With spring in the air Tabitha found herself wondering the Hogwarts grounds more, and more. It had always been hard for Tabitha to stay inside during bad weather, so she always took advantage of it when it was nice and sunny out. The young Gryffindor was skipping around humming whatever song had been popular on the radio when she had left for school when she came across a tree that looked absolutely perfect for climbing. Tabitha felt an itch in her hands. Her mom had told her not to climb trees at school since she had trouble getting herself down, but when the most perfect climbing tree ever is standing right there in front of you you tend to ignore your mother. Tabitha rubbed her hands together to warm them up, and set to work.
Tabitha hoisted herself branch after branch until she was sitting as high as the tree would support her weight. The sun glowed in between the spring leaves, and flowers. A few bugs were crawling around, and Tabitha watched them with great interest. If she were at home with her friends right now she would of course be picking them up and showing them off to her friend, Janet, who absolutely hated bugs of any kind. It was all in good fun of course. After a while of sitting still in the tree Tabitha began to feel stiff. Maybe it was time to try, and get down. Tabitha looked down, and gulped. She wasn't afraid of heights necessarily, but slipping, and falling. Slowly she moved her feet first hanging on to a branch for support. She did this for another two steps until when she put her hand in place she touched something that bit her. Tabitha let go from the branch in shock, and started to fall. Thank-fully the young girl managed to catch her legs on one of the stronger branches, and ended up hanging upside down in the tree. A little shocked, and bruised up on the back of her knees, but fine. "Can someone help me get down from here?" She called out once she got her bearings.
