Dannii had been out in the fields surrounding Brightstone Village for the last hour. Not as a human, but as a lion. It felt so good to stretch out in her cat form. She could see, and smell so much better. When she was in her animagus form it was almost like she couldn't feel her old quidditch injury. Dannii noticed that the sun was almost in the middle of the sky. If she wanted to continue to go unharassed she had better turn back. With one last stretch she made her way behind a hill where she changed back into her human form. Dannii picked up her water bottle, and took a long swig. The cool water tasted amazing. She pressed the bottle against her face to help her cool off. Even if it was winter in New Zealand it was still pretty warm out.
As Dannii made her way back to her house she realized she didn't quite feel like going home yet. All that was waiting for her were some unfinished sketches, and an old grumpy cat. So when she reached her place she just kept walking into town. Maybe she could go browse some of the stores. For a change of scenery Dannii decided to walk through Tākarokaro Park. Normally she avoided the place because it was always swarming with children, but it still seemed rather quiet today. Dannii decided to actually enjoy the moment of silence in the park. There was a bench near by, but then there was also a swing set. Dannii made her way over to the swing set. As she sat down Dannii realized how much taller she had gotten since the last time she had been on one of these things. She stretched her legs out, and used them to rock herself back, and forth. For a moment she almost felt like a young witch again.
