On the Tip of My Tongue

It was the start of a new semester which meant a fresh start for the young Slytherin. She was attempting to get back on the Qudditch team and she was going to make an effort to do better in her classes too. She would try and bring her best friends into her new way of life but she wasn't sure how they would react. The foursome were so used to engaging in adventures and other misdemeanors that they had neglected their studies which she was definitely regretting.

The young Slytherin decided that it was the perfect day to spend outside before the stress of classes. She walked down to the lawn and set herself up under a tree and placed her new books around her. It was a good start at least even if she found studying the most boring thing in the world and of course, it wasn't long before she found the whole activity tiring. She stretched and stood up and left the shade of the tree for the blaring sunlight. Jasmine looked around for some distraction but there was nothing to really occupy her. She sighed and wished her best friends were here as they would provide her with some light relief, however, they were not and she would have to make her own fun. So Jasmine decided that she would try and be a bit more active and she would participate in doing many cartwheels to occupy herself for a little while. She rolled down and down the lawn, without a care in the world, well that was until she bumped right into someone.

There were a few opens on the Slytherin quidditch team which meant Antonio had an opportunity to move up on the team and he was eager to do so. It was early in the semester and there was a calm at the school which Antonio was keen to take advantage of before the chaos of lessons began. The Slytherin common room had its comforts but it could get stuffy, maybe something to do with it being underground so Antonio wanted to get outside while he could. The air was fresh and warm and it produced a rare smile from Antonio as he walked out into it. Thankfully no one was around to witness it.

Antonio had no plans for his free time but as he made his way onto the lawn he realised he didn't need any as he spotted a familiar face, one he had very much been looking forward to seeing on his return to the school. Antonio stood back a moment and watched as the girl did cartwheels on the grass seemingly as a way to amuse herself. After the girl seemed too stop Antonio decided to approach his fellow Slytherin. "Having fun?" He asked as he made his way over to Jasmine.
