A place to talk. Where can we find a place to talk? Kayleigh wondered to herself, as she walked along the Corridor. She was sure Desi was behind her, though she wasn't sure he was being much help in finding a spot. In fact, he was probably doing a trail of stink pellets that would show everyone exactly where they were, like that stupid muggle story. Kayleigh stopped short as she saw a door, that she was quite sure hadn't been there before. "Des? Do you know where this goes to?" She asked, figuring he would because it was closer to his Dorm, and he had been at the school longer.

A room where we can talk, A room where we can talk... Desi was thinking to himself as he trailed behind Kayleigh. She hadn't answered his earlier question- calling him a brat wasn't an answer- and that made him nervous. Desislav didn't want to kiss Kayleigh again. At least he didn't think he did. And Kayleigh didn't want to either, right? All of the things Marius, the more experienced of them, and the older boys had told him had him really confused now. His hands were stuffed in his pockets and he watched Kayleigh's ponytail sway as she walked. It was hypnotic.

As she called to him, Desi broke out of the daze. "Huh?" What a silly question. It wasn't like rooms just appea- "What the hell?" he replied, his brow furrowing. There was usually a long wall here. Instantly, his wand was out and he darted in front of Kayleigh in case the room held something dangerous. Magic couldn't always be trusted. He glanced back at Kayleigh and then reached for the knob. "Do you think this is..." he broke off as he opened to discover a regular looking room. Surely, the special room would be full of magical gadgets they'd never even heard about and a sword collection like Kayleigh wanted. "Nope, just regular. But we can talk in here. There are lots of places to sit" he noted as she stepped in and then he followed.

Okay, that was cute Kayleigh thought, before mentally slapping herself. Desislav was not cute, and she didn't need him jumping in front of her to protect her. She could look after herself. Kayleigh felt herself getting excited when Des started his question before it quickly dropped again when he stated it was a normal room. The blonde stepped in and looked around. "How bizarre. I never knew this room was here. Though, it would've been cool if it was that secret room. Have you still been looking for it?" Kayleigh asked, finding the best spot and sitting down. She had to admit, she'd stopped looking for it when she was dating Orwell, and more so when her and Des were fighting.

Desislav shrugged. The school had many secrets, but this wasn't one of them. It was just a room. Looking around at all of his options, Desi walked over to a hammock and gingerly sat on it, using his feet to swing. He'd always loved hammocks. When he was sure that he wouldn't get caught up in it, he replied. "Nope. I sort of gave up" the Gryffindor replied quickly as if it was of little consequence. He didn't want to admit that finding the room had lost its fun without his best friend to help because that would be admitting that Kayleigh was his best friend to Kayleigh, and that was definitely a no go. "So, what'd you wanna talk about?" he asked, as he settled in more comfortably on the hammock, his back now resting on it as he continued to swing.

Kayleigh nodded her head, still looking around the room when Desislav said he'd given up. She wondered if it was because it was too hard, or if it was because she wasn't helping, but she shook the thought out of her head knowing that was thinking too highly of herself. "Well, maybe we can start looking for it again - in the new school year or something." Kayleigh said. It would be nice to have something extra to work towards. She looked at Des, thinking how weird it was that there was a hammock in the room when he asked her what she wanted to talk about. "Oh - yeah - uh -" Kayleigh started. Had she forgotten already? What did she want to talk about? "I dunno. Just wanted things to be normal again. Are you and Urie still pranking everyone?" Kayleigh asked, grabbing at straws of what to talk about. She sat down mindlessly, before realizing she was sitting on a sofa. "Des? Was this sofa always here?"

The teenager was enjoying swinging on the hammock, his gaze on the ceiling, as he listened to Kayleigh. The more he listened, the more convinced he became that she’d made up having wanted to talk to him. He remained silent on that though because he was just glad that they were talking again. “Yea, we took a little bit of a break but we’re back at it. In fact, I have to meet with him later to finalize some plans for the end of the year” Desislav had the most mischievous expression on his face as he delivered that message. As Kayleigh asked him about the sofa, the teenager’s gaze dropped to his friend and the seat in question. “Always here as in when we walked into the room?” he asked, sort of confused by what she was asking. “Yea, I think so” he shrugged. He hadn’t really paid much attention to a boring old sofa, not once he’d caught glimpse of the free- standing hammock in the room. Looking around now, he realized that there were a lot of seating options – a rocking chair, a beanbag chair, and more. “You’ve picked the most boring seat of all, Kay” he noted as he continued to swing.

"Uh oh." was Kayleigh's immediate reply to Des saying they had plans to finalise. She remembered the prank the two of them pulled at the beginning of the year, and she knew that the two of the boys pranking together was never a good idea. The blonde made the decision that as soon as she saw the boys together, she would run in the opposite direction. At Desislav's reply, Kayleigh looked around the room, confused. She couldn't grasp the concept that this room was just there, that she hadn't heard about the seat room yet, and that it wasn't even being used by anyone else. Her mind kept flicking back to the secret room, and Kayleigh couldn't shake it. She smirked, pretending to glare at Des with his comment about her seat. "No, I chose the most comfortable seat. I'm very practical. No but think about it Des, how sure are we that this isn't the secret room? Because - listen - why would this room even exist? Why isn't it being used by anyone else, or - you know?" Kayleigh said, feeling excited again.

"Practical" Desi parroted the word, his nose wrinkled as if he'd smelled a dung bomb. He looked around the room, skeptical at first. She was making a good point, but - "But...this room wouldn't be good at all for me to work on prank spells or for you to practice with your swords." There wasn't enough open spaces, and he could just imagine that bean bag being hacked into pieces by one of Kayleigh's swords. Desi had never thought he'd see the day when he was the more practical of the two. He shuddered at the thought.

The blonde was looking for a reason for this room to be the secret room. Des was right, of course, there wasn't enough room, but she would still definitely come to this room when she needed peace and quiet - for at the moment, it didn't seem as if anyone knew about it. Glancing around the room again, Kayleigh noticed an area she was sure wasn't there before. Immediately she leaped up and moved swiftly towards it. "I could practice my swords here?" Kayleigh commented, gesturing to the open space that seemingly appeared. Though surely it was there before, they just didn't notice it.

Desislav looked at the area that she moved to and nodded his head after a moment. “Yea, that would be a good spot” he admitted as he continued to swing on his hammock. Shutting his eyes, Desi just swung quietly for a few moments. He was just enjoying the space, happy to be back with his friend, Kayleigh. “Hey Kayleigh?” he called out, opening his eyes. When she glanced his way, he continued. “I’m glad we’re friends again” he added, a smile on his face.
