Old Friemds Meet Again

Jaedan was sitting in the library, reading The Life and Times Of Albus Dumbledore. It was her favorite and had discussed it many times with her best friend, Alice, or should she say, Old Best Friend. They hadn't spoken in weeks, after the whole Isobel incident.

Forgetting about Alice, Jaedan placed her book in her bag and went to find another book. Hopefully How To Avoid Grindylows In Deep Water.

Jaedan often questioned her sorting placement. She was quite bright and often was top.

 

[Alice Hills]

Alice was in the library, replacing books that she had borrowed. Being a Ravenclaw was great, and reading so much was nothing unusual for Alice, but there was an underlying pressure to continue to do well. Having never discussed it with any other students, Alice didn't know whether it was just her or whether it was everyone that felt that way. So, as she replaced her books, she smiled to the librarian whom she had met several times, and started to find another book to read. The library was commonly busy and Alice sighed to herself, seeing a rare couple of seats. Alice wasn't naturally a good sports woman, in the sense that she was hopeless at every sport imaginable. Climbing the endless stairs to the Ravenclaw tower was therefore harder and more tiresome. Sighing at the prospect of having to repeat this effort to gain a comfy seat, she scanned the library one last time. As she turned to leave, she caught sight of a familiar face, one she hadn't seen in ages. Smiling, she waded her way between the shelves and smiled at the girl. "Hey Jaedan! Haven't seen you in ages! How are you?" She asked, smiling at the girl and giving her a quick hug.

Jaedan jumped at the sight of Alice. "Wha..? oh Alice!" she gripped Alive tightly in a bear hug. "Ditto! Oh! Right, yea, how was kissing my loser brother? Haven't you heard? He's part of the Dark Elites now! she moaned.

Alice smiled at the sight of her friend, glad that nothing bad had come between them. "Urgh, don't remind me." She moaned, laughing slightly in a light way to remind Jaedan that she had no hard feelings against her just because she had a mean brother. "Is he? I guess that Isobel is as well then. But, i don't know really, im not in contact with her. So how bad is it then? He hasn't been mean to you again has he?" She asked, her tone one of a protective friend, worried about the girl who seemed to be bullied constantly by her twin brother. It was unfair and Alice felt saddened at the injustice of it all. After all, people should only have to cope with a certain amount of suffering, and it seemed that Jaedan had already had too much. "You said you were moving to Beauxbatons. I haven't seen you in ages and i didn't want you to go without saying goodbye." She said with another smile, hoping that her friend wouldn't leave.

Jaedan laughed at her friends remark. It was true, especially what after Danielle said about her brotehrs mouth tasting like dirt. She shuddered at the thought of Danielle. "Hey Alice, do you think Danielle is still angry with me?" she asked her friend. Jaedan and Danielle had beenf riends once but after an incident when Jaedan kissed Ryan (which was an accident, turns out her drink was spiked by her brother!) Danielle had depised Jaedan.

When Jaedan heard that Isobel had joined the Dark Elites aswell, Jaedan smirked. "Maybe he and Isobel will dominate the world one day with their luuuurve." she joked, thinking of what would happen to the world if Nick actually dated Isobel.

Jaedan giggled when Alice mentioned Beauxbatons. "Don't worry Alice! My mum decided I was too happy here. Also, can you imagine me, Jaedan Elaviel Feanor, queen of tomboys, at a posh school? Can you imagine nick?!" she laughed at the thought. She looked at her shorts which had braces (click here) on them and her white t shirt with high tops.

" Have you seen Ryan recently? I swear he's been avoiding e or something!" she asked.

Alice laughed lightly, but quietened down when i few people in the library looked over at the two laughing girls. Thinking about her question, she pondered on the thought for a second before replying. "Im not sure. I haven't spoken to her in ages. I guess she seemed like the sort of person to forgive you, but you need to talk to her about it. If you want me to, i can if it would be better." She offered, smiling at her friend with a warm touch. She liked Jaden, and didn't think that Danielle was the sort of person to hold grudges, but it was worth checking it out if Jaden was worried about it all. A theatrical groan escaped her lips and she laughed. "They might actually be good together. They both seem to hate me!" She added, a light laugh on the end to show she held no grudges. "How is your brother? I mean, are you ok since he continued to bully you?" She asked, her tone one of care and worry. "Well im pleased your staying." Alice smiled again, trying to work her friend out. Sometimes, she was quiet and fragile, but other times she was exactly as she had put it - a tomboy. "No, i haven't seen him in ages." She mused, trying to work out why she hadn't been around so many of her friends in such a long time.
