirs, although he did wonder if parents had to plan in advance how many children they wanted to do something like that. "I have a rose for you," he said, remembering why he was there in the first place. Offering out the yellow rose, Felix looked away and back to his Aunt who was now lingering at the end of the greenhouse, if not to give Juniper a chance to read it without feeling like he was staring at her.

Hiya Juniper!!Happy Valentine's Day! Hope you have a fantastic day!! Thanks for being an amazing friend and roommate! I appreciate you lots!! I'm here for you always if you ever need anything!lots of love,Eloise

Juniper felt a soft smile tug at the corners of her lips. The fact that the boy had again offered something in return and not turned it into a mock felt nice. She wasn't sure why she was expecting things to be turned into a mockery but it was nice they weren't. Taking the rose she appreciated the moment Felix seemed to give her to read out the note, it was from Eloise. Pocketing he note she made a mental note to hang out with her dormmate more, because she was really nice. "I think your name is nice too," she said looking back up at him. "Thank you, for the rose and for being nice." Juni said quietly, she appreciated nice people. They made her feel safe, like that Professor by the lake and her Head of House.
