"Kayleigh!" Desislav yelled down the hallway. He wasn't exactly sure where the Slytherin common room was, but he did know it was in this general direction. The teenager cupped his hands around his mouth and tried again. "Kayleigh Hunter!" he called, hoping that she wasn't somewhere stupid like the library or the student lounge. The Gryffindor hadn't even thought of that before he'd made his way into the cold dungeon area. Shivering, he hopped up and down as he waited, every few minutes calling her name. The Slytherins that walked past him gave him odd looks. He ignored them, knowing that they couldn't bring him into their common room. He'd asked. "Kaaaaaaaayleeeeeeeeeigh" he tried again. This was getting frustrating.

Kayleigh had been practicing her calligraphy in the student lounge, but she had soon realized that it was a stupid place to go; there were too many other people there and it was far too noisy for the young Slytherin. She packed her things up, before grumpily stomping down towards the Common Room. But before she got there, she heard her name being called. Kayleigh furrowed her eyebrows, confused. She quickened her pace, curious as to who was looking for her. Her name was called again, and as Kayleigh neared the voice, her confused look turned into a smile; she should have known. She walked up to him, stopping a few steps away. Kayleigh put a hand on her hip, her bag in her other hand. "Des. What are you doing?!" She asked, though still amused. "You are asking for trouble."

Desislav was ready to give up on finding Kayleigh when she appeared right in front of him. It had worked after all! "Nope, I'm asking for you" he replied, mirroring her by putting his hands on his hips. "Wait. You're right. I am asking for trouble" he added with a smirk before sticking his tongue out at her. The Gryffindor boy was glad that he'd found his friend. Kayleigh was always doing something interesting, or she was always at least willing to listen to his crazy ideas. "What's in the bag?" he asked, his gaze lingering on it.

The blonde rolled her eyes and shook her head, still smiling as Desislav retorted. But she couldn't think of a come back, so she just let it roll. Though, Kayleigh wouldn't ever admit it, if he ever asked her if that cat got her tongue, she'd just tell him that she decided to let him have a win for once. "What's up Des? What do you want?" Kayleigh asked. When Des asked what was in the bag, Kayleigh looked down at it for a second, and then with a serious face, replied "If I told you Des, I'd have to kill you."

Desislav took it as a victory when Kayleigh just changed the subject. He knew her well enough to know it meant that she didn’t have a comeback, a rarity and one he’d make sure to remember. With her response, Desi knew that he had to find out what was in the bag now. But, he wasn’t going to let that deter him from his real purpose in coming down here. “You can’t kill me yet, so don’t tell me. I need your help”[/b] he stated, grabbing her arm and pulling her away to a more private corner. Making sure they were alone, Desi spoke again. “Someone told me there’s a secret room in the castle. You have to help me find it” he added solemnly. The Gryffindor had never been so serious about anything in his life.

Kayleigh yelped when Desislav grabbed her arm and pulled her away. She let herself be pulled away, as she was curious as to what he so desperately needed her for; but also mostly because Des was too strong, though she'd never admit it. And she was faster than him! So at least she had that on him. "What?!" Kayleigh growled quietly when he had finally stopped. She made to move her arm from his grip until she heard that there was a secret room. Her mind was now solely thinking of having a secret place to herself! And Des, but she didn't mind him. Kayleigh bit her lip, thinking where to start. Before stating her excited thoughts, Kayleigh placed her free hand on her hip. "And if I do help you Desislav? What will I get out of it?" She asked, smirking. "Plus, who told you? What else did they say?" Kayleigh asked, a bit less smirky.

Desi narrowed his eyes at Kayleigh. This could be tricky. "What do you want?" he asked slowly, wondering what she might say. Kayleigh had never asked him for anything before. He knew that he had her though because she was trying to get more information out of him. "I don't know! Crazy stuff!" he exclaimed. "It was LeAnn" he stated. She liked to trick him sometimes, but he didn't think his biggest sister was doing that here. "She said that the room gives you what you need. Doesn't that sound amazing? I'd never have to study again, Kayleigh! I'd have all the prank stuff I could ever want" he said, his voice filled with awe already and he hadn't even found the room. If it didn't exist, he was going to be so mad at LeAnn.

Kayleigh thought about what she might get out of the deal. Of course, she didn't mind just helping Desi, but she knew that this was bound to take a lot of work. "Well, when we find it, I will want use of the room as well, and sometimes maybe just me." She said, though she wasn't sure she'd ever actually kick him out if he wanted to use the room as well. Kayleigh listened, astounded that the room would give them what they needed. A laugh formed on her face as Desislav talked about the prank things. Of course that would be what he wanted. She grabbed him by the shoulders. "Des, not just prank stuff. Think of the possibilities! I could practice my sword fighting, find books on spells that I've never heard of, this is incredible!" Kayleigh squealed, not knowing if Des even knew she liked that stuff. But the blonde was too excited to care. "Where do we start? How do we find it?" Kayleigh grilled.

Desi listened to her condition, his jaw clenched. He sighed, not happy about it. "Fiiiiiiiiiiine" he breathed out slowly. Desi knew that if anyone would make him stick to a promise, it would be Kayleigh. She never seemed to forget anything. When she grabbed his shoulders, trying to get him to see the bigger picture, Des knew he'd found his partner-in-crime. But then she ruined it with the mention of, "Books?" he made a disgusted face. "Don't make me regret telling you, Kayleigh!" He shrugged his shoulders. "I dunno. She didn't tell me much. She said there were clues to help us find the room but we'd really have to concentrate to find it. But that's it" he finished lamely. It wasn't much at all.

At the agreement to Kayleigh's terms, a huge smile filled her face, even though Des was obviously not happy with it. She was sure that once the time actually came, and they had found the room, he was probably going to lay down his laws. But Kayleigh didn't mind at that moment. She was about ready to find this place! Especially if it meant she was able to practice her calligraphy and spells in peace; she wouldn't have to go to the Lounge anymore!
Kayleigh laughed at Desislav's response to her books. "Books aren't bad Des! They help us learn...stuff!" She tried lamely to encourage him. "And - and you'd probably, definitely still need to study." She said sternly. Kayleigh would not be happy if Des decided he didn't need the school anymore. With the exception of his brother, his was one of the only ones who's company Kayleigh actually liked being in. She pulled her tongue at him, her eyes narrowing (though jokingly) at Des saying he'd regret telling her. Kayleigh huffed when he said that he didn't know where to start. The information he had wasn't helpful at all! "Des!" She exclaimed in frustration, putting her hands on her hips. "Why didn't you ask more? Now I will have to do all the work." She grumbled. But, an idea formed in her head, and she smirked at Des. "You know what Des, the best place to start is probably in the library." She grinned.

Desislav pretended to vomit as Kayleigh tried to convince him of the benefit of books. He didn't care what she or his mother said, books just didn't catch his attention much. The Gryffindor knew that he should have asked for more information from his sister. There just hadn't been enough time. She'd only mentioned it right before he'd left her house. "Well, why do you think I came to you, Kayleigh?" he said, his voice full of exasperation. As she smirked at him, Desi waited to hear what she'd have to say. He tried to think of a different plan, but after a moment, he realized her plan wasn't bad. "Uggggh. Fine. Lead the way. You're doing the reading though" he stated, stomping towards the stairs.
