Patricia made her way up to the owlery. She was fortunate to only have no classes that day, that for a start made her birthday a good day. With a letter in hand she sat on the window sill and read over it again. She had put of writing the letter to Riley, her boyfriend for a few days now after Professor Weasley had found out about the two of them. Normally it would be weird enough for a Professor to know about a students relationships but when they were in a relationship with the Professor's room-mate, it made it all the more awkward. Sighing she contemplated leaving the part about Cyndi out but figured Riley should know about it.

Leaving the letter to her side she turned her body slightly to look outside, it was a beautiful day and the light summer breeze blew through her brown locks just enough for Patricia to really appreciate the New Zealand weather. It also made her appreciate her mothers impeccable taste in dress, it went perfect for a day like today. As Patricia gazed outside she started to absent-mindedly fiddle with the pendant on the necklace which Ruki had given her a year ago today. This was becoming a regular occurrence now for Patricia, or at least since the holidays when Patricia's crush on Ruki had began to form. Looking to the skies Patricia let out a light sigh as she thought about her birthday last year, she had spent it all with Ruki and it had been on of her best birthdays to date.

Theodore absolutely hated writing letters of any sort, even ones to the people he was closest to. It wasn't that he didn't care about them, he was just too lazy and usually had nothing to say to those people through a measly little letter anyways. But his family refused to really let him get by without writing them at least a letter or two, they made Alyssa do it too but she never seemed to mind writing these days which was odd for her because she used to hate writing letters just as much as he hated them. However since he didn't have a lot of homework or any classes today a simple letter wasn't that tasking and he found himself able to finish one to his father and one to Nicolette within an hours time, which was record time for him.

With his letters in hand, Theodore headed up to the Owlery so he could send these off quickly and made go search for Aleyha to hang out some before he took a nap or got to finishing his homework. Once he reached the top he froze and nearly had a panic attack when he saw someone else was in the owlery as well, the person had been really quiet so he hadn't realized that he wouldn't be alone. "Oh, it's you." His voice held no rudeness in it but instead relief. He relaxed and stated when he saw it was only Patricia. They didn't really get along but he thought it was better that it was her instead of someone else that could give him issues, once of those people being his older brother or even Alyssa who had been nothing but bossy and snarky lately. Theodore quickly glanced at Patricia with his emerald green eyes, the dreamy and goofy look on her face wanted to make him roll his eyes bit instead he resisted and headed over to where his Owl, Barron was perched at. The moment he got close enough to give the letters to it, Barron reached down and bit Theodore crankily with his beak before he squawked at him loudly, the bird was probably upset due to the lack of travelling it did. "Ouch, blood bird." He hissed in his French accent and lifted his bloody finger and glared at the bird. The poor beast got lots of travelling time during summer vacation because of the letters written between him, Aleyha, and sometimes his sisters. Why it had to bite him though he was unsure, with his wave of his hand the owl took the letters and flew off.

With it being the Owlery it was easy to hear people coming up the stones steps. Patricia didn't bother to look to see who it was, figuring she wouldn't know the person and not wanting to disturb them as they sent away their letter. It wasn't until the person spoke that Patricia turned to face them. She knew who it was before she saw them though, she knew the voice well after knowing the person for five years. Five years too many she thought to herself. She rolled her eyes as she let out a groan at the sight of Theodore. During the five years that the two knew each other, they had never gotten on, there was something about him that she didn't like and after a certain Herbology lesson last semester her dislike for him only increased.

She didn't talk to Theodore as he went about getting his owl and sending it off. He had ruined the perfectly good mood she was in. She narrowed her eyes as she watched him go about sending off his letter, just wanting him to leave. When he finally attached the letter to his owl Patricia waited for him to leave. That was until the bird bit him. Patricia couldn't help but laugh, sure it probably hurt but there was something about other people's pain, especially people she didn't like, that made her laugh at the sight of it. When the bird took to flight Patricia jumped off of the window sill so she wouldn't get hit with its wings. Seeing how Theodore hadn't left yet and still looking at his bloody finger Patricia took out her wand and walked over to him. During the holidays Niccy had stayed true to her word and taught Patricia a few simple healing spells. Nothing too advanced yet as she wouldn't be able to do them but enough to heal a bite from an owl. Taking his hand in her own she raised her wand over the finger and saying the incantation Patricia watched the bloody dry up and the small wound heal. "There you big baby." she said, releasing his hand and going back to sit on the window sill.

As if things weren't already bad enough when Barron had bitten him on the finger, it got twice as worse when Patricia Rogers began to laugh at his misfortune. He narrowed his emerald green eyes at her before he snorted and went to go wipe off the blood form his finger, just as he went to do that she had caught his hand and did something with her wand. His confusion was cleared when he saw that she had managed to heal his finger quite easily, the only people he had ever seen heal anything like that before was Nicolette or his sister when she convinced him that he should let her practice on him. "Where did you learn healing at?" Theodore asked as he inspected his finger carefully, she had done a good job because the finger looked as if there hadn't even been an injury on it. Letting his hand fall back at his side he glanced at Patricia carefully, they had never gotten along but he wasn't in the mood to start a fight to instead he would just keep on his guard.

The Veela blood that ran through his veins never failed at making Theodore look soft even when he was feeling the meanest anyone could ever feel, and he hated it. "I'm not being a baby. That bloody hurt! But...thanks...I guess." He said as he averted his stare to the floor, he had never said thanks to a Hufflepuff never mind an enemy of his so he had to admit that being civil with her right now was a little weird.

Patricia turned round again to see Theodore examining his finger, did he look impressed? Patricia pondered. She had to admit she was very proud of herself in performing the healing spell and it working so well for her first time doing it, but she would think about that later. Patricia couldn’t really find herself being in a good mood when Theodore was there, he would probably find some way to bring her down. As she pushed herself up in the window sill again she answered his question, “Niccy taught me during the holidays. Nothing big…like your cut.” she said with a small smirk forming on her lips.

She lowered her eyes to her dress as she fixed it a bit. She raised her eyes once more as Theodore began to talk again. She couldn’t help but laugh again as he tried to stand up for himself. She didn’t doubt for a minute that it probably did hurt; she had never been bitten by an owl before so she couldn’t tell; but she still liked to tease Theodore about it, it was the first time that she ever had an upper hand on him, she wasn’t going to back down too easily. “Whatever you say.” she said in a teasing tone. Although his finishing words startled her a bit. She raised her eyebrows and looked at him curiously, he thanked her? Since when does Theodore Snow thank people, especially ones he didn’t like. “Um, you’re welcome.” she said, cautiously, wondering if she was walking into some sort of trap.

Theodore was still amazed that Patricia was able to heal his finger like that, perhaps she was even skilled enough to compete with his sister who happened to already know quite a lot in that particular subject. Then again when he heard who it was that had taught her he wasn't as surprised anymore, Theodore had heard his father say something once or twice before about Nicolette possibly being one of the greatest Healers of this time. "Is Niccy is teaching you to become a Healer?" The older woman had also taught Alyssa quite a few things but most of it she had learned from books or on her own due to her trying to pull away from the family. She must be teaching quite a few people then, Theodore distinctly remembered seeing a woman with odd colored purple eyes being taught by her once as well. "I'm surprised she's still teaching anyone with her being pregnant and all." He shrugged his shoulder, he would not complain if Patricia wanted to learn healing from her because there was nothing he could do about it anyways, plus he figured if she was going to learn it at all she might as well learn it from someone who knew what they were doing. Then again Patricia might just learning for fun, he really had no idea.

"Don't act surprise, I can be nice you know?" He stated with a roll of his eyes, his tone was still calm sounded, he decided to cast aside his irritation because a lot of people thought the same way she did. Theodore was thought of as a bully and almost a repeat of his father, but he was trying to change that because he refused to be like his fool of a father. And if that meant being nicer he could make an attempt at it, as long as people kept out of his business and left the Half-Breed nonsense out of it.

Patricia nodded her head in response to Theodore's question, a smile apparent on her face. "Mhmm. It's actually thanks to Niccy that I'm even considering to become a Healer." she told, wondering why she was actually telling him this, it wasn't like the two fifth years were best buds and now she was telling him of her future career hopes. She rolled her eyes lightly when he said how he was surprised with Niccy teaching her to become a Healer all because she was pregnant. Theodore clearly know woman and the fact that they can multi-task. "Well she was only a month, if even that, when she was teaching me. We needed to do something anyway during the holidays that wouldn't annoy dad too much." she said with a shrug of her shoulders. Laughing to herself at the thought of Niccy and how she loved to annoy her dad so much.

When Theodore said that he could be nice, Patricia snorted at the comment. "Well it's news to me." she told him, a small smirk on her face. She was surprised at seeing this side of Theodore, even though it was subtle it was very noticeable on Theodore. "I'm surprised I didn't fall with the shock of it." she added, her voice clearly giving away the fact that she was only saying this in jest.

Theodore leaned against the wall of the Owlery with one of his shoulders and stared at Patricia carefully as she explained that the whole idea of her becoming a Healer in the fist place was because of Nicolette, so she was influencing people to start becoming Healers now too? Last he remembered she was trying to pull followers of the Dark Arts out of the shadows, he wondered if that had stopped because of her actually having kids to watch over now or if there was something going on that he hadn't picked up on yet. "I actually pictured you being a Professor, but hey do what you want." He help his pale creamy hands up as she tried to make sure she didn't take his words the wrong way, he wasn't actually insulting her but he really could see her as becoming a Professor one day and it was probably because she appeared to be really good in school. "Alyssa is studying to be a Healer too...I think. Or an Auror, I think she can't make up her mind." She scoffed at his twin, even if he supported people doing what they wanted he didn't want his sister to become an Auror at all because she would be seriously convicted by the family if they found out. they could deal with Healers but knew better than to let an Auror into the family with so many Death Eaters so she would be in trouble fast. 'I wonder if that Auror's son she used to like is still around.' Last he heard that had gotten into a a fight but she was still writing letters to him, he had no idea what was up now nor did he really care to find out. As long as that creep stayed away from her and left the family alone he wouldn't have to worry either.

"Still, no offense to her but Niccy can be awful hard to get along with when she's pregnant. I've seen her and my dad get into it so many times." He almost laughed because everytime his father lost to her as well, she was just not willing to bend around and let him win with her stubborn aura that she had going on. It was almost still a wonder to Theodore how she and Professor Styx managed not to kill one another, then again he wasn't here to question why they loved each other, from what he had learned form liking Aleyha was that you couldn't really control who you liked and why you liked them. "Want me to go back to being mean?" He asked as he removed himself from the wall and lazily crossed his arms over his chest to give him an almost dark appeal to his soft handsome features. He did not like that she was teasing him about this when he was actually trying to be civil for once.

It was not becoming clear to Patricia that Theodore wasn't going to be leaving anytime soon but he was actually behaving good tonight and surprisingly Patricia wasn't minding his company. Although the second it changed back to his usual attitude she would be out of there as fast a firebolt. When Theodore said how he had actually seen her as a Professor after Hogwarts a look of surprise came across the young Hufflepuff's face. "Thank you." she said, taking it as a compliment that she could make a good Professor. "It is my back up job. I may return here if the chance ever occurs after being a Healer for a few years I think." she said, divuldging further into her future career path more than she even thought she would with Theodore Snow of all people. Listening to his words she was surprised to learn that she wasn't the only person in their year hoping to become a Healer. "Oh fair play to Alyssa." she said with a smile. It took a lot of guts for someone to want to become an Auror.

Patricia didn't really take much notice of what Theodore had to say about Niccy when she was pregnant. Unfortunately Patricia wasn't going to be there for much of the pregnancy and for what she was going to be there for she had had enough practice in handling pregnany Niccy the last time she was pregnant. "And I'd like to see you be a sane and normal person in her situation." she said, not expected a boy to know what it was like to be regnant. Sure Patricia had never had the experience either but she figured it wasn't easy. When Theodore asked her if she wanted him to go back to being mean Patricia helds up her hands, shaking them and her head as if to say 'no' while a laugh escaped her lips. "No! No need for that. I like nice Theodore, it's different." she said in a sincere tone.

So Patricia was planning on becoming a Healer and a Professor in her lifetime, it sounded like she had really high expectations for her future life. "Wow, you seem to have your life so planned out. I can honestly say I have no idea what I'm going to do." He admitted as he began to fiddle with his lip ring nervously, he sometimes got uncomfortable around people like Patricia because he knew right off they would always be something he would never be even if he wanted to, a good person. Other than the fact that when Aleyha graduated he would be getting married, he knew of nothing else that was going to happen to him in his future, the rest was going to have to be a mystery. Theodore stopped leaning against the wall and glanced at Patricia tiredly before his eyes drifted around the room uncomfortably because he had no idea why he was suddenly so nervous about talking to some dumb Hufflepuff. When Patricia complimented Alyssa or rather commented on it he gave her a look that actually could resemble or mirror a look of worry or discomfort. "Actually for Alyssa's sake, I hope she gets over the whole Auror phase. The family and Niccy would tear her apart if she didn't." He commented as he leaned against the wall and fiddled with his lip rings out of nerves, if his sister actually ever gained enough stupidity to do it then sparks would fly. The Snows were full of Death Eaters and Nicolette herself hated Aurors with a passion, they would not hesitate on doing bad things to her.

"Eh, Nicolette's never really been sane to begin with so thats hard to answer. Plus I don't plan on being pregnant anytime soon." He said almost as if he were being snotty, but really he just found his own answer to be a little funny to say out loud to someone he barely knew. Theodore actually didn't want children at the moment, chances are his mind would be changed in the future or he would have them anyways, but right now the thought did not appeal to him. Plus he actually did find Nicolette a little insane, anyone who didn't obvious didn't know her well enough. "As long as you don't make fun of me having Veela blood then we should have no problems for awhile. I need to start 'mellowing out' anyways." He air quoted mellowing out because it was advice that his aunt Effie tried to give him after he had been scolded by his father for getting in trouble in school a lot. She was always so much of a peace lover that sometimes he wondered how she came form this family, he saw now why she was called the Black Sheep.

Patricia couldn't help but smile as she and Theodore continued to talk. She was really starting to like this side of Theodore and wondered why he had never bothered to show it before, it suited him. She nodded her head as he commented on her having her life sorted out. "Mhmm." she said in a happy tone. For so long she had gotten so discouraged with people who seemed to have their life sorted out while she was still drawing up a blank when it came to here years after Hogwarts. Sometimes it was even worse when younger people seemed so sure of what they wanted to do in the future, she always thought there was something wrong with her, but now she was content with her choices. "I used to be the exact same. Trust me, I didn't just wake up one morning and thought to myself, 'Oh I think I'll be a Healer or a Professor' I wish." she said with a small eye roll, laughing softly to her words. "There's nothing wrong with not knowing what you want to do, actually it's pretty normal to not be looking so far ahead in the future at our age." she said, her smile never fading.

Patricia was confused at Theodore's about about his sisters choice in her future career, but more specifically what his family and Niccy would do about it. Even though she wasn't brought up in a Wizarding family she was almost positive that becoming an Auror was something one's family was proud off. "I find that hard to believe." she said in a voice that she thought Theodore was over reacting slightly. "Anyway Alyssa should be allowed to do whatever she wants after Hogwarts." she said in a bit of an annoyed voice that a family would ever stand in the way of what someone, especially their own flesh and blood, wanted to do that would bring them happiness.

Even though she didn't agree with his words Patricia couldn't help but laugh at his comment on how Niccy was never sane. She may be a little more eccentric than other woman her age but that's why Patricia loved her so much. "That's not nice Theodore." she said, trying to be serious but still laugh. Snorting once more she rolled her eyes at Theodore's comment on how he didn't plan on being pregnant any time soon, Typical male comment, she thought. When Theodore said how they wouldn't have any problems just so as long as she didn't make fun of him having Veela blood Patricia shook her head. "Honestly Theodore, do you think I'm one to make fun of people's blood?" she asked in a sincere tone of voice. "I'm not like that." she said, almost offended that someone would think that she would be blood prejudice, heck for 4 years she thought she was a muggleborn.

Patricia said that it was okay that he didn't know what he wanted to do when he got older, but no matter how much she tried to reassure him he still felt like by this point he should know what on earth he wanted to do before it was too late and he didn't have the chance to do it anymore. There was one job or rather privilege he would love to have, being the Head of the Snow Family was something he always wanted within his grasp, but it wouldn't be possible because he was nothing more than a Half-breed. "Unluckily most of my future has been planned out for me anyways, so there's not that much to be planned out." He shrugged his shoulders and frowned, he didn't mind so much that he had to get married but there were plenty of other things that he was being forced to do that he wasn't really all that happy with. Especially being forced to respect a man he felt deserved nothing but misery, his father was the biggest reason he preferred to stay at the school recently. "On top of that, how can you stand to take that many classes without falling asleep in every single one of them?" Theodore was a mastermind at falling asleep during classes, he took a short nap almost every class except Herbology and Arithmancy and those two classes were pretty self-explanatory. One was his aunt who could probably get him into more trouble than a nap was worth, and the other Professor was just not one to meddle around with if you wanted to remain not in trouble.

"When my mom died, my father took complete control over us. If we don't do what he wants or says he could do a lot of horrible things to us." He stated, Alyssa was the one that usually stayed out of trouble but this was going to throw her into Father's bad side faster than anything else could possibly ever could. Even though they fight a lot and have tried to tear each other apart on multiple occasions, Theodore still cared for his twin and didn't want anything bad to happen to her....yet.

When Patricia told him what he said wasn't nice, he couldn't help but roll his emerald green eyes at her. "Obviously you don't know Nicolette as well as you think you do then." He stated before stretching his arm up to scratch his cheek lazily, anyone who knew that woman well knew that she was not completely sane nor is she someone you would want to be best buddies with if you weren't a lover of trouble yourself. Theodore remembered once that his father told him that Niccy had a demon inside of her, one that no one around here has ever seen and hopefully never would. "A lot of people say they aren't like that, but then it's always the same reaction when they find out I'm Half-Veela." Theodore muttered coldly his eyes casting onto the floor as he tried to keep negative thoughts out of his head. However he did seem to trust Patricia not to rub it in his face, it would seem to be out of her normality to act like that.

Patricia was beginning to get annoyed with Theodore’s words. It may be true that his future was planned out for him but Patricia was a true believer in someone being allowed to decide what they wanted to do in their life and not having to do what someone has planned for them. Then again Patricia was lucky that she didn’t have that problem of people forcing her into doing things that she didn’t want to do. She had grown to learn that the Wizarding World had quite different views on things such as this, compared to the Muggle World, and for that she almost despised being part of such a World that forced children into doing things they maybe didn’t even want to do. By Theodore’s nonchalant shrug she could tell that this was something that he was used to and just took it in his stride, for this: Patricia felt sorry for him.

Patricia couldn’t help but laugh at his next question, it was quite random and off topic which was partially why Patricia found it so amusing in the first place. “I enjoy them!” she replied after getting her laughing under control, a simple smile forming on her lips as she gave her answer. For that’s what her answer was; simple, and true. Shrugging lightly she added, “And I just think about the end result of all the classes, after exams are over, after Hogwarts, how actually staying awake in class will help me achieve my future career.” There was some classes where Patricia would rather not go to or have a quick nap in but when she remembered about becoming a Healer or a Professor she immediately put those thoughts out of her head, she wanted both those careers to be within her grasp after she left Hogwarts, and to do that she need to do well in her classes.

Theodore’s explanation of his father was enough to send cold chills down her spine, how could someone be so cruel? She shook her head to show how she disapproved of how his father was. She then remembered that Nataliia was now married to Theodore and Alyssa’s dad after he got her pregnant. She felt sorry for Nataliia, having to be married to such a man. Shaking those thoughts from her head she turned her attention back to Theodore. Patricia found it surprising how having known Theodore and Alyssa, for that matter, for the five years they had been at Hogwarts together, she thought she knew them. Well in the short while that she had been talking to Theodore she was beginning to realise that she didn’t know them as well as she thought she did. It led her to wonder just how well she knew others in her year, more so the ones she called her friends.

Patricia shook her head once more and let out a sigh when Theodore said that she obviously didn’t know Niccy as well as she thought she did. Whereas Patricia thought she knew her mother just well enough, if she thought didn’t know her she might not have been as willing as she was to be adopted by her during the holidays. Patricia was finding it hard to wonder why Theodore didn’t believe her when she said that she didn’t care about people’s blood status, she really couldn’t talk about other people’s blood status when she herself had been considered ‘the lowest of the low’ just a few years ago herself. “Believe what you want Theodore but I’m not like that. I honestly don’t care about what blood people are, pure, half, mixed, muggleborn, we’re all the same.” she stated, believing every word she said.

Theodore could figured that Patricia didn't like the fact someone had their decisions made for them, but if it was thing she should learn before it was too late was that some people had no choice, it was either do what others decided for them or be killed for disobedient. Next she began to talk about classes and how they would help her in the long run, everything she said made Theodore shake his head at her with little amusement. "Naps help, but that had to be the nerdiest thing I've ever heard. Why aren't you in Ravenclaw?" He knew that there was exceptions to every house, like Alyssa would was enough of an overachiever to be in Ravenclaw as well, it just seemed like a House that would suit Patricia well with her hard-work and expectations with school work. Theodore knew he wouldn't fit into any other house, especially now that he was growing up and change himself so much to become the type of her person he would need to be if he was expected to have a family someday.

"Actually, I haven't even told you half the things my father has done and such. But don't worry, he can't' really do all that much with Nicolette around. She and my dad fight all the time." Theodore said with a roll of his eyes and almost a smirk on his face, actually watching Nicolette get into verbal fights with his father was often something really funny to watch. She always won in some way or another, a few times it's even gotten to the point where the two of them have tried using magic on one another, but Niccy was much older and more skilled so once again he lost to her. Recently a lot of Alphonse's dispute's and fights with her have been cut short by her protective husband, which was even funnier to Theodore. "Don't shake your head, I'm serious. You probably don't know Nicolette as well as you think you do." He actually said as he held up his hands, he wasn't trying to make it an issue with them or anything but so many people misjudged that woman and bad things often came from it. Theodore cleared remembered how he felt when he learned more about her, he felt almost like he was sitting next to a complete stranger.

"And thats a lie. Half-breeds and Muggles surely aren't the same as Pure blood and Half-bloods. Let me ask you, how many Half-bloods do you know that have blood in them that turns them into a bird when angered or happens to make them incredibly short?" Muggles didn't have magic blood, and most Half-breeds had some genetic addition in their blood that made them different from everyone else with normal blood. If was a proven fact that not all their blood was the same, it was just that people make a big deal of it so it happens to become more of a big deal than it should be.

Patricia could feel her blood starting to boil, a common thing to happen when she talked to Theodore, something which didn't happen often. Although when it did happen Patricia would normally go away finding herself having to take a while and relax, but this time it was different. This time it didn't have to do with how much Patricia disliked Theodore and they had ended up fighting again. No! This time Patricia was getting more and more annoyed about what Theodore was saying and how his family played such a huge part in his life - for all the wrong reasons. Patricia didn't like people like that, the term 'pushy parents' didn't even begin to describe what the young Hufflepuffs views were on the Snow family right now.

Although she was glad of the slight break in conversation, making it much lighter. Despite her current mood she couldn't help but laugh. "It maybe nerdy but it's true." she said with a slight shrug of her shoulders. "Strange! When I learned about the different houses I thought Ravenclaw suited me quite well, but the sorting Hat knew best as ever. Then again, who says Hufflepuffs can't be smart." she said with a slight smirk on her lips. She could see how each house was associated with their common traits but it didn't mean that the people with other houses couldn't pocess said traits, it just meant they were more prodominant in some more than others.

Patricia couldn't believe there was more. Theodore's dad didn't seem to hold a candle to Theodore and even though he wasn't all that bad, something she was slowly beginning to learn, she could tell where he got some of his 'cruelness' from. She was surprised to hear Niccy's name mentioned but then she remembered her and Niccy's first meeting before everything with her father happened. When Niccy had told her how she knew the Snow family, she didn't realise it was through their father. She couldn't help but snort lightly when Theodore said how his father and Niccy fought a lot, Niccy was awful for bickering with people, it was rather entertaining to watch at times. Although Patricia knew one thing, she didn't want to get on the wrong side of her new mum. Patricia rolled her eyes and sighed. "So I don't know Niccy then. Tell me something I don't know!" she said, almost as if she dared him too. She was becoming a little annoyed at the fact that Theodore seemed to think that she didn't know Niccy, how could she not. Sure she had only known her a little over a year but she knew enough about her, surely.

Patricia felt like facepalming when Theodore bought up the tiny thing that seperated mixed bloods from everyone else. OK well it wasn't exactly tiny, as it rightly pointed out people with mixed blood in them (specifically that off a veela) could turn them into a giant bird or a giant, then again there was the point of part goblins. "OK, but apart from that, can you name any differences?" she asked, she was too much of a Hufflepuff to argue about people's differences with Theodore.

Patricia asked out loud who said that Hufflepuffs couldn't be smart, and as much as he wanted to say something about it he figured it was a rhetorical question that was probably left unanswered. Besides it was sort of dumb to stereotype the houses like that when there was solid proof that not everyone was like that. "True, I guess thats like saying that all Slytherins are huge jerks. When were really not all that bad." He replied stiffly, he felt a little bad that he used to be so judgemental about things and people, he wasn't like that as much anymore though. The day he found out he was a half-breed instead of a pure blood so many things changed for him, including his views on others and himself, he was raised to think and be one way to find out many years later that he was actually one of those people he used to tease and hate so much. Still he had natural Slytherin traits that didn't revolve around blood and he supposed that was why he ended up there, he was starting to question why his sister was in that house though more and more everyday. "I remember back in the First year, it seems so long ago but I can remember the Sorting Hat so well and everything." He laughed as the memories filled his head of his first year at Hogwarts, he was so much younger and foolish back then that it seemed almost impossible that he was like that when he was younger. Sure he still wasn't the nicest person in the world, but he was more tolerable and was growing up immensely for his upcoming future that had been ironed out for him many years ago. Never in his first year did he seem himself being in an arranged marriage or liking someone like Aleyha, but he did.

Patricia seemed to be unhappy that he kept assuring her that she didn't know Niccy was well as she thought she did, but it was the truth so why not tell her about it now instead of letting her find out about it later. And after she spoke and pretty much dared him to say something that she didn't know, and he gave her an almost wicked smirk because he knew exactly what she didn't know because Niccy was usually very cautious to let people know this information. "Okay how about, did you know that Niccy was a Slytherin and a bully in school?" Most people that took a look at Niccy now wouldn't see a Slytherin or a bully, but instead a very bubbly and air-headed person who didn't seem to get bothered by anything really. Then again people often thought she was nice too which was completely different from what she really was, she was bubbly...not nice at least not if you knew her well enough or had been around her long enough to see her get ticked off. But Theodore was not finished yet, there was still a lot more that Patricia didn't know and should know. "Or did you know that she's been in Azkaban as well?" He halted there, there was still more but he decided that maybe if wasn't worth telling her that much just yet, what if she didn't even believe him about what he was saying to her already? Still if should be obvious by her past history that she wasn't as sweet and innocent as everyone assumed her to be.

"Muggles and Squibs cannot do magic. And some have less knowledge of the magical world. There's a lot of differences out there if you bother to look at them." He shrugged his shoulders, it wasn't like he was against these people but he could deny the fact that they had differences. Prejudice would exist in this world as long as there was difference in humanity, couild the Dark Lord really be blamed for just following his beliefs?

Patricia listened to Theodore as he seemed to be in agreement with her, something she never thought would happen but it seemed to be happeniing more and more in this one meeting. Patricia was finding it a little strange on how the two had yet to jump down each others throats, the only ever time that she could stand to be in the same room as Theodore was in the classroom when she had to behave, excluding one of the Herbology lessons from last semester. A small smirk crossed her mouth as she thought of it, she may not have been proud at how she had acted during that class but it was rather funny now that it was in the past.

Although, as Patricia knew all too well, good things never last and must come to an end. In this case it was Theodore’s persistence on how Patricia clearly didn’t know Niccy all that well. That may be true, she had only known Niccy for a little over a year now but what she did know about Niccy was enough for Pat to know she loved her mother. Why else would she agree to being adopted by her if she like her? Patricia listened to Theodore give examples to prove his point, she was getting rather bored of this. So Niccy was a Slytherin….that didn’t matter to Patricia, sure it was a bit of a surprise but when she thought about it, it made sense. Niccy did know Pat’s dad from Hogwarts so the fact that they were both in the same house made sense. When he said that Niccy was a bully back in Hogwarts made Patricia roll her eyes. Niccy was one of the nicest people that Patricia ever had the pleasure of meeting, but she did know she had a bad past so perhaps it played a part in the whole thing. Patricia, true, didn’t know nor did she care, that was in the past and Patricia didn’t care about it as much as she did about the Niccy in the present.

Although Theordore’s last comment through Patricia off, big time! She quickly forgot about the rest of their conversation, it was petty talk compared to this. Patricia was in shock. Her eyes popped slightly and her mouth fell open some. She stared at Theodore for bit just to examine his features and make sure he wasn’t making this up or playing some cruel joke on Patricia’s behalf. She saw nothing. From what she could see, he was telling the complete truth. It couldn’t be true…Could it? she questioned herself before mentally slapping herself for even thinking it. There was not a chance in hell Niccy could have been in Azkaban. “Yo..you’re lying.” she said, her voice cracking slightly

Theodore quickly raised an eyebrow at Patricia's statement about him lying when he had told her that Nicolette had been Azkaban before, he never lied about anything so he certainly felt a little irritated that anyone could assume he was like that without knowing him all that well. "I don't lie." He crossed his arms over his chest as he answered boredly, he knew who the older woman really was and felt for the first time in his life that maybe it wasn't such a good thing for him to know so much about people, he wished he could forget what she was just because it scared him that even someone like her be a heartless killer. His emerald green eyes shifted to the floor as he thought long and hard about what he could say that would convince her, this must have been hard on Patricia to hear something like this from a boy she barely knew that well.

"Do you want to know why?" He asked after a moment, he felt that if he was going to state that she had been to Azkaban before he might as well inform her as to why, though he also figured that there was a chance that she would think of him as even more of a liar then she thought he was before. He flicked some of his long hair out of his face and let himself look around the Owlery, what happened to the younger years of his life when everything was so easy to explain or understand. "Ask to see her left arm, when you see that mark you'll see what I mean." He wondered if she understood what he was talking about at all, that dark mark that was on her arm, he knew that if Patricia saw it she would probably feel just as sick as he did when he first saw it. Eventually he became fascinated with the way it looked but the first time he saw it all he felt was shock and horror.

Patricia was more than confused by this point. What the hell could Niccy have been sent to Azkaban for? She was one of the nicest people Patricia knew, it couldn't be possible. Theodore may have said that he doesn't lie but he was bound to be lying now, Patricia refused to believe it. Leaning forward a bit when Theodore asked if she really wanted to know, nodding her head, she listened to what he had to say. This'll be a laugh and a half to hear. she thought to herself. Even though she was sure that Niccy definitely had not been in Azkaban before she started to get a bit worried that Theodore was actually telling the truth, even if she didn't want to believe it she had to listen. When she heard his explanation her eyebrows frowned, that wasn't even an explanation. She repeated his words over in her head, trying to figure out what he meant by the rather criptic clue. A mark on her left arm? she thought to herself.

Patricia racked her brains to think what the hell Theodore was on about, Patricia had seen Niccy's left arm before and there was no mark on it....she had seen her arm right? Patricia tried to think but she was coming up blanks, but when she thought about it most of the times that she had seen Niccy she was wearing something to cover her arms, but that could be nothing more than a simple coinsidence. After thinking about it for a few minutes it came to her. Her eyes widened as she looked at Theodore. "Niccy is not a Death Eater! You're a prick for even saying such a thing Theodore Snow, that's a horrible lie!" she exclaimed, being careful not to say 'Death Eater' too loudly, in case anyone were to hear the conversation. Jumping off of the window sill Patricia made her way out of the owlery not even wanting to look at Theodore because she was so angry that he would even suggest such a thing but a part of her was worried that he was right. He and his family had known Niccy a lot longer than Patricia had, true, and probably did know things about her that Patricia didn't, but this couldn't be true, Patricia refused to believe it!
