On the Move

Following on from the fun that the two sets of twins had at the Yule Ball, they had all decided to reconvene for another fun filled adventure and this time the setting would be the Forbidden Forest. None of the second years were put off by the fact that the Forest was supposed to be 'forbidden'. Its what Jasmine adored about her best friends, they were all up for absolutely anything and she loved them dearly for it.

She had instructed her friends to dress in dark colours and warm clothes in preparation for their exploration of the forest. Jazzy and Athena waited up in the Common Room with Antonio until the agreed time had arrived and then they all left for the Entrance Hall where they met Gray before sneaking out to the Forest. Jasmine led the way and carried her wand tightly in her hand all the way down to the Forest, just in case. When they finally reached the entrance she turned to her best friends and flashed them a smile. "We ready?"

Athena could not say she didn't have fun when she was around her best friends, the people who knew her best and accepted her for who she was, even her flaws. The first semester had been a breeze for the Slytherin, save the odd argument or two with her cousin but that was to be expected. She was ready for the second semester, and even better yet, for the adventure she was going on this time with Jazzy, Antonio and Gray. She had agreed with Jasmine what the dress code was to be and she quickly slipped onto her simple outfit before she headed out of the common room with her brother and best friend and together, the trio made their way to the Entrance Hall to retrieve Grayson. Athena followed her friends as they made their way to the Forbidden Forest, excitement beginning to take control. She couldn't wait to see how this would play out. "Never been more ready," she announced, before she too took out her wand just in case and gestured for them to enter the Forest with her.

From the moment they arrived at the school and discovered the existence of a forbidden forest Grayson knew that his sister would want to venture inside. She just wouldn't be able to resist doing something that someone else had told her not to do. What surprised him was how long it took for Jasmine to organise an outing to the forest with him and their twin friends Antonio and Athena. Grayson got dressed into dark blue jeans and a black zip-up hoodie as per Jasmine's dress code and made his way down to the entrance hall to meet the Slytherins. Grayson followed his sister and the twins down to the forest and waited on the edge. "Yeah sure lets do this," He added lacking the enthusiasm of his sister and Athena.

Whenever Athena and Jasmine came to him with an idea to do something Antonio knew it was going to be crazy and there was a chance it was going to get him in trouble. Not that he cared all that much. When the girls told him about their plan to go venture into the forest he was a little surprised the urge hadn't presented itself earlier. Antonio dressed in all black as per the dress code for the excursion and met the girls in the common room. After picking up Grayson in the entrance hall the four of them made their way down to the forest. "Ready," Antonio grumbled in response to Jasmine's question.

Once everyone had decided that they were ready, Jasmine and Athena led the boys through the clearing and into the Forest. She linked arms with her best friend and raised her wand a little higher so the group could see further ahead of them. She looked behind her to see the boys dragging their feet and she huffed and unlinked her arm from Athena and grabbed Antonio's and pushed him to the front with her. "Come on grumpy guts!" she teased "I know you'd like to be in bed right now but isn't being out here, with me... I mean us! so much better?" she asked him, holding onto his arm tightly as they continued to walk deeper into the Forest.

Athena noticed Jazzy falling behind and grabbing her brother’s arm and she shrugged, before doing the same with Gray. Both boys seemed grumpy or hesitant to go on their adventure and Athena wanted to pout at this, but chose not to. Pouting was for children. "Jazzy’s right," she piped up, sending a smile towards her best friend. "Being out here is so much better than sleeping. Sleeping is for old people," she finished, glancing at Grayson. She wondered if he agreed with her. Her comment had been pretty far-fetched. When the group had walked quite far into the forest, Athena began to feel more excited. Who knew what they would find?! She stopped walking and turned to her friends. "What should we do now?" she asked, mischief clear in her tone (and expression). Exploring was of course an option, but she asked anyway. Maybe they would come up with something else as well.

Grayson scowled as he saw Jasmine and Antonio walking together. There was just something about the boy that made him uneasy, though perhaps it was just his attachment to his sister. In an attempt not to think about that too much he turned his full attention to Athena who he was walking beside. "I suppose so," He agreed though what he wouldn't admit to was he was quite fond of sleeping even if Athena thought he was 'too young' to do so. "I dunno, I've never been this deep before," Grayson added.

Antonio had no idea what the girls had planned for them in the forest, assuming they had anything planned, but truth be told he was just glad for the opportunity to be out with Jasmine. Even if her brother and his sister were only a few feet away. He smirked when she asked if he would rather be out there with her, even though she corrected herself to us the slip was noticed. "I would rather be here with you...guys," Antonio teased. When the group came to a stop and Grayson said he'd never been so deep before he scoffed, of course he hadn't. "Did you girls have a plan or are we just gonna wonder deeper in?" He asked.
