Sakura was still in a daze at the sudden changing of the seasons. She had just left a balmy Japanese summer with her cousins not even months ago to head right back into a blooming spring and her mind was still haveing trouble with that adjustment. It would be even odder when her Twelth birthday rolled around and it would be in the middle of the dying fall, she loved being surrounded by her namesake but she unfortunately wouldn't be able to see the Sakura trees in full bloom again for another seven years, something that upset her so. She would have to settle with their beauty diluted and filtered through pictures sent to her, but nothing compared to sitting in a large sakura garden while the flowers were in full bloom, the wind blowing ever so slightly causing their sweet aroma to play with her nose as she was enchanted with their beauty.

But if she had to pick a close second she would definitely say that it was the tranquil garden that laid on a small patch of Hogwarts New Zealands monstrous grounds. Sakura was currently perched under a peach tree that was bountiful with fruit. She had used her climbing skills to scale up the tree and get a few of the best looking peaches for her to eat, she loved almost all fruit and peaches were certainly no exception. These were good and ripe too, perfect for eating. She rested her head back against the trunk of the large firm tree trunk and let her eyes glaze over as she focused on the sunset in the far horizon as she nibbled a peach.

Hiria was taking a walk in the Hogwarts Garden, when she saw a girl about the same age as her leaning up against the trunk of a tree. She looked a bit lonely, so Hiria went over and said "Hello. I'm Hiria. What's your name?"

Sakura soon found herself shaken out of her slight daze by a small voice ringing out over the small distance between Sakura and the source and after blinking her eyes a few times like someone coming out of a trance or an animal just waking up from a winters nap she looked up at the source, glad the sun wasn't at a blinding angle as she made out the figure of a girl that looked to be around her age, probably a fair bit taller had Sakura been standing. The girl seemed rather friendly and lord only knew how bad Sakura needed to make friends, having been here a month and still unable to say she had accomplished that goal. But it was a bit awkward to simply be sitting on the ground while the person you were talking to was towering above you so she slowly rose to a standing position, bringing both the peach she was eating and another one of the bigger ones up with her, leaving the rest of them in a small pile at her feet. "Oh, hey there Hiria." she said, pausing a bit as a wave of nervousness came over her. After a few seconds she felt the nerve to finish what she was going to say once more. "My names Sakura, Sakura Aiko. Would you like a peach?" she asked politely, handing it out to the girl before giving a nervous small bow out of habit.

"Hello Sakura" Hiria smiled. "It's all right, you have it, I don't really like peaches." Hiria said replying to Sakura's question. "So, What house are you in?" Hiria asked.
