Cleo had been in the Library late and never realized that it had gotten so late, she only realized when her Aunt came up to her and ushered her out of the library and told her to get to her dorm before she got in trouble, she hardly had time to gather her books correctly so there was paper sticking out of pages from her various notes, her note book was sticking out of her bag since she had no time to stack her books neatly. The Blonde stumbled up a few stairs while she tried to rush as quickly as she could to her dorm, every time she stumbled she dropped a book or a pencil or something and would have to go back down a few stairs to retrieve it. Her Frustration levels were getting high now, her blue eyes were holding back light tears and she wasn't sure why, maybe because it was late and she kept on dropping things which was frustrating her so much that her mind was not able to react properly. Cleo sniffed and focused back on what she was doing.

The Blonde carefully leaned over to pick up a dropped book she tried to slow her pace up the stairs but she was in too much of a Panic for going slowly to see justifiable. Cleo finally made it to the last few stairs and sighed with relief, which she really should have because knowing Typical clumsy Cleo, she tripped on the second last step and went flying into the ground, she squeezed her eyes shut she was having such a bad day. She refused to let her emotions get to her, but when she peeled her face off the cool floor she realized that she had smashed her glasses horrifically, one of the lenses has flown off somewhere the other was smashed and the side had split. Cleo sat up straight and pulled her glasses off her face and sighed 'Why Me, Why now, why today', she tried to think if someone had cursed her with bad lucky. Cleo pulled her glasses off her face and tossed them across the room in frustration, and just because she had such bad luck the frame had cut her cheek a little when it broke, blood was starting to reach the surface she could feel it but she didnt have time to sit in the hallway and mope, if a teacher came along she would be in big trouble.

The Distraught second year moved on her hands and Knee's and started to gather her books together and make sure they were tidy this time, neatly placing the notes in the pages so they wern't sticking out and getting ruined and shut the book before moving to the next one, there were seven books in total and 5 of them were rather large ones with a lot of notes, but she tried her best to work quickly. Cleo felt panic course through her body, she wasn't used to panic and tried to focus on her confident veela-ness to combat it, a skill she had been working on a lot lately to make sure people who tried to bother her would leave her alone, she had become confident enough to use it but it wasn't on tap just yet.

Cleo sniffed again and combated her tears as she scurried away.

Heath James felt like a serious jerk. Most of the time he did not mind being a jerk, but did he seriously need to be so mean to Cleo. She had done nothing to him, and he ended up pushin her away. He hated that about himself. He was so scared of getting stepped on by others that he forced them away. Other than Satsuke, Heath did not have anyone to talk to. Cleo could have been someone he would go to, but now he was sure she hated him. She probably did not want to see his face ever again. Heath sighed and adjusted how he leaned against the glass window. He felt so lonely. He had not felt like this in a long time. He hated the feeling of loneliness. It made him want to go drown himself. Heath would never do that though. He loved himself far to much to even attempt to kill himself.

Heath heard something fall on the ground. It was dark in the tower, so Heath was not able to get a good look at who had dropped something. He could tell it was a girl, and he felt like there was something urging him to move closer to her. Soon enough, she was done with gathering her books. She had turned and started to leave. Heath quickly stood up and walked quickly after her. "Cleo?"

Cleo stopped when she heard her name called, she knew that voice. Cleo turned around and saw Heath, she could tell it was him even without her glasses she dropped her books again. Cleo's heart pounded in her chest, she didn't want to go through the same torment as last time. 'Heath, I.. Well I'm going back to my Common room I was up late studying and I am... Just Leaving'Took a step back from her cluttered mess and wiped her cheek, smearing the blood across the side of her face just to make matters worse. 'Please, Just take my glasses or my books with all my notes or something.' she pleaded, her voice small. The Blonde wanted to break down but she couldn't do it now with Heath near her, she sniffed softly waiting for Heath's remark about her being incompetent or something.

Cleo nervously rubbed her palms together or pull at her hair, rotating between each movement while she waited to see what Heath would do.

Short reply... Sorry!

Heath froze. Cleo was bleeding? Why was she bleeding? Bleeding was bad, and Heath really did not like blood. Luckily, he always carried around a handkerchief. Heath pulled his green handkerchief from is back pocket and walked closer to Cleo. She obviously did not want him around, but he was not going to let her trip around with a bloody cheek. Heath placed one hand on Cleo's face and he used the other to wipe the blood off of her cheek. He remembered when he used to be a klutz. Epiphany had slapped that right out of him, now he was much more coordinated. "Why would I take your stuff. It's not like I want to help you care it down the stairs or anything." he said and shoved the handkerchief in her arms when he was done cleaning her face. "Clean that before you give t back. Okay." he stated. He was not going to ask her to clean it. She had to clean it. It was contaminated with her blood. Heath scratched the back of his head. He did have something to say to Cleo, but he had already said two jerkish things. He disliked that being mean had become a habit for him. "And about the other day, I'm sorry. I was really mean, and it was really unnecessary. he apologized to Cleo and shoved his hands in his pockets.

Cleo flinched when Heath approached her, he pulled out a handkerchief and started to clean her cheek, she relaxed slightly when he seemed to be tending to her cheek. Cleo cast her eyes to the ground, she felt slightly ashamed of her attitude towards Heath but she was having a bad day and his attitude last time she saw him was less than friendly.

Cleo folded the handkerchief that he shoved in her arms and slipped it in her pocket and nodded, her blue eyes looking up at him slightly. She was confused, who was this person, and he wasn't like the boy with the attitude that harassed her before. Cleo looked at Heath in shock when he apologised to her, she wasn't sure if it was genuine or not but it did come as a surprise. Cleo's bright blue eyes were blazing as they tried to decipher what he just said she wasn’t sure if it was the truth or not. 'Apology Accepted?' she said quietly still not believing what he had said. Cleo's blue eyes studied the boy curiously, she was picking every detail of his face to see if he was going to laugh at her for being stupid and believing him or tell her that he actually put some potion on the handkerchief that he used to clean up her face. Cleo's blue eyes were standing out brightly now that her glasses weren't on her face, she remembered her sister... or rather half-sister would often say the best thing about her was her eyes and she had to cover them up. Without the dark frame of the glasses in front of her eyes they shone and her hair seemed to glow a beautiful golden colour.

Cleo pursed her lips slightly 'Why are you up here Heath? Its passed curfew' she said not wanting him to get in trouble.

Heath rolled his eyes. She didn't believe him? He had expected that. It was her fault if he did not accept his apology. Heath was truly sorry about how he had treated Cleo earlier. If she did not believe him then it was all on her. He had been as serious as he could be when apologizing to her. She shouldn't have had to look over him like she was to see if he truly was sorry. "I am sorry, Cleo." he assured her. He just wanted her to stop looking at him like he was some sort of specimen. He was human just like her. He made mistakes. Heath shrugged. "I stay up here until Satsuke goes to sleep. Then I go to sleep." he told her. It was true. Heath always wore a watch, and he had an idea about how long it took for his roommate to go to sleep. Heath cared about his roommate so much that he wanted to be able to go to sleep knowing that Satsuke was asleep.

Cleo felt like a horrible for judging Heath the way she did, she wasn’t that kind of person but Heath had upset her last time she didn’t know any other way to react. Cleo hung her head low again and looked up at Heath he apologized again and she pouted slightly 'Sorry Heath, I don’t mean to be harsh, you… i… Apology accepted' she murmured quietly she couldn’t explain to him that he had upset her last time, he seemed to enjoy making her upset and she didn’t want to give him the satisfaction. Cleo rubbed her eyes slightly her vision adjusting to not using glasses, she could see Heath perfectly find it was just the small print on the books she was having trouble reading which was making it hard to sort out her notes and put them into the correct books, Cleo squinted and listened to Heath.

'You mentioned Sasuke before, who is he.. Or she?' she said slightly confused now what the gender of this person was, it seemed odd to her that Heath was waiting for someone to go to sleep then going to sleep themselves, Cleo squinted at some paper for a good minute before she realised that it was a blank and she turned it over to see the text on the other side and started to try to decipher it slowly.

Heath nodded. It was in her best interest to accept his apologizes. A loner like her did not want any enemies. Especially enemies who were connected to Epiphany. "Good." he said simply. He was afraid anything else he said would pit the two against each other again. He really did not want that. Heath checked his watch. He had about 30 minutes. Cleo, once again, was starting to get boring, but that was nothing new. Heath's interests had sort of changed. He was more interested in the dark side. Heath rolled his eyes. "Seriously, Cleo? I don't share a room with a girl!" he said in an annoyed tone. He probably deserved to be in Ravenclaw more than she did. It was like she was always clueless. Plus, everyone knew that 'Satsuke' was a boy name in Japan.

Cleo was taken aback with his tone, she looked down and continued to clumsily sort papers, putting Herbology notes into the Astronomy book and Astronomy notes into the Magical Creatures Book, Cleo had notes and books for almost every subject possible at Hogwarts, she wanted to exceed expectations and so far she was. Cleo stopped and dropped one of the books and sighed putting one hand to the bridge of her nose she pinched it and shook her head, everything was wrong, she knew the papers were in the wrong books but she couldn't hold every page at arms distance away to get it right, and Heath seemed to be getting annoyed with her she took her hand away from her face and looked at Heath her Blue eyes still bright even though she felt dull 'Sorry, It just seemed strange that you waited out here for someone to get tired and fall asleep when its just a guy, if it was a girl i would understand although most partners would chose to protect their female when she was going to bed as a defensive mechnism not leave them alone, that would seem a bit strange, so thinking about it a bit more....' Cleo paused what she was saying when she noticed Heaths Face 'About it, it seems like it would be a boy after all' she quickly finished and looked down. Cleo brushed her hair behind her ear and sighed again, she still hadn't made any friends and the closet she had was Heath who she kept on annoying with her rambling and her attitude. Quickly stacking her books up she stood up and half bowed to Heath in a moment of confusion 'I'll just leave then' she said as she walked past him her blonde hair bouncing as she walked, she had forgotten a few books due to her poor eyesight but she didn't notice. Cleo was about to turn to open the corridor when she stood on something and heard a crunch, she winced and stepped back to just see her glasses on the floor both lenses smashed, Cleo bent over to pick them up but at the same time she dropped some of the small books, she wanted to scream with frustration but she held it in, she put the rest of the books down and put both hands to her head clutching her hair and running her fingers through it.

Cleo took a step away from her stuff and turned around to Heath and looked at him 'How Selfish can you get huh!' she said is harsh whispering her coolness had snapped 'Here i am struggling, not able to see because i lost my glasses and all you do is help me wipe up my face which i could easily heal with Magic and not help me pick up my books and then get annoyed at me for asking a simple question!' she said her voice quiet but her words as sharp as knives, Cleo took a few steps forward, she was practically radiating by now, her gut was strong she felt more confident and comfortable 'You think you're all High and Mighty Heath, but just like everyone else you can bleed, so get off your high horse and realist that It doesn't revolve around you' Cleo turned around and went to walk back to her books but she stopped and turned around and pointed at him ready to tell him about her half-Veela status but she changed her mind and sighed in exasperation and walked back to her books, she gathered the books together and picked up her glasses throwing them towards Heath with some force behind her throw. 'So Unless you have something nice to say and want to be my friend, i suggest you say it now or leave me alone' Cleo knew her Veela power was in her now she could feel it radiating through her, she wondered if Heath would start gushing at what she said or not.

Heath always tried to not let people's words get to him. He would become weak if he did. Epiphany had helped him put up walls, but those walls seemed to be easy for Cleo to break. He suspected she was part-veela. Which would make it easier for her to manipulate him to do what she wanted him to do. He was not sure he wanted to be friends with Cleo, but he did want to keep her close. He was sure she would benefit him in the future, but right now she was just being annoying. Heath scoffed. How come she thought she knew everything? She just needed to shut the hell up before he became very unchivalrous. He did not resort to violence often, but he was just so annoyed. Maybe it was because he was getting tired. "How about you just shut up and stop trying to figure out why I do the things I do? Everything is not easy for you to understand! Sometimes things are more complicated than you know!" he raised his voice to her. Heath looked back down at his feet. He was actually happy he was not placed in Ravenclaw. Then he would have to see Cleo, a pathetic excuse for a girl, all the time. She just annoyed him to bits. Heath had a feeling he would not regret this moment when he woke up in the next day. This could really be the end of his and Cleo's friendship. Not that he minded. He did not need anyone. He didn't need his family, Satsuke or Cleo. All he needed was was his mentor to light his path. That was all he needed. Cleo was not worth his precious time. She was not worth much really. She was just a half-breed.

Heath stuffed his hands into his pockets to restrain himself from doing something he would regret. He did not let his emotions show. He did not let Cleo see how much his word actually hurt. Heath just let her rant. Everything Cleo said was true, but why would he actually want to help her? How would helping her with her books make him feel better about himself? When Cleo finished talking Heath spoke up. "I guess it's settled then. We aren't friends." he said and kicked her piled of book so some of her notes fell out and some books tumbled down the stairs. She could easily gather them again with magic, but he did not care. Now, whenever he saw her, he would try and make her feel miserable. He roughly pushed Cleo out of his way. "What would a half breed like you know anyway?" he said. His voice had cracked a little. Heath quickly went down the stairs and and left the North Tower. He felt relieved that he would not have to look after a pathetic girl like Cleo anymore. She could be a loner while he gained power. Yes. That's how it was going to be now.

Late, I know, but I saw Cleo's reply and I was required to reply back. It did not turn out the way we planned though, sorry.

Cleo wanted to throw something at Heath, he seemed so nice at the start and then he turned sour in-between before and the start of school she could only assume that he had met someone which had twisted his attitude, Cleo looked at him, she didn¡¦t realise his tongue was so sharp, she crinkled her nose 'It¡¦s okay Heath, I understand, You met some people who influenced your thinking and now you¡¦re trying to justify that, Maybe you¡¦ll reach the same intellectual level as me and understand things' she said wanting to hurt Heath with her words, she didn¡¦t like him that much anymore and with no one around to witness this she didn¡¦t feel as shy.

Cleo didn¡¦t like Heaths raised voice, she wanted to crawl into a hole, she tried not to look at him and went back to stacking her books, they were neatly collected in a pile when she stood up, his body attitude was aggressive but controlled but he was hiding it well, he just seemed to have an attitude instead. Cleo was taken aback by his next comment, they weren¡¦t friends, Cleo¡¦s friend count had dropped to one, she took a step back slightly as he walked towards her and kicked her books, he didn¡¦t make any effort to avoid her he just ploughed straight into her, she hit the banister and made a small squeak, her letters fluttered down to the bottom floor, she looked down at heath who was leaving, he muttered something about her being a half-breed and she pulled out her wand, she wanted to hex him but she wouldn¡¦t hurt him. Cleo flicked it and all the paper had come shooting back up the stairwell, she subconsciously directed one towards him to give him a papercut, miss or not she didn¡¦t realise she did it. Cleo waved her wand at the books and they moved and stacked themselves, she sighed magic was always the easy way out of things. Cleo put her wand away and her hands were shaking, she didn¡¦t realise how much the small spat with Heath had affected her, he had turned stone cold and she didn¡¦t know what to do. Cleo picked up her books and quickly walked to the common room to get her spare pair of glasses, she wasn¡¦t going to let Heath bother her.

Sorry! I got super confused with this RP, Heath never seemed to play nice so i decided for cleo to get angryish. I¡¦m thinking Cleo and Heath have a sort of a Love/Hate Relationship type thing, if he wants to use her veela ability in the future he would come and say he¡¦s sorry and Cleo would forgive him as she does.. let me know if you¡¦re interested ƒº
