Full Name:
- Olivia Cheyne Lewin. Rarely is she called by her actual first name, she is always known as Viv. She had numerous nicknames, few which have anything to do with her proper name. Listing them all would take far too long. Cheyne is pronounced Shane and is just a different way of spelling the name. She was named Olivia after her cousin, Olivia Jayde Lewin, who drowned when Viv was two. Viv was officially called Starlight until she was two years old and had her name changed because her parents got over their ridiculous Hippie phase and realized that Starlight was a name for a horse and not at all a good name for a person.
Date of Birth:
- January 1st 2016. Viv was technically born on December the 31st 2015 at 12:58am, but her birth certificate says January. Viv honestly doesnt care what day she was really born on as she gets to celebrate her birthday during New Years Eve parties anyway.
Current Age:
- Viv is currently eleven years old.
Basic Appearance:
- Viv was born with red hair, which resulted in much teasing. None of her family has red hair, so Viv gets teased a little because of it. Instead of being ashamed of her hair, Viv loves it. Her hair is quite dark and sometimes mistaken for brown when she is inside. Her eyes are blue, though her left eye sometimes looks like it has a purple tinge in it. Purple eyes are common for her family and Viv is quite disappointed that she didnt really inherit the family gene. Though not considered overly tall, Viv is not at all a midget in comparison to people her age. At the age of eleven, she is exactly 5 foot, but she is considered short by her familys standards.
Viv isnt going to appear on the cover of a fashion magazine anytime soon, as she doesnt possess extremely beauty. That annoys Viv somewhat, as she is quite a vain little person and values beauty very highly. Shes not as slim as she could be, but by no means is she overweight! She possesses a sweet tooth the size of Africa, which has given her a slight chubbiness. She is quite athletic though and can lose weight easily.
Vivs skin is very fair. She doesnt like to get a tan because she thinks that shell look like an Oompa Loompa. After reading Twilight, however, Viv forced herself to get a little bit of a tan so she wouldnt look like one of those idiotic vampires. She also lessened the amount of glitter than she wore in her hair after she read the series (just slightly though, because Viv loves glitter).
Vivs sense of style changes almost daily. She flatly refuses to wear anything that her mother has chosen for her, and also things that she sees in shop windows. If a garment or outfit is popular, it will not be seen on Viv. She does like Hello Kitty clothing and it is her epic clothing weakness. Her other weakness is a fondness for accessories especially Fedora hats, especially sparkly ones. A lot of Vivs clothes are bought second-hand, often from eBay, mostly because of her no-popular-clothing rule. She chooses to buy second-hand clothes because other people wont own the same kind of clothing as her. She will always wear jeans and Converse though, regardless of what everyone else is wearing.
Personality:
- On the outside, Viv seems like a nice enough person, though she can be slightly annoying at times. Viv is the kind of person who will seek revenge if somebody does something to upset her. She is a very curious person and likes to know everything about everyone.
She also gets very attached to people and inanimate objects. She owns a large collection of Barbie dolls, and has given names and personalities to every single one. She refuses to give away any of her childhood toys for fear of hurting their feelings. She always wears the first pair of socks that she finds; otherwise she feels that she will hurt the feelings of the first pair if she chooses another. She doesnt like people to know about that fact.
Viv is a total klutz. If there is something to trip over, 9 out of 10 times, Viv will trip over it. Its even worse when she is holding something, because she will trip over and break whatever she is holding. So many glass ornaments have been shattered because of Vivs clumsiness. Viv is usually a stubborn person. If she doesnt want to do something, she will not do it. This includes doing her homework. If she has made up her mind, there is no changing it, unless, you dare her. She doesnt respond well to dares. Even the most idiotic thing, such as bungee jumping off the top of a bridge (which she did once, as a dare), she will do it without question. Viv gets really mad if someone calls her a wimp, which is the reason why she always accepts a dare. Sometimes things she has been dared to do land her in a lot of trouble.
She likes being around people, and she is quite social. Viv doesnt place extreme value in education and feels that she is doing well enough in school if she just scrapes a pass in a subject. Though she doesnt really care about her assignments, she can be a bit of perfectionist in her own little way. She never finishes a piece of homework until the second she has to hand it in, because she always changes parts until she is sure that she will not be embarrassed by her work.
Viv isnt stupid, and she could easily get good grades if she wanted to. But, Viv lack the motivation to actually do well.
She cant sit still for very long and spends most of her classes drawing. Viv doesnt like to read unless she has to, but she occasionally finds a decent book to read. She likes fantasy and sci-fi books the most. Viv finds mysteries and horror stories boring and a little pointless.
She nicknames everyone. She doesnt call many people by their actual name, unless they specifically ask her to. She nicknames her teachers as well, and sometimes accidentally calls them by their nicknames. She doesnt always give people complimentary nicknames, but it all depends on how she feels about that person. She once had a Science teacher called Mrs. Smith, whom she called Smithium stupidis. Viv earned herself several detentions after her teacher found out.
Viv loves to fight with people, strangely enough. She doesnt like fighting with her friends, but loves to annoy her enemies. She is very good at making enemies because she knows far too many insults for a person of her age. Viv isnt opposed to physical fighting, but is aware that she cant hit people or she will get caught.
Viv is not a bully. She only fights when someone insults her, or her friends, first. She is a very loyal person. Viv does not take being betrayed very well. She is tough though, and will not cry in front of anyone. She sees crying as being weak and Viv does not want to be thought of as a weak person. She cares, far too much, about what people think. Popularity matters to her, but not as much as having good friends. She would much rather have a few good friends than having people she barely knows look up to her.
Vivs ideas of right and wrong are, to some extent, fuzzy. She sees The Law as guidelines more than actual rules. [/pirates.of.the.carrirbean.reference] She knows that stealing, murder, etc, etc are bad and that she should not do anything really bad. She does, however, have a slight issue with graffiti. As a self-proclaimed artist, Viv believes that everything must be colourful and her bag usually contains a bottle of spray paint for emergency redecorating of a wall.
Viv has hundreds upon hundreds of things that she hates. She will not eat meat, with the exception of bacon. She will not eat pork, only bacon. Viv has a strange distaste of the colour orange. She doesnt like basketball because the ball is orange. She also hates oranges or anything with oranges in it. She does like orange juice though, but will only drink it if it isnt orange. She uses opaque cups and drink bottles so she cant see it. Also, pink food colouring works too.
Viv doesnt like the heat. She despises summer because it is the hottest season. She isnt fond of swimming either. Its not so much the actual water that Viv doesnt like, she just doesnt like not being able to touch the bottom of the pool/lake/sea.
Although there are probably millions of other things that Viv dislikes, there are quite a few things that Viv actually likes too. She is a fan of Star Wars and calls herself a Jedi Knight. She also likes Star Trek too, but thinks that Star Wars is a lot more awesome. Viv has been known to carry around a light-up toy light saber.
Unfortunately, her light saber was eaten by the neighbours dog. She is hoping to get one for Christmas. Viv likes Lord of the Rings, and is fluent in Elvish and Klingon. She can also speak Japanese, but not as smoothly as Elvish. Viv has plans to learn Navi. She also has a slight obsession with Pokemon, and owns lots of Pokemon cards.
Viv can seem a little tomboyish, but she does like girly stuff too. She does like fashion, but wishes she was actually pretty enough to look good in OTT clothing. She loves dolls. She has a collection of Barbie dolls that have their own packing box for when Viv moves house. Viv also likes plants. Her favourite plant is the Venus Flytrap, although she has never actually owned one and when she starts to earn her own money aspires to recruit an army of Flytraps to conquer the fly population that seems to surface in the hot weather she hates so much.
Family:
- Vivs mother is Kathryn Amanda Lewin, a British ex-Ravenclaw with a love of muggles. Her first husband, Vivs dad, was a muggle and died of Cancer. Kathryn had known him before she had gone to Hogwarts. His name was Edward Aspir. Kathryn decided to keep her surname instead of taking his. Kathryn remarried to a wizard who she had known during her time at Hogwarts. Her new husband, Alexander Kale, shared Kathryns love of muggle and the outdoors.
Viv has two sisters, one elder and one younger. Her eldest sister, Lauren, is thirteen and her younger sister, Eurydice, is nine. Viv has an okay relationship with her sisters, and the three are quite close.
Lauren is known by many nicknames, but Vivs favourite one is Lola Viv gave her sister the nickname because of the song Lola by The Kinks. Laurens hates the song, so Viv sings it at every opportunity. Lauren is a very intelligent person, though very antisocial. She chooses to be home-schooled instead of going to Hogwarts because she doesnt want to be around lots of people. Lauren is very daring, and she and Viv have been on lots of epic adventures together.
Viv calls Eurydice Ekans after the Pokemon. Ekans is snake backwards, and according to Greek mythology, Eurydice was killed by a snake bite. Eurydice is a witch, so she may attend Hogwarts when she is old enough. She may choose home-schooling though, but she hasnt made up her mind about it yet. Eurydice is quieter than her two sisters.
Pets:
- Viv has no pets because her family moves around so much. She desperately wants a rabbit and may get one when she starts at Hogwarts. Viv owned a Patagonian Mara for a few months when she was living in Southern Argentina, but had to leave it there when she moved.
Area of Residence:
- Definite hometown Well, Viv doesnt have one of them. She was born in Auckland, but didnt live there very long. Shes lived all over the world and grew up in some of the weirdest places. Her homes were usually in big cities, and sometimes small towns. Her parents adored remote areas, and Viv lived in a cave for a month during 2024, before moving due to the fact that Vivs elder sister had begun to go crazy because of lack of internet connection and cell phone reception. Viv sees that as a stupid reason and misses that particular house a lot.
Currently, Viv lives in Brightstone Village. When she begins school, her family will probably move again. Her family doesnt stay in one place for more than a few months.

- Viv is a half-blood witch. Her biological father was a muggle and her mother is a witch.
Heritage:
- Viv had some Scottish and French ancestors. Her extended family are spread around Scotland, France and England.
Interests or Hobbies:
- She loves movies.

- Spiders! Spiders are scary! Poisonous spiders are even scarier!

- Being pretty. Viv is very self-conscious of her appearance and a little vain. She would see herself surrounded in people who were slightly less pretty than her.
